For example
If a music widget is playing a song and displaying which song is playing but when. I click the next button it Changes the song but doesn't change the song displayed on the widget.
Same goes for power widget
I cange the brightness and the brightness changes normally but widget doesn't update itself
Please help

Did you restrict background data on any of those apps?
Are you using a task killer?
Both of these things can stop widgets from updating.

im using the Virtuous Unite rom and for some reason my clock has just stopped updating so i tried to reboot but that didnt work, so i also tried a reboot taking the battery out for 30 seconds but that didnt work either so now i have an out of date time on my phone...
also i cannot go to the app store or use a few apps that require the clock to be right.
does anyone have any ideas?
Is this the default clock in the notification bar, or a widget on your home screen?

Alright so I was kind of wondering if anyone knew any good apps to set reminders with? I know you can with the original calendar but eh, I'm not a fan. Thanks in advance for your help!
Been using Calendar Snooze for years and love it because it uses Google Calendar

When i was studying for a big exam, i used days left widget pro. Like the name says, its a widget which keeps track of the day left, kept it on my home screen as a constant reminder

Settings->Developer options->Windows animation scale->Animations off
Also disable other animation options below that.
Now try if it still lags. I have it still enabled but there's no lag for me - but I'm on custom ROM.
tried doin it... bt still lags...

Install Nova Launcher from Playstore and try again - it should at least fix the app drawer lag.
Dont have any lag or other problem here..

it known issue , lets hope 4.2.2 update will fix it
edit : BTW i mean the notification drawer lag , i don't have any lag in the apps drawer even with many app running in the background
Turn Power Saving Mode off if you have it on.
Hi,
Use all of the suggestions here and try Crossbreeder.
It's similar to Seeder but with more added twists.
Hope this helps.
my power saving mode is always off...
also whnever i am listening songs from music player nad go to my home screen and pull my notification bar it lags very much showing the now playing notificatiom

What's with this notification lag for some? I have none at all on mine.
Try removing unwanted toggles and use toggle control from app store to add more. Does that work? I have no idea since I've never encountered lags except a micro-lag immediately after waking up from deep sleep/boot. Consider rooting IMO.
now last option..
waiting for the 4.2.2 update at may end.. thnks to samsung... hope it works.. if that doesnt works den i ll go for rooting

The stock ROM is substandard. CM doesn't have most of these problems. However there is still constant lag evewhere but better than the stock ROM.
music app stops after swiping recent apps is it normal?
Yes.

You are closing your music app, of course the music will stop playing.
My dad owns an xperia m it doesnt happen in his phone and i mean that music playing in background stops i also know after swipe app closes but music should bt stop it doesnt even happen in cm11 on my old cell s2

I am also having this problem recently. Definitely did not used to happen. What is weirder is that if the swept it array the music stops but you can start it again by pressing the pause button from the notification bar.
Noticed ever since the 5.1.1 update rolled out, my music isn't full screen now, is there a setting I am missing that they added? Not rooted here

That image looks like the normal lock screen music widget.
It is a normal lock screen, but with the music app, play music, or milk, it used to be full screen album art

Noticed that too, I liked the full screen....bummer.
Full screen album art was removed in Lollipop.
