[Q] (Question)Coredroid 6.7 boot loop

Hi all,first post on this fantastic site so forgive my errors.I have a desire (Ace) hd and am running coredroid 6.6 with mdj kernel works fine i love the rom and have tried most of them but coredroid suits my needs.Anyway when flashing 6.7 i get a boot loop on the htc logo,i am running cwm 3.0.2.6 and have used the fullwipe.zip as i always try to do a clean install am flashing from cwm not rom manager (i dont think it`s on there yet) Have tried 4 times to install this rom but no luck,have run cyan,leedroid and miui in the past with no flash issues,last but not least could it be a bad download as i can usually sort this stuff out myself but am stumped on this one,cheers sorry for the long post.

It could be a bad download of the ROM.
Try checking the MD5 of the zip file u downloaded.

Md5 is B7C65800E29C9BD629C78FB7D105CC7A it installs as usual just bootloops,might try another download to check,thanks for your reply.

Duh, always the simple things,just a reminder folks if you rarely have a bad download it does`nt mean you wont have one,thanks Zulmacher for opening my weary eyes.

[Q] Sene 3.5 Seems not Working for me

Hello,
I tried to install several Sense 3.5 Rom's. But everytime it stucks on the "htc logo" or the Bootvideo plays again and again. When I try to install a another kernel, I come to the Bootvideo, but not into the Rom.
My Specs so far I know:
Marvel
S-On [Bootloader Unlocked]
Current Rom (If needed): Cyanogenmod 7.2

if u installed cm 7.2 from this post (like me)
check tha part 3 - 5, note.
so u need that boot zip on your sd, and after u installed 3.5 in recovery u must run this boot zip too, before u reboot your phone

Only the Boot.zip? And what does it make?

Here try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1503162 ,download the DEODEXED ROM and nothing else..
1-backup your curent rom
2-in recovery wipe data,cache and in advance go and wipe dalvik cache
3-install zip from sd card,choose zip(ROM) and flash it
4-reboot and wait for it to finish,dont panic if the first boot takes up to 5,6 minutes...its even longer with some roms
5-complete install wizzard on startup and you are good to go

I tried to install this Rom. But it keeps on the white htc logo, then it vibrates, screen goes black and then the htc logo appears again, again and again.
I think it's Kernel Panic, right?

if u installed that cm what i have linked, it wrote that u need allways to run that boot.zip if u have done that tutorial.
with that zip u can avoid to stuck in boot

Ok. But I already have CM 7.2 installed, will this work with every rom, or only CM?

every rom. at least it worked for me with 3.5

So I only need the boot.zip nothing else? I'll try it and give you a feedback

Use this one

Both won't work. It keeps on the white htc logo, then turns it off and back on, again and again.. I really wanted to have Sense 3.5.. so sad..

i tired many 3.5 too and this was worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1503426
did u try this?

Have many issues. But what does mean "internet pass through"?
When i have WLAN und Mobile internet, I would take this.
Edit: Do you know if this rom, you posted above, works with Data2sd froom Jikantaru? I hope so.

[Q] Problem with JellyTime

Hello,
HTC Desire HD with ClockWorkMOD and JellyTime
Sometimes the phone go in black screen. When I reboot the phone, after the JellyTime animation I've got a black screen. I need to remove the battery and connect it to the PC for have the ClockWorkMOD.
But when I'm on this menu I don't know what I need to do !??
I use wipe DalvikCache and wipe cache partition. And I reboot but nothing. Now I have an Android menu with "Lauching application", infinite loading.
I'm very frustrate because I already erase all data five times before and it work. But now I wan't to find a real solution !

I use this rom : cm-4.3-20131012-Beta5-ace.zip
And for Gapps : gaaps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
I going to redownload the rom, but when I go on the official thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778202 and I chose the Beta 6, the file is not found !

Try flashing ROM without the GApps,if it boots perfectly then there is issue remain gapps only!
You won't find Beta6 due to some issues download link was broken and its not available.
Make sure you're flashing correct updated GApps accodring to version of OS. I think your problem lies somewhere in rom or gapps so try with flashing some other ROM and it won't be any problem.

