[Q] Problem with Viperx 2.7.1 - Sense 4.1 rom - HTC One X

Hi all:
I have a couple of problems with this rom. It happens that when I start several times when starting HOX opens automatically remember the contact list and stays there frozen. No response back button nor the menu. Just press the start button is minimized and a message that says "loading" and then show the wallpaper, etc..
Another problem I have is that I can not run the sweep2wake. Using the kernel that comes in the rom.
In addition, the keyboard has a bug that when writing appear as stripes so for a second. Imagine watching a movie units that is scratched.
Finally, maybe it microsim problem, but since I installed this rom is preventing me I will use 3G coverage, etc.. And it costs too much to return to the. At least, this did not happen in the Android Revolution HD rom.
I do not want to leave this rom as I liked, and everything aesthetically, etc.
Anyone can help me?
Regards :good:

I haven't got any fixes for your problems but have you tried flashing the latest Viperx Rom? 2.7.1 is a bit outdated now, its upto 3.4.0.
I've been using 3.4.0 for a couple of days now and have had no problems at all

Hello. Thanks for responding. Well, I installed this version of the Viperx because for my cid BSTAR301 is impossible to run the 3.4.0 version that you have in your hox. It's a shame for me to have this cid since I'm limited to more advanced test other roms with JB and sense 4 +: (

WiFi issue with ADHD

Hi, I used to use ARHD 6.x.x and I noticed that I could not locate my home WiFi (always out of range, even when beside the router). At the time I thoyght it may be a router issue, until I tried the IceColdSandwich Rom, which found my WiFi with no problems, and seemed to have an amazing range. I just went back to ARHD 7.0.0 (I'm a big sense fan ) and once again I cannot find my home WiFi (just my home network, not any others), does anyone have a possible solution/fix for my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Note: I've tried all the "WiFi fixes" on the market, none have helped

Full wipe and new flash?!
I've tried that before with no luck :/ even went to the point of redownloading the rom

Try using another kernel?
are there any you can recommend? I've tried a few but none seemed to resolve the issue

If possible use the kernel from rom that worked. If think it's lordmod kernel. Im using it.
the kernel I am using is an ICS kernel, but I'll try using the Lord mod sense kernel (if I can find it)

AOSP kernel will not work on Sense ROMs. Or it wilk but you'll giant issues with it, like your wifi or data and system apps force closing. You can browse the dev section to get a sense kernel.

Hi if u use the rcmix v4.0 ROM it is just like sense with tweeks.it's a great rom nd I have never had any problems with the wifi nd it is by far the best rom for desire hd in my opinion.and in the tweaks u can change the kernel aswel.

I've never tried it, but I'll give it a go
edit: I don't think it's a kernel issue now, and it may not be the rom either, I tried the latest official blackice rom, and i couldn't find my home wireless network, but I found others. it's very confusing as it has always worked perfectly fine before
edit 2: okay so I pretty much cycled through every available rom for dhd and the only ones that had wifi working were the ICS ones (unless specifically stated that wifi was not working). gingerbread seems to hate my home wifi now for some reason. anybody have any ideas why?

sorry for the double post, just wanted to bump it and let you all know that the problem has been solved the channel on ny router (which was set to auto) was on channel 12, seemingly undetectable by by gingerbread but detectable by ics, so I just changed it to a compatible channel thanks for all the help though!

[Q] Cyanogen 10 nightly scroll problem during charging

I have recently installed cyanogenmod 10 on my HTC one x phone and experienced scrolling(main menu, web browsing, notification drawer bar, etc) problem when charging the phone.
Is any one there having same problem?
I have also searched before and couldn't find a way to fix the issue.

I have the exact same problem with my one x running cm10. But I also had it when using stock rom... But on the stock rom i could disable the cpu frequency setting in the Hidden Settings app, but I apparently can't use it in cm10 :crying:

it's annoying, not working well, I mean it's very slow and not smooth at all, but when I unplug the charger every thing goes well and smooth
my charger is working very good, even I returned back to my original rom (4.0.4 + HTC sense) there was not such problem
No one knows what this bug is and how to overcome?:banghead:

[Q] No sensors working after reboot.

