ARHD or wait for AOKP?

Should I wait for AOKP build 41 or is Android Revolution HD a really good jelly bean rom?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Wellllll I am waiting for AOKP but in the meantime I am running revolution because I just couldn't flipping wait and apart from all the awesome tweaks that AOKP has jellybean is amazing! So just flash it already bro

Sorry for the cross-board post...
But since AOKP is Rootz exclusive now I don't feel comfortable making a thread over here without their permission.

Why not try both and see what you like? AOKP P4 is in early stages and only has some of the goodies we've all come to love from AOKP. Android Rev is still good, but I can't stop using AOKP P4 as my daily driver :good:

Its ok I only want to post roms that are alway updated. if its been months scene a update I wont put it on the list
Just because its not "updated" doesn't necessarily mean its dead or not worth using.. Just my opinion.
Not knocking you in the slightest and i understand the logic behind it..

[ROM] [4.1.1] OFFICIAL codefireX Jellybean Nightlies

These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The codefireX github is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

[Q] Difference between [ROM] CM10/SGT7 & [ROM] [JB 4.2.1] CM10.1/SGT

I'm currently using [ROM] CM10/SGT7 [20121224] [Linaro] for my fire.
I notice that there is a ROM from the same developer, TWA_priv called:
[ROM] [JB 4.2.1] CM10.1/SGT7 [20130103]
I know that the CM10 is more mature, likely more stable, but the CM10.1 looks like it's getting all the new development.
Can anyone tell me if what the difference between the two ROMs is, and if the newer one is ready for prime time?

I'm using the second one you mentioned. It's based on 4.2.1, the other on 4.1.2 (I believe, could be 4.1.1). I'm really impressed with the work that TWA_priv has done, its a nightly build but has been very stable for me and super fast. Would definitely recommend trying out. If you don't like it you can always revert back.

So what's the difference between 4.2.1 and 4.1.2?
http://www.android.com/whatsnew/
That's for the stock 4.2.1 code, so obviously each ROM will have it's own flavor.
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using xda app-developers app
Thank you, but what I'm really looking to know is whether the CM10.1 is ready for prime time, or as a daily driver?

I am running Devil's, and it is pretty darn solid, and it is using Andreilux build I think, so you can actually get all the enhancement with your panel. You can get rid of saturated colors from Samsung. It also has pretty mature Kernel Configuration tools.
