So i installed Awesome Beats v.5 on my HTC One V and it installed perfectly but i don't hear ANY difference at all.I tried disabling it and there was still no difference in the sound.What's up with that?

Yes, though it will be clear enough when you tried listening through Beats Audio Headphone or Earphone
How can I check the existence of a beats mod on my phone or if it is working/running?

i installed "Black Notes Hybrid 2nd Gen" yesterday
it has beats in it and i can clearly hear the difference.

audio driver problem?
Hey guys. I recently installed BeatsAudio driver and my phone doesn't play mp3s anymore, in the stock music player, sound in videos, but most importantly in settings - my phone doesn't ring anymore.
Since it was a fresh firmware update followed by some system app cleaning (google+ etc etc), i don't know if this problem was before the new audio driver or only after. can i get somewhere the original audio driver or what should i do?
i'm running the latest EU firmware now.

I am not sure how much the A is having common with my I847 Rugby Smart. but I know that your camera Mod only worked for pictures then force closes for vids! so I guess the audio I'd to blame.
i managed to installed this via Recovery Mode & install from SD card. The sound is now much better. But there is no indicator wether you have successfully installed in your phone. just install it & enjoy:victory:
i am on cm9 b3 should i flash beats audio ?? aswel there is no music efect tab in ma sound settings.

Im running IceColdJelly bean with Bricked kernel and want a good Music player or mod / EQ that works with the rom..
Tryed Aroma Beat enhanced but didnt boot up after installed, my guess is that it dont work with CM / AOKP roms.
I would appreciate if someone could provide a link or tips on a good EQ / music player

an app in the market namend "pimp my rom alpha" has the bravia engine as mod that u can download ... or in an jb aosp rom, i do not know wich it was, there was an app namend noozxoide eizo rewire Pro ... also available in the market

Thanks man.. DPS manager is stock in some roms, but there nothing that beat the beats audio that you can get in Pimp my rom
Its nearly the same as DSP but heavy tweaked with Beats Audio sound profiles and stuff.

I am using Revolution HD 7.1 on my Desire hd but just saw an updated version 7.2 is available. How can I just install updates on my 7.1 without reflashing the whole ROM again...???
OTA is not available for ARHD dude..

Do I need to change the file names so that it should match the system htcMUSIC.apk or something like that..???????

Ok. I'm kind of desperate to give my phone a new start. It's so sloow that it's "killing me" from time to time and according to this thread v4a IS a ROM.

V4A not entirely I added, co-developer of MIUIV5 for G12 added this, I just update it to newest during my porting.

Disabled lpa, but still the driver is not being installed, the sound fx is copied to the sound fx folder but the in app installation is not happening, it does install but even after rebooting the driver version stays 0.0.0.0and the app asks to install the driver again and again

what rom are you using? I had that issue on one of the sphinx versions, though i can confirm it works with the Stock AT&T and sphinx v1.6 for the E980, as well as sphinx V2.0

I am using sphinx 1.6. have tried every method but could not get this to work, the driver doesnt get installed, although the sound libs are copied right
Please any suggestion
Are you using Sony walkman. I had the same issue before ... I did everything that was suggested but didn't work... found out that v4a didn't like the sound enhancement apk I was using with it ..

use latest version from here also please check audio_effects.conf in /system/etc there should be line like this v4a_standard_fx with uuid number