Hi, Im currently on the stock JB with a CID 001. My problem is that once I flash a rom none of my sensors work, after a few times holding the power button for a reboot they will start to work again. Im able to calibrate the G sensor in settings while they work but if I turn off my phone they will stop working.
This started happening after I updated to JB, I have tried using ARHD and Maximus with no difference. Each time I flash a rom they work but after they phone turns off they stop working, not just a few its all of them.
Any suiggestions please?
Just in the middle of updating my hboot to 1.39 so hopefully this helps
EDIT: after re flashing with maXimus 11 and hboot 1.39 the sensors didn't work. I restarted the phone holding the power button but that didn't help, done it again only holding the up button when the htc screen appearing when rebooting.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Also im going to install the two OTA updates here and see if the sensors will still work after these.
Installed the first update and the sensors stopped working and then installed the second and they started working again. I think once I turn off the phone I won't be able to get them to work again. Sorry about all the posts but I'm trying to give as much information as possible.

My phone ran out of battery there for the first time since I flashed the rom so was the first time the phone has been rebooted since the updates. Now the sensors have stopped working again. I have tried rebooting several times, Killing all tasks using the task manager then rebooting but nothing. The only way to get them going again is to re flash the rom. Any help please?

Any help at all? I haven't had any sensors since the last update which is pretty annoying. Thanks

I lost my gyro/compass/orientation at one point a few months ago... I tried several full wipes and different ROMs, nothing changed. However, what did fix 'em was when I relocked and flashed a stock O2 RUU to return it via my operator. Its been fine since.
So your saying the only thing to do is to send the phone back to O2 for a replacement? I opened my phone so I take it that's my warranty void anyways? But suppose I could always try. Thanks, also just compared my loud speaker to my brother phone and mine is awful compared to his

So after booting the phone into recovery and wiping the two caches and fixing permissions I was able to get the proximity sensor working after two reboots but after another it stopped working again. Any idea's?

No, sorry - I didn't send it back to O2, I flashed the RUU with the intent of doing so and that's what fixed it! Sorry for being confusing!
System problem, don't mention that.Flash another rom .That will be fixed.

I have already tried the European standard ruu along with maximus and arhd so unless I try the branded O2 stock rom. I will do this tomorrow. Thanks

If flashing an actual o2 RUU didn't work (I was a bit confused by your previous posts as you can't flash an unbranded RUU on a branded handset...) If that didn't work then its a hardware fault. Or at least a software fault that can't be fixed without the software they use in an hTC service centre.
My phone isn't branded but I got it of O2. I might just re lock it and send it back as I don't seem to be getting anywhere with this. Thanks for all your help but.

So after I rebooted my phone tonight all my sensors have started to work. I don't know what's happening here at all and I don't want to reboot or let my battery die incase they stop working again. I also noticed compared to my brothers one x his screen is alot brighter than mine?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
So I flashed the stock RUU and sent it away for repair and they just sent it back saying there was physical damage, Im assuming this is just that I have opened the phone. So there still isnt any sensors working, any ideas please?
I am experiencing the same problem with the sensors... still didnt find a permanent solution. I rebooted like 100 times, eventually they worked, then after a reboot they didnt.
I came across this topic, maybe it will help

HTC One X, AOKP ICS 3.5.1 Wi-Fi disconnecting

Hi,
I have AOKP ICS 3.5.1 ROM with franco r21 kernel installed on my HTC One X and I am having no end of problems with Wi-Fi. It will connect fine but then disconnects a few minutes later and I need to toggle Wi-Fi to get it working again.
Any ideas what to try? I don't really want to play around with ROMs again as I have everything just right and I have a decent battery life sorted now with DeepSleep. It seems that it's a common issue looking on forums but not sure if it's ever been resolved.
By the way, I don't really want to go to ICJ 4.x as I don't like Android 4.2....
Help?
Alex
Any ideas anyone? It seems to be more stable but still keeps connected when it wants to...
Use the stock kernel and it should work.

It's a bit hard to say, you have to experiment.
Try stock kernel (NCX).

Thanks for the responses, guys. When installing franco kernel, I flashed some modules in. Can I leave these or do I have to uninstall them somehow?

Super slow one v

I got this phone maybe 5 months ago and I rooted it and changed roms quite a few times but it is so unbearably slow now on stock Pac man 19.3 and newer versions and pretty much every Rom I've tried. Any ideas? Clearing cache and all that doesn't work it still lags randomly but to the point I have to reset it by holding the power button and any apps including browser freeze the phone. I also tried going to stock that didn't work either.

PacMan is an xtreme hybrid ROM, it's quite slow on devices like this. I suggest going with Shpongle or CM10 if you want an AOSP ROM, or myONEv or Beaver ROM if you want a fast sense ROM.
There's also ignorance now, very fast and stable
