is there somewhere I can go to get it or can someone post a nandroid of the original rom?

Go to sammobile.com click on firmware and search for t989. You probably have to sign up for an account though.

I apologize if this has already been answered, but I wasn't able to find an answer on the forums.
I was successful at flashing the CM6 stable ROM to my EVO 4g, but in order to do so I had to downgrade my bootloader to .76. I would like to restore my stock ROM using my nandroid backup, but it fails to load the boot image. Apparently this is because of a version mismatch?
Does anyone have the stock PC36IMG.zip file that I can download so I can restore the stock ROM?
Thanks!

Not sure if you really want the stock rom with all your settings back, or just want to go back to sense UI, but if it's the latter, here's the rooted stock rom to flash:

I would like to get the stock rom with all my settings/apps back, but I suppose I could try your link as a fallback if it's not possible.
First I want to say I'm sort of a nooh with roms. I flashed my phone to one of the new roms but having problems using a lot of the att services and most applications. I want to flash back to stock for the mean time but did not do a nandroid backup. Is there anywhere I can go to download the stock nitro rom? Someone please help!
Try the system.img here if you still need it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389041&highlight=nitro+stock+rom
Hi, I have stupidly flashed a ROM without backing up the stock ROM. I am hoping someone could forward me to the correct Stock o2 rom or point me to a stock nandroid backup. I cannot find other posts hosting the Stock o2 ROM or any backups (sorry)
Thank you very much, it was a lesson well learned

I can only flash with Odin.
I can't find the right rom to unroot and take the phone back to stock.
I'm on Tmobile USA version and don't want to flash the wrong file. Ther are so many out there, I don't know which one is the right one.
Someone please point me to the correct file to flash with Odin.
Thanks!

I sold my Note 2 for Sprint and I now just want to flash a stock Touchwiz ROM or near stock at least. I haven't used the phone in a few months and i've looked over the development forum but i'm unclear on what to flash. I remember seeing a stock ROM but I can no longer find it. I am currently on Dirty Unicorns 4.4.4, baseband L900VPAMA7. All I want is the easiest way to send my phone to the buyer with a stock or near stock experience. I want the easiest avenue because I do not want to brick the phone right before I send it out. I also have a nandroid of my first stock backup of Android 4.1.1 which I don't know if it is safe to flash. Can someone please steer me in the right direction? It would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the response.
From what I gathered and correct me if i'm wrong, simply flashing the MC2 Stock zip, it will unroot the phone and take me back to stock (what version of Android does it downgrade to? Will the phone be able to receive the updated versions of Touchwiz?). If I want to stay rooted, then i flash the root.zip file right after i flash the MC2 Stock zip? (Would this be able to get updates to Touchwiz?)
Are there any other alternatives to getting a stock experience?
I did this about 2 month ago and it went back to stock unroot...yes u will be able to update... also it u want to stay rooted then flash the root file right after before again before rebooting and it will stay rooted ...no if stay rooted u will not be able to get update.... If u reall wanted to stay rooted there's a few stock rooted rom .. link provided

If you have taken the ne2 ota or flashed it with odin DO NOT FLASH that file. If you have not taken the ne2 update than it is ok to use.
