Frens,
As the title self-explains, can anyone please bring in official AOKP support
for Note II. I am in fact really surprised to see that there is no official AOKP support for this beast yet

It's here http://aokp.co/supported-devices/?id=63&device=t0lte. The Nexus 7 3G Tilapia has a new build 6 dated 26 Mar 2013, so I believe there should be a build 6 for Note 2 LTE soon. I'm using build 5 for a few weeks, it's great.

he probably meant for the N7100
Guys,
Thank you very much for the replies. But, yes, i meant for International version of Note II. That is N7100.
Finally,
We have this great developer victorator maintain an unofficial port of AOKP for
Galaxy Note II N7100... Cool...

This is what Sammobiles's FB page says,
- UPDATE NEWS - Just chill and be happy Samsung will update your GALAXY SII and Note to Android 4.1.2 included new Touch-Wiz Nature UX.
Samsung started since December the development of Android 4.2.1 updates Galaxy S III #SGS3 1/2.
Android 4.2.1 also for the Samsung Galaxy Note II 2/2. Release begin Q2.
https://www.facebook.com/SamMobileOfficial
No need for 4.2.1
Just let Samsung update directly to 5 KLP. 4.2.1 has nothing to offer to us. Battery sucked big time too in Nexus devices.
Be happy to have a fully stable and full af features phone.

Until the OP offers more details, he/she has some working options from which to choose.

It you're not interested in getting rid of the s-not, why are you in a thread that inquires about getting rid of the feature? Your question is irrelevant as the s-note feature is just ONE OF MANY features that people get this phone for. I can't answer the op since we need more details regarding what his true intention is.

My two cents...I would be very surprised if we don't get 4.4 officially. It is technically a minor version bump.

...Not as minor as 4.2 -> 4.3. UI drastically changed (not just the launcher) and they decided to make a universally available Launcher called Google Experience, so you see Google is determined to make KitKat a large step forward.
But yeah, based on this point (universal, unified experience) and Google's saying of "making the best experience for everyone", I can say that we're going to get KitKat in one way or another (I don't personally care if Google decides no official release, AOSP is always there). Plus, who said we need 3.4 or even 3.8 kernels to run it (any RELIABLE sources)? Many older devices run JB 4.1 and even 4.2 nicely with 2.6.xx kernels. Many 3.4, 3.8 and even 3.1x features are being backported too.

I'm surprised that you're this delusional, personally I'm planning to rollback to 4.1, the recent versions of android is just too choppy for my liking, ram management is horrible too.

Well, I have had nothing but a well-running Nexus on 4.3 for the last little while, so it really sucks to hear you're having problems. I appreciate a discussion here, but starting off a reply by calling someone "delusional" seems a bit rude and harsh, no?

Look i don't know about Linux Kernel, etc..
But i just saw that the 3.8 is officially discontinued.
3.4 is continued until October 2014.
So i think the next Kernel version for Android will be the 3.10 (long term: until September 2015) not 3.8.
By the way....a Nexus 5 with 3.10 kernel would be pretty nice. But it seem it will be 3.4.
Source
I remember when 3.0 was released (after the 2.6.39), Linus Torvalds said exactly this:
"So what are the big changes? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. Sure, we have the usual two thirds driver
changes, and a lot of random fixes, but the point is that 3.0 is
*just* about renumbering, we are very much *not* doing a KDE-4 or a
Gnome-3 here. No breakage, no special scary new features, nothing at
all like that. We've been doing time-based releases for many years
now, this is in no way about features. If you want an excuse for the
renumbering, you really should look at the time-based one ("20 years")
instead."
I post that, only to say that sometimes numbers mean nothing..3.4 is a stable kernel, there isn't a big difference that you can see in the daily use with 3.10..really
Lets pray, for kitkat on our phone..!!!

I thought the new nexus an kitkat would have been launched by now, everything has gone quiet now an the hype has gone, iOS7 is keeping me amused for now, the kitkat screenshots look like google got a lot of their inspiration from apple an iOS7, just hope the nexus 5 is as good if not better than iPhone 5s.
