Hey all,
Got a big problem here, tried to flash my girlfriends HTC One V from the stock rom to a custom rom. I followed a guide on youtube but it seems to have gone pair shaped.
I tried to install the UJelly Rom, i followed all the steps, rooted the phone, go into recovery and so on but whenever i install a rom, wether it be the Ujelly or anything else, i get stuck at the boot up logo for each installation, so on UJelly i get the bounching logo and CM10 or CM9 its their own logo just on repeat and nothing else. I left one for an hour just in case it was slow but nothing.
I have tried all sorts so far but im completely stuck, i tried to find the correct RUU for it but nothing, 2 files i did find both had errors during installation asking me to find the correct RUU for my phone.
Its branded o2 UK and the CID was 02___001 from what i could find out through bootflash. The phone can always access bootflash and recovery without a problem but i cannot get further with roms. Even if someone could help me find the old original stock rom or a way that i can get this working id really appreciate it, the misses is starting to get annoyed now!
Cheers all

Have you flashed the kernel?? It won't boot up without that

If your phone is primou, I would suggest flashing the latest CM10 hellboy kernel which can be found here. http://www.mediafire.com/?waggdha1ir1lxz0
there's also a nifty little all in one toolkit which can be used to flash a kernel and more -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676686
it's pretty straightforward to use.

Try rebooting, if you still don't have it, try installing a sense rom, it shouldn't have problems

same problem with my htc one v gsm ....please help
Bootloop may caused by flashing wrong boot img. Never flash boot.img inside the zip package unless the dev told you so.
Only Chuck Norris can judge me
So what should I do now to making my htc one v alive??thanks
Hi,
I'm new to the ONE X, just switched from the Sensation. I've updated the firmware to 1.28.0000. I can instal all Sense ICS and JB ROMS with no issues but I want CM10, unfortunately I get stuck on the white HTC logo, even after flashing boot.img and erasing cache. What should I do, everything seems so much more confusing on this device!
Josh.
go to recovery and flash any sense based JB rom, Don't forget to flash the kernel through fastboot.
and if you want a working cm10 then you have to flash a kernel compatible with hboot 1.31.
but it has gps issue i guess.
search for the kernel in cm10 thread.. you will find it.
Alright, so I now have ARHD 13 installed and working fine. How should I go about installing a CM10 ROM without getting stuck? Thanks.
you need to flash the correct kernel. The one which comes with the rom would not work.
I guess its the mdeejay kernel which is working on hboot 1.31 but as i said gps is not working with it.

GPS isn't a biggie pour moi. Okay so when flashing a kernel, I need to flash the .zip first in recovery followed by flashing the boot.img in fastboot? Also I'm on hboot 1.28, not 1.31?
Just flash kernel modules in recovery then fastboot flash boot

Appreciated, I'll see what I can do. Only been able to find a 1.29 base Kernel, that should work?
Unfortunately I am still stuck at the white HTC screen after repacking the NCX-0.99 kernel. I've also cleared the cache multiple times.
No, there is a custom kernel that works with hboot 1.28+cm10, I believe its somewhere in the dev section.

I have a similar problem, phone was working fine and then all apps and processes (com.android.process) all crashed. I tried to clear cache data of all programmes crashing and reboot but the problem persisted. I decided that a factory reset might fix the problem but now my phone doesn't get past the logo screen. Any suggestions one how to fix this would be great, I have insurance so should I just get a new phone? Thanks in advance.

Follow solution 2. You need to relock the boot loader, download the correct ruu for the carrier of the phone, and then run the ruu.
Then, all back to stock. I imagine you are boot looping because when running stock, the update was taken that updates your radio (if you are CDMA) to something past the 521_2 radio.
Follow the directions to a t and good luck.

Well hello guys, first let me explain what happend.
Last sunday i rooted my HTC Desire HD and everything went well. First I installed the latest miui rom with desire hd support from miuiandroid.com . But then i heard more about jelly bean roms and today installed codefireX's R19 version of his rom. But when i found out that it did not work with whatsapp I decided to change back to miui. Since i had made a nandroid backup of MIUI I thought i could use that. And this is where the problems started appearing. I hit the restore button in my recovery and the restore was succesfull, but when it rebooted nothing happened. I got the HTC logo, but after that I got only a backlit black screen. Wich then went completely black with a little noise comming from my phone After a few seconds it rebooted again and went straight into recovery. I have tried all my nandroid backups, but none worked. I even tried flashing MIUI from scratch, but that only send me into a bootloop in wich i could see the MI logo and then nothing.
So whatever i do, it just wont boot. I can get into recovery and the bootloader, but nothing more. Please help me guys, i searched all over the internet but have not found anything like my problem. Have I broken my phone??:crying:
Hey guys, well after a lot of trying and patience if finaly got my Phone to work again:laugh:. I flashed android revolution and that booted right up. But i still wonder why Clockwork restore didn't work
did you unlock bootloader with the official htc tool? if you did, recovery cant restore your kernel, similar to when you flash a rom. in this case, you should be fine flashing kernel like you do when flashing a rom
if that is not the case, it is probably just a corrupted backup. it does happen sometimes
Hey there, which revolution HD did u use coz I flashed version 7.3 and it just stuck in a boot loop.... I wonder why.???

Is your bootloader unlocked? If so, have you fastboot flashed the boot.img?
Hey th0mas_, well I did use the htcdev way of unlocking my bootloader. So i guess that that is probably the whole problem. But just a noob question, how do i flash a kernel?? Tnx ahead guys, still a bit to anxious to flash a new rom though hahaha.
And to you gray, i just needed to have a lot of patience, after a few minutes of quietly brilliant. It just booted into the setup. But you do have to flash the boot.img first before it will boot.

If you are s-on, then recovery cannot install the boot.img. It seems you are s-off so the recovery can install boot.img so no need to flash the boot.img

No im s-on, so that was the problem. But i believe restore worked before. But thnx for the help.

You've done a full wipe؟؟؟؟
1 - full wipe ( with delvik + cache ) in recovery
2 - install your rom ( if your rom have problem try another rom)
3 - extract boot.img from your rom zip file and copy to fastboot folder
4 - and go to fastboot and type this command :
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
if again show error try with another rom
i hope solved
