From the looks of the pics it looks like the battery cover is slightly thicker than the stock cover, so it should protect the camera lens from scratching.

I dont think you could scratch the original one even if you tried. Its made of perforated plastic and is rough to touch anyway.

I think these might be cool for parties etc

Depending on the price I'd love to get a yellow and green one!

Yes please. Im interested in the White one and would love to see how it looks in real life.

Ordered a black one just because it has the Galaxy S II logo on the back
Should look nice with my translucent black TPU case.

Nice link, shame the only colour they seem not to do is the one I want (red)

I'd like to se e metal ones. Maybe somthing the same colour as the metal on the outer rim of the phone would look good.

I would be very interested in one if these if they played nice with the Zagg invisibleShield FULL BODY maximum coverage or easy install. The stock back has the texture which makes the invisible shields look like junk and peel.
Anyone want to be my guinea pig?? =D

If the price was right, it would be cool to be able to switch the back cover to suit the colour of your wallpaper. $13 seems a little steep though. If it had been $6 I might have gone for a couple.
Interested to see what they look like in reality though.

Quick review of Aluminium bumper case and Aluminium back door(High definition photos)

Hi guys.
It's not SZLF. (I thought it would be szlf but its not)
Quality is perfect . Easy to press buttons (Ease of pressing with out case 100%, With case 65%)
I also ask for GUN METAL color. I got ****ty light grey color.
My front is "silver" but the back is "light grey".
.....little disappointed.
But I'm not a petty person, (even If i payed tottaly 60$).....I left a good feedback.

I also order back door (Gun metal color), but is more grey-green than gun metal.
Door also is good quality, just slightly thicker. (1mm maybe)
Conclusion
Before you buying something from ebay...check the pictures first !!!
If the seller does not have pictures you better find another one.
DO NOT BELIEVE to words...

Great pics, thank you! Can you tell us by the feel, if the aluminium case feels solid in the hands and will it absorb shock if ever the phone fell on the ground? Is the phone tight inside the case or is it loose?

Its not that he wont do it, its that he cant. I believe that the bumpers and the new battery back cover cant be used at the same time. They dont fit together. Which sucks.

Thanks for the pics, I brought the same gray case but from oboStore. You pics make me wish I should ordered the black colour instead to blend in with my black Note.

Where did you buy it? I think it's from Korea..but I'm not able to find this bumper..

I was wondering the exact same thing just the other day. The blackberry pouches have a magnet to cater to its auto shut off feature. But seeing that the G-nex does not have this feature, would the magnet cause any internal damage?

I just received the item and the magnets seems to be strong enough to keep the cover closed but not to interfere with the phone. Plus the screen doesn't seems to be attracted by the magnets.
I'll post a review this evening.

It would.be.cool.if we could make this like the iPad and power on when opened.

i like the concept of these, but, not sure if i would like having to open something every time i would need to use my phone. not to mention i don't think i would like trying to talk on it and the flap covering half my face or credit cards falling out. and then i would have to pop it out every time i get in the car to put it in my dock.
cool idea though. i would consider it if it just had a cash-stash and cc slots on the back side without the flap

CASE REVIEW (a sort of)
PROs
- The phone fits perfectly in the case.
- The magnets don't seem to interfere with anything.
- The front cover bends without any problem and doesn't slap my face while calling.
- The screen is very well protected
CONs
- The plastic inner case doesn't have proper top and bottom sides leaving the phone quite unprotected there as you can see from the photos.
- The credit card pocket sewing can mark the screen, but it's nothing permanet.

A solution is to use the proximity sensor but I think that if it was feasible then someone would have already done it.

3D Tardis Case

Hey guys! Does anyone know of anywhere to purchase a Doctor Who Tardis Case for our Nexus 5 that is more than just a picture? I think it would be cool to have the case look like the Tardis but also have the squares/windows have a bit of texture to them to add some grip. Does anyone know if there's anything like this out there? If not, would anyone be interested if I started a kickstarter like campaign to make them for not just the Nexus 5 but others as well?

Ya I saw these ones. But I was wondering if people would be interested in a case that had depth to it. So instead of the back being smooth, it would actually have ridges and pockets and such. This way you have extra grip as well as a tiny Tardis Replica on the back of your phone. It would increase the phone's thickness but not by much.

That looks really nice! Maybe I will just do that. I drew up the tardis case in solidworks and I think im going to have a local shop 3D print it for me to see how it looks. It makes the phone a little thicker but not by much. They are less than $10 to have printed too! So I will see how the plastic looks and feels for a phone case.

So this is the kind of thing I was talking about. This is just a quick draw up of what im thinking. i will put more effort into the design if I end up making it into a case, but from here on it will take a lot of time probably and I don't want to move forward if i'm gonna only print one for me. If you all would be interested or know anyone who might be, then I would put some time into it. Let me know what you guys think!!

Other than that, the injection molding mark: you can see it clearly in the picture above on the red case (to the left of the speaker hole). If you've ordered one of our Nexus 5 cases in the past 3 months or so, or any of our S5 and LG G3 Cases, you probably received a case that had a similar mark on the bottom. This is where the plastic gets injected into the mold, afterwords a small mark is left. We used to put it on the bottom or top corner of our cases, or sometimes along the edge of the microUSB hole in an attempt to hide it. The factory recently figured out a new technique to make it a small dot on the bottom of the case instead of the larger and longer mark we had before. It looks a lot better than the old mark on the corner of the case did, but I know no one wants a mark on their case no matter how it looks. I'd love to put it on the inside of the case, but I'm told that isn't an option.

It kind of slides in my opinion, but then again of course it will since we're so used to the Sandstone being so grippy. But I don't really ever have the idea of my phone sliding out of my hand when using the Diztronic TPU. I'm really bad at explaining these kind of things but I hope that helps.

I don't have any issues with it.