Dude,no worries at all.
Are you S-ON? or S-OFF?
For your kind of information booting ROM without GApps won't cause you any trouble!!
Anyone here will give you only advice,do it or not to do it, It's only depends on you.

[Q] Bootloops on every rom Note 2 GT-N7105

Hello!
I recently got a Note 2 (GT-N7105)
And for some silly reason wich even disappoints myself i wanted to overclock , well that didn't make sense i know but however i did it! and directly after i installed the required file (I don't remember wich one but it was for 1.8Ghz) after the installing my phone kept showing the boot logo , i tried to use my backup but even after restoring it didnt boot! I cleaned everything wich also cleaned my backup...
I been on it for about 7 hours now trying different roms , kernels , and every file i could find but nothing helps.
I now installed Cyanogenmod using CMW but even that bootloops.
The last thing i could notice is CMW showing me a E: failed to Mount /efs (Invalid argument) Wich makes me worry even more...
I honestly hope there are some good peaple who could help me with this... Finally got a great phone and by stupid mistakes i made it won't work anymore..
I don't care what rom gets on it , Even if its a hello kitty rom u won't hear me complain , If the phone works again i'll be happy!
Not sure if this helps but its a GT-N7105 , i know it had the newest android there was (4. something, i think it was 4.3)
Odin does see the device , My CMW (6.0.4.1) works and Download Mode works.
I hope anybody can help me!

Ok, so what I would do.
I would wipe data through CWM.
Download official ROM from sammobile.com and flash it through Odin.
I hope this will help to get the phone booted.
After that we will worry about imei recovery.

Try mskips toolkit from skipsoft.net. It has a recovery package that should do the trick. There is a thread on it on here but i think it's closed due to Microsoft signature issues

I have the same problem, I'm on 4.3 version and tried to downgrade to 4.1.1 and went back to 4.3, I formatted the system through twrp with NO OS INSTALLED to be sure it is totally cleaned but all the way, I still experiencing reboot issue.
At first I encountered unfortunately systemui has stopped, done rooting and fixing permission but still no luck.
One more thing, I already flashed pit file.

(Update , I tried anything i could but it didnt work out , its going to Samsung Support)

Flash right bootloader, then install fresh rom. Should be good to go.

You installed a kernel right? To over clock? First flash new bootloader, then flash stock kernel, then again flash stock rom, do not let the device boot up before you have done all three.

I tried Agni pure kernel and followed your instructions but no avail,I think there is problem with the board,because when I wipe, the SuperSu also erased.

I said to install stock kernel not custom kernel, and after wipe when you install stock rom you will loose root and also loose all data and apps from previous rom anyway.

yup I already did that,I flashed stock kernel from http://opensource.samsung.com/.I know reflashing stock rom will delete everything including root.
What I mean is when Im rooted and tried to wipe the phone, SuperSu also deleted.Im wondering that I have a corrupted emmc, It seems that it is not mounted correctly, although I tried to flash a pit file already.

[Q] third party roms wont install

does anyone know what could cause the fact that i cant flash any kernels or roms onto my wildfire s. It is rooted and unlocked flashed with clockwork recovery. I just need something to speed it up a bit its too laggy.

Could you be a bit elaborate.......like what ROM you tried to install and exactly how you tried to install it. It would help.

i used clockwork and rom manager to try to install, as well as made sure all the caches were cleaned
dust kernel 8.8 to 9.0
coolglass v.1
superior sence v4 deodex

you may try to install it through the recovery. Download the zip file, go into recovery, wipe data & cache, install the zip and reboot. See if it works.
By the way your device is not CDMA right because the rom you tried will not work there. Also by not installing what exactly happens?

i used both and i dont believe its cdma it is a sim phone unlocked and im useing it on a another provider.( it was on bell but im useing on telus up here in canada)

So by not installing what happens? When you install it it shows some error? Or it installs but would not boot? Also if it shows some error in recovery please mention it. And another way is to try another recovery like TWRP.

it installs as far as i can tell and when the device reboots it stays on the htc boot screen and says nothing more then htc. No errors pop up no bricking nothing

It is bricking but just soft bricking. At first it should take some time during first boot but not more than 5-10 minutes. Are you sure you gave that time. and another alternative would to try with a different ROM. For gingerbread you may try sense 3.5 or any other rom.
