[Q] Apps for reminders - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Alright so I was kind of wondering if anyone knew any good apps to set reminders with? I know you can with the original calendar but eh, I'm not a fan. Thanks in advance for your help!

Been using Calendar Snooze for years and love it because it uses Google Calendar
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitfire.development.calendarsnooze&hl=en

When i was studying for a big exam, i used days left widget pro. Like the name says, its a widget which keeps track of the day left, kept it on my home screen as a constant reminder

[Q] Evo weather app for incredible

The HTC Evo has a much better weather app. One of my friends has it and it has my local city, which I can't even find on accuweather in her weather app for sense. Also, I don't know if it is just my desk clock that is messed up, but when I click on the clock it shows the time and is supposed to show the weather beneath the time, but it doesn't show up, but if i click the space beneath time the time in the clock app then it opens up the weather.
i had the evo for a few months and now have the incredible.
i do believe they have the exact same weather app. i know that when i hit "clock" my weather is there.
i think something is wrong with your phone. maybe backup (nandroid) and hardreset.

I'm not sure if you can set the led to flash for emails on stock without an app.
I do know you can set this using the Light Flow app from the Market

For example

Same goes for power widget
I cange the brightness and the brightness changes normally but widget doesn't update itself

Did you restrict background data on any of those apps?
Are you using a task killer?
Both of these things can stop widgets from updating.

Reader Ticker Widget Replacement

Does anyone know a RSS replacement for Google reader specifically with a scrollable card style widget? I now have a void on my home screen and an emptiness in my heart now that Google has stopped the reader service. I have spent years with this app and have become accustomed to its usage. I'd prefer a flickable one as opposed to one with arrow buttons to scroll. Any help please??? Screens show the widget I was using and the giant hole left behind

I really do like feedly also. They have a couple widgets, but they are under construction right now and un usable. I can only hope that they add this style.

The app is so understated in this thread! This app is seriously gorgeous. The UI makes me so happy and what's great is you can set different themes for each section of the app ie: alarm, clock, timer/stop watch.
DID I MENTION CLOUD SYNCHING?! yeah if you have multiple devices the notifications, alarms, and themes all sync across devices. Hit snooze on your phone your tablet goes on snooze as well. Kill the alarm from your tablet and the phone does the same thing. Set an alarm on one and it gets automatically pushed to the other device.
The alarm options have different things you can do to turn the alarm off such as shake, puzzle solving, or pattern tracing, and math (I personally hate doing math in the morning) although those features, along with the theming and syncing options are premium, at the moment everything is unlockable by referring friends to the app or with an in app purchase. I pulled the trigger and spent the 2 dollars.
This app has replaced default clock app and imo is the beat clock app out there atm.

Wow, this alarm really is nice. Usually I'm against people spamming their referral links, but I'll make an exception in this case. It's a thoughtful way to get the paid features for free, and this is something that deserves to be shared, regardless of the referral system. Thanks op!
I really like the UI of this app, looks so sexy

One problem, it sucks as an alarm! It woke me up half an hour early today. 4:00 a.m. vs 4:30 a.m. is a big freaking difference. I did another test and again it went off half an hour early. I also had the ramp up set for only 5 seconds, but it was almost a minute before I could hear anything. It's beautiful, but &$#@ed up.

Come to think of it, the alarm tone was wrong too. How could it have been so off? The only setting that was right was the day of the week.

On the alarm you set up, un-check "smart rise". Read the info, it clearly states it will start waking you up 30 minutes early.
Not the app's fault, user error.

One hell of a nice alarm.
I shared it on Google+ last night and within ten hours I had thirty referrals and got all the paid features unlocked for free. Very smart way of advertising if you ask me.
Works across both devices very well and has dashclock and daydream support. I never thought I'd replace alarm clock xtreme so quickly but I have.
Go give it a try.
Even works on x86.
couldnt it be made such that it replaces the inbuit clock app??
Apparently own custom sounds aren't possible?
Nice looking and easy to use though.
Very cool looking!

I looked around for a directory with the ones it uses. Hoping to add to it. Didn't find one. Hopefully they'll add this ability.
