Almost done downloading.
Will report speed, stability, how easy it is to change APN, features, etc.

Once he's done testing he'll let us know, but if you can't wait that long than you can try to flash it yourself or look in the comments of the thread and see if any T-Mobile users have any complaints.

Wiped Data/Factory Reset
Flashed the ROM
It's installing, waiting for it to finish then reboot.
So far so good.
I wonder if we're going to need to change our build.prop to match our device.

I think it made the AT&T sound when booting, lol.
So it goes to the SGS III screen to the Nexus Screen to the Samsung screen.
It booted, WiFi works, I got signal without adding my APN so, hm.
Testing it some more.

Has AT&T bloatware, I'm getting 4G signal here, so that's a good thing.
I hate the status bar, going to have to theme it back to stock TW.
So far so good, AT&T sound when shutting down as well.

Mr. Robinson's debloater didn't work, Titanium Backup it is.
So far it seems like everything is working, haven't dug too deep yet, will keep reporting back.

1.2 is going to drop soon. I have patience. thanks to those that flashed and reported to those who had doubts. Build prop edits to make it read t999 aren't hard to do, everything else should move along swimmingly, except no wifi calling will be available.

Its based off of our JB leak, so im gonna guess a lot of our issues as well. This guy seems to be a little more knowledgeable about things know offense to our guys of course.

I assume it's a fact our phone will be getting AndroidOS 4.2, but does anyone have a link as to when that might be?

I` am sure we will get 4.2, it is not a major update. Even the Note 1 gets Jellybean after a year. Samsung isn`t LG fortunately

Sammobile just leaked a new jb firmware for gt n7000...in that post they say that jb 4.2 is planned for Q1 2013 release...for s3 n note 2...

I think its the update script causing the problems if i had to guess i looked at it and i don't think it needs to mount the partition that you have in it. I have disected alot of files and don't remember seeing this partition being mounted like this to install apps. Just a guess though I am not a professional developer so I could be wrong.

Eh I tried. Maybe it just not gonna work... Maybe some else can port it.

OK. Progress report. Found the conflicting libs causing no-boot. Removed them for now, but that will cause a fc most likely. Its probably due to hardware. I'm going to merge the lib files later but just want to test the zip without them.

Maybe it'll work with the new leaked version of 4.12?
Would it be possible in any way to port the GS3 camera app to the 4.12 leak and use the zip on that?
I would try myself, but i have no knowledge on deving at all.

Yes. That was one of my plans. Thus mod should work better on the leak. I'll use all my porting knowledge to get it to work.

I just flashed [CAM-MOD] ["Note 2 Camera"] 24.09. 30Mbit/192kbit/Hardkey-Vol.UP/SLOW/FAST-MOTION to my Omega 44.3 ROM an now its not getting past the boot screen.
Is there a way to undo me flashing the zip file?

You're talking about the S3 ROM while this is the S2 thread, but to fix it just reflash the Omega ROM

ahh well my download is taking forever (servers are slow i guess) so if you get the chance can you upload it please? im going to try a couple things to see if we can get the s4 framework to boot on the s3. if you'd like we can do a group effort type thing.

Yea I saw that but wasn't sure if the 4 was maybe the same thing as the C. If there is a dev or some one that can explain to me on how to pull the files from the phone to a Windows PC, I will post them online.

Thanks. You're a legend. We spent all night trying to see if we could dump the entire system without root, unfortunately it had to be done. Were you able to fully unroot or was KNOX killing your root access?

Knox was killing SuperSU. So you pretty much couldn't do a thing without removing Knox it looked like. I was able to get TWRP installed with Odin which let me dump the files off the phone. DocHoliday is working on a stock odin to get the phone back to stock form. Man it was a long night dam Knox killing everything.
