[BOUNTY][DEV][MOD] Lets get bubby323 a phone. // Crt Off Animation

Here in XDA we do not encourage [BOUNTY] due past horrid experiences many people were victim off.
Thus in most other section of the forum [BOUNTY] are actually illegal to say the least.
However if the [BOUNTY] are for a good cause it'll be allowed under a few conditions.
- The [BOUNTY] is to be donated directly to the DEV
- The [BOUNTY] will only be donated when the DEV work is complete
- You are not allowed to make demands to the DEV
- You can't promote yourself for a [BOUNTY]
- The Dev's work must be creative/original development, not just ported-themes, modified stock ROMs or kanged ROMs
- Must be Recognized Developer or at least have a good well known reputation in XDA

It's been proven successful for other developers looking to work on the T-Mobile Galaxy S II, so why not bubby? Not to mention his name is bubbbbbbbeh!

Please DO NOT try to flash the Crt Off Animation on a non-deodexed rom. If you haven't flashed a rom yet, you need to do so before flashing that mod.

I already have a working overclock and undervolt, and a team put in place for Cyanogemod. My kernel hacking is almost complete and when the correct source with the right drivers is released I will release it.

Who's fake? Just wondering and I think its great that everyone is coming together and all these great devs put there time in thanx to u bubby, whitehawx, roman. We are going to see some great **** with these guys whitehawkx and roman tear it up with bad ass roms and lockscreens can't wait to see your stuff bubby will donate when I can soon!

Impossible unless htc wants to give us the source code for htc sense. The open sense sdk. Is for the most making sense more usable for making apps specifically for sense.

I used to be pretty close to you guys when I lived in West Lafayette (Fort Wayne before that). But I moved to NC in December, couldn't take another midwest winter. I thought you had a phone coming to you bubby?

Why.?

I wanna know why Devs. Criticize new devs. Creations and say all you did was build from a stock rom. That's all any dev does. No dev has actually made a rom without using the epics base except for maybe CM team. All devs do is build from stocks and add features that we can download ourselves. I'm not dissing any devs. I'm just saying stop criticizing new devs. And respect their effort. You have to start small to become big.

I got mine ready!

Its not all new devs that are criticized. What you and your team need to do is make a rom with something that is not just the exact same thing as stock with a theme and beats flashed. You need some kind of interesting features rather than just doing stock and adding a few flashable zips like beats in. Maybe you need some themers and other developers to provide features and an experience that is not already on the epic. Again, you also need to give credit in the op. Just take a bit more time on the next rom and provide something unique and everyone will get off your back. Please dont take this post the wrong way. I dont mean anything rude.

And to Androp; you know from my posts that I am a peace-loving non-confrontational kind of guy, but your efforts so far leave people feeling uneasy. Go to the mods, get set up properly, have testers try out your work, and then post. Like Xboxfanj said, if you offer something unique or different, you will get a much better reaction. "If you build it, they will come". I think if you look through our history, you will find OG Epic to be the greatest community on XDA. And as Marcusant, Kenny and I have stated, we have standards, and we are all about following protocol.

The word developer is loosely used. Changing around some preloaded apps, adding a 3rd party launcher and tweaks someone else coded, and a new theme does not make someone a developer. Maybe a modder at best.
Show me the code you hacked. Put it up on github for anyone to inspect.
There are actually only a few real developers around here. Then we also have plenty of "developers" who just compile other people's work without actually contributing any new code. I appreciate their work, but they are not developers.

My roms do not have features you can just add yourself...... I wrote some of the speed tweaks myself. I also modded certain parts of the framework (smali, etc.). I went through and optimized every single apk and modified some libs for speed... The reason that people did not like your work was that you gave absolutely no credit and STOLE my work and renamed it for wakerom. This is not accepted here... if you came with a legitimate ROM, people would not argue.... I also code my own kernel (see my github) . My first ROM (the old marcusantrom I believe) had framework mods and actually ported some things from the nexus and added Res mods myself and made my own theme.. I always attempt to keep a good OP structure and grammar (point out mistakes if you want to). Also, after putting out a ROM, make sure you know everything about it (have your developer post the ROM).
Heck, I didn't even consider myself a developer until I did my kernel and I still did more than your 'team'.

This is true about Touchwiz. All the development has been done. And thankfully all the great devs that created or ported these mods posted the code to allow a modder like myself to incorporate all those mods (if you know how to find all the code, decompile and compile). This is called cooking a ROM and not developing in anyway. This is why Marcus is a recogniSed Developer and I am a recogniZed contributor. But as I told you in a bunch of PMs credit and thanks are most important info. If you truly knew what you wete doing you would have known what mods were in the ROM and who to credit and thank. There is still a demand for properly cooked TW ROMs as 2500 downloads tell me.

We implement mods to those games, but we studied the way of creating roms. Not every rom is gonna be perfect and not every rom is gonna work. That's why its called testing guess. Testing and feedback let's us know what we need to fix in our rom.

Agreed, I PMed you and meant no disrespect when I said we should change the name. 12 many is an excellent themer and Its my opinion that is a compliment for him to offer himself up to any team. I don't post as often as I should on account of a big family that keeps me busy and I toodon't feel much gratitude when I work hard on something and post it. But I would also love to join the team if you would have me. I have a large array of editing tools including cs5 for editing .9pngs, Photoshop, smali,baksmali, apk tool 2, java, zip signer, boot animation creator/factory, etc.. Hit me up if you're interested.

Universal Multipurpose ApkTool that decompiles and recompiles ICS apps, backsmali/smali jar and dex files and much more.
This is tool created by xavierjohn22 and modified/updated by me.
Has been tested on few different phones.

I love this thread. I hope people would take the time to put together little small projects for people like myself who are amazed by what you developers do. When I say small projects, I mean like show us how to change our pull down taps...little mods. Again thanks for the thread.

[ROM] TEAM REJECTZ Purple Galaxy

Let me start off by saying that not I nor anyone from team rejectz is responsible for any damage you do to your phone flash at your own risk ..
Now....I would like to introduce the purple galaxy ROM. None of this could be possible without the help of LorJay he has helped my vision mold into something great so thank you for all your hard work Patience and kindness you have displayed to me. Thank you to all of team rejectez for welcoming me with open arms. Thank you to all of those involved and all that flash and support this ROM!

How to flash
1.boot into safe recovery
2.nandroid back up
3. Recommended that you flash everything! Start fresh
4.flash purple galaxy
5.reboot and enjoy

Let me also say if your not a reject your lying to yourself, all of us here are different in our own way and half of the ish we say to people have them staring at us like wtf did you say I dont understand lol
This is why we are here and help eachother learn I am not a dev or themer but I know these phones and sytems because I am here and have asked!

First off, congrats musikalharmony on your debut. Welcome to the team.
BigRitz, I would like to say thank you for that comment. Just because there are some other devs currently not here doesn't mean they don't have other eyes and ears watching for them. Every once and a while they come back and make a post. One of the devs you mention was my original influence, and also I consider him my friend and mentor. Lately there has been talk of ... Well sry but its top secret. Would tell you but id have to track down and kill all who read this lol. Anyway congrats again musikal.

Well looks like you did pretty good for your debuts. Granted purples not my thing but just by looking at it I can see how much time and work you put into this and that's awesome. Now the wife on the other hand, she likes purple and if I wasn't afraid of loosing my manhood I would flash this while she is asleep. I'll wait and let her look at it first. She hates when j mess with her phone while she's asleep. Even if she does like the end result.
So keep up the great work. I really think you are gonna do some cool ****. You stared with a bang no doubt about it.
