Yes. Actually I haven't used any of the others lol but I've used all the other ROMs on several other devices and I've always been a fan of cna. Seems to be a great mix between aosp and cm10 without the unnecessary swagger

codename android great rom , plenty of options smooth and good battery life ... would have voted but not listed
Eclipse Rom by Nitroglycerine should be on the list, but either way, I'd vote for it. Not only looks great (black which saves some battery by not lighting up everything) but it has a ton of working features, unlike nearly every other ROM I read about in here. I can't think of any non-working functionality in this ROM.
You can get it here on XDA, (and that other forum), or eclipserom.com -
Need to include cna on the list

Do we really need this thread? There is never a "best" Rom. Everyone has different tastes. Different strokes for different folks. Try them all and make up your own mind.
Hate seeing threads that say one devs work is better than another's. They all work hard at sharing their work...for free.

It contains some CM tweaks if you read the Liquid ROM OP. Those CM tweaks are probably what's causing the bootloop. I'm assuming the ROM has to be pure AOSP based.

I'm not a dev nor do I have any dev knowledge, so I don't know. It's not the fact that it has "CM" parts in it that doesn't make it work, but CM has a tweak in there that makes this kernel bootloop. If AOKP also has the tweak, then it's going to bootloop as well.
Just make a nandroid and try it.

With morfic's blessing, here's the continuation of the Trinity kernel in another form for AOSP Jellybean 4.2.
This was originally mainly developed for the Verizon SGS3, but some requests for a different versions were sent in. This is a blind build as I do not have a T-Mobile unit to test with. However, it has been tested and should work on T-Mobile.
Some highlights:
Code:
- Based on CM10.1 source
- Built with latest Linaro GCC 4.7 with optis
- Ramdisk tweaked (init.d support, unsecure)
- OC up to 1.836Ghz
- Stock GPU (OC makes no difference)
- Undervolted
- User voltage control
- Trinity colors
- Defaults to tweaked ondemand governor and row scheduler.
-- Available for user
--- Governor
---- msm-dcvs, interactive, conservative, ondemand, performance, wheatley, smoothass2, badass, asswax, dancedance, smartmax, ondemandplus
--- Scheduler
---- noop, deadline, row, cfq, sio, sioplus, bfq, zen
- USB Fast Charge (credit to imoseyon and chad)
- fsync control (credit Ezekeel)
- Removal of mpdecision, uses tweaked auto_hotplug driver (credit to thalamus)
- Removal of thermald
- fix_permissions added to zip
- CM wifi tether WPA/WPA2 secure support
- Faux sound mod support
To install (no need to wipe anything):
- Download .zip below and place on your internal or external sdcard
- Reboot into CWM or the recommended TWRP
- Flash .zip
- Reboot
Notes:
- If you do not default to ondemand/row, check your /system/etc/init.d/ for startup scripts or the /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh file to see if it's writing interactive/cfq to the scaling_governor and the scheduler.
I've pushed my build towards battery savings and it's been handling duties pretty well. Let me know how it works out for you. As with all things custom, please take all precautions (backups). Tested against CM, AOKP, BB7 and Carbon so far. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
Feel free to use your preferred kernel app for adjustments.

I am not the Dev of this kernel. I am simply a fan who wishes to share this awesome kernel with my fellow T-mobilites. GideonX has graciously agreed to 'port' us a version he originally created for the Verizon GS3 for our devices.
I've been using it for about two days and it's been very responsive and very battery friendly.
As I stated, I am just the messenger and not the Developer. Give all the thanks, donations and kudos to him. Please post and bugs and feedback and I will pass them on to him. He is quite busy so no etas please. Please treat this as a development thread. Thank you.
So without any further ado, I present the awesome BMS Kernel...

Easiest way is to use a kernel app. I'm using Trickstermod from the play store, works just fine.
Edit: You can also turn it off and on by using terminal emulator and issuing either:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge (on)
or
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge (off)

These two are the smoothest ROMs I've ever seen. Vanir is more stock, and a bit faster imo. Atom is based on Vanir with some added options. I'm sure if you tried either one you won't be disappointed.

I used to use STOCK for a few days, it really is smooth, but the interesting thing that can make any rom fast as stock is just to optimize it according to your necessities and "trim" it one a week to fix reading speeds of the internal memory. (LagFix from Google Play does the job)
I have actually never tried the stock 4.2.2 ROM, I am always flashing atom, vanir, cm10.1, aokp, xylon, and all that.
vanir is the smoothest for me
Yes, stock rom is the smoothest.
In my opinion Galaxy nexus rom development is boring because all roms look like each other and at the end the stock is the best.
That's one of the reasons why people choose paranoid and their hybrid engine... to get something different! I love their job for bringing real innovations to android.

I highly recommend AK kernel. The development is very impressive. Both editions (Diamond and Rubik) are very stable and fast.

The Vanir-based ROMs are very highly-rated. They are praised for their raw speed (they're the fasted ROMs I've tried, and I've tried many). Team Vanir is a 5-man team that developed Vanir ROM. That's the one I'm running. However individual members of team Vanir have put their own spin on the Vanir base as well. PrimeDirective made Atom ROM, DHO made Commotio. Also Akellar, a member of AOKP, took the Vanir base and put AOKP customizations on it. That ROM is called AK47; it looks like AOKP but feels like Vanir.
