[Q] T999 modem for i747 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Anybody flashed a TMobile modem to an AT&T i747 successfully?
I have an unlocked i747 that I wanna use on TModile straighttalk and I'm getting a "network error". It's not saying "invalid sim" so I'm thinking the phone is legitimately unlocked.
My only other idea is that the modem isnt finding the TMobile towers. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!!

Are you using the proper apn?

In short - no, there are libraries that need to be copied over with the apks. Also, you may get better responses in the actual t-mobile GS3 forum.

Follow instructions in this thread to unlock your S3. I have done it, and it works fine (as long as you follow everything).
Pretty straight forward.

[Q] USCC Galaxy S3 Flash to Cricket - Please Help

Hi -
I'm looking at purchasing a used USCC Galaxy S3 and have a few questions:
1 - Is it possible to flash any clean esn/imei USCC S3 over to Cricket? If not, is there anything to look for? (ie model number, Android or firmware version, etc).
2 - Is there anything that cannot be flashed over? (ie - I assume 4G isn't, unless I have a new 4G SIM card for it - but anything else that won't flash like MMS?)
Thank you - I would love to purchase this phone but if I end up not being able to flash I'm out a new phone for quite a long time.

[Q] Unlocking Rogers Note 2 running Cleanrom ACE 4.9

Hello folks!
I have a Rooted Canadian Carrier rogers galaxy note 2 flashed with Clean ROM ACE 4.9.0 and running android 4.1.2....
Basically I want to sell it to a person who is going to use it on WIND MOBILE (AWS freq carrier)...and i have no idea if this is going to work with the hardware provided on the board or do i need to flash the wind modem to this phone.
below thread talks about US phones:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34661189
not sure if this applies to me, i have seen local ppl doing it without a problem...
If someone had that experience (a step by step procedure) and would like to share this please do so, as I don't want to pay for the unlock but wanted to do it myself:fingers-crossed:
please let me know! :crying:
As far as I know rogers is gsm and requires a sim card. Whats your model number? This area is for the sprint cdma l900. You might want to look in the att or tmobile forums. Goodluck

Since this question hasn't been answered, no you won't. S-ON isn't what is keeping the phone from being a GE phone, it's an entirely different device model. You could at that point, however, install custom recoveries and ROMs that are based on 4.4.2.
Correct. He'll get 4.4.2 when VZW pushes it out. But we have numerous 4.4.2 ROMs, including a GE version.
