Is there any way of making the quality of this better ? The app opens up its own player so it doesnt stream as good as if it opened up in the HTC Video app. Still pretty great for a fiva a month!
Are you referring to the sky go app? If you're rooted you can stream from sky go by hiding root and then using the 3-finger swipe to stream.
The quality in sky go will take a moment to settle but you'll end up with a 720p picture which is isn't so bad.

It's not sky go theres a sky sports tv app. I am streaming that way... But the stream quality is not as good when it also plays on your phone, its better when it opens up in the HTC media player but sky force there own player

Is there an app that will play my videos 1 after the other ?
Basically have music videos that I want to play as music would. I'm sure Itunes can?

Meridian allows you to add videos to a play queue.

I hope this is not a dumb question but is there away to make flash videos in the chrome beta browser play in the video player? I'm wondering since flash will not come to the chrome browser. Flash video is still floating around the web on some sites so until html5 takes over everything, it is annoying switching to stock browser every time I want to watch a video. I have seen some videos, when you tap them it gives you a option to watch on the YouTube player. Is there away to make all videos give you the option to play on the YouTube player or some other video player?

Hi Folks,
I´m thinking about getting a DG H200 HD for my HOX. But it would be fine if this can be connected with my Android Tablet as well. Does anybody know this or has some experiences with the DG H200?
I've got the media link hd, the bubble upnp app picks it up as a renderer, so using my 8" tablet I can send all my videos on my media server or tablet to my tv.
In other words the medialink is usable with other phones, tablets etc.
Edit... When it's all on the same network.

Are you able to turn the screen off and still do it?? That's the only thing that bothers me about this adapter...having to keep on screen whilst I stream.

Yes screen can be off, I've noticed it uses very little battery drain, I thinks it's because everything is loaded onto the network, and nothing directly through ur phone / tablet.
I only use the hd media link as advertised when on YouTube, the rest of the time it's used as a renderer using bubble upnp, as it runs a lot smoother.

Okey, i will give it a try. if you can really use this adapter with other Androids it is usefull. What about the Quality?
As for quality I'm not sure, I will check the settings on the upnp app when I'm home tonight and try and play some mkvs etc. Iv watched standard avis and they look fine.

It shows up as a DNLA device on pretty much every thing that's capable of transmitting via DNLA. Windows Media Center works as does Windows Media Player. My G-Tab 10.1 connects to it but there's some funkiness with video content being streamed I haven't had time to troubleshoot yet. You can also play music to it and it shows album, title, artist and cover art on the output device.
I had a play with it last nite, and found that not all avis work, most do but some don't, this was the same with mkvs.
Iv been told this is because of the limited amount of codec support the media link has. So be warned not every video will work.
These vids that didn't work on my tablet, I was still able to play using my one x and then connecting the to the media link as advertised, but this is because it is then playing through mxplayer and just being mirrored to my tv.

So cool to see that 3 years ago the app I am using also worked for someone. I adore ArkMC cause it has all features I need. It is compatible with PS3, PS4, Xbox360, Xbox One, HD TVs, what is really important for me as I like to stream my music to my PS4 when having a party. Secondly, it supports Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound what not many streaming apps have. And finally, all media formats are ready to use without conversion.
I was sitting in the bedroom last night watching the game and all of a sudden a prompt came up that said something about media device. I clicked ok and a picture of my daughter was on the screen. My fiancee came into the room with her S3 and was responsible for what was going on. Nothing additional is added for this to work with her device. Why didn't HTC add something as this to there Flagship device?

Anyone know of a way to accomplish the same task without the HTC media device?

I have used an app called "AllCast" from the play store to display photos & videos located on your phone on our Samsung smart TV.

Thanks. Tried it, choppy on videos. iMediashare works great. Found it on the play store.

Chrome cast for $35 is the universal fix. Portable and works on any HDMI tv

They probably didn't add it because they don't make TVs, which is why they have the media device

htc one can send pictures, videos and music to smart tv's. if your fiancee did it with her s3, you can probably do it to.
first, your tv and your phone have to be on the same network, so you can't use 4g on your phone. connect your phone to the wi-fi router that your tv is connected to.
second, open your gallery, click on a picture or video you want to show on your tv and click on a little "play" icon in top right corner of your phone. it will search for devices and if your tv is compatible it will be shown there. click on it and voila you can play your pictures or videos on your tv. you can do the same thing in music player.
also, depending on your rom, you can accomplish the same thing by sliding three fingers up on your screen.
note: I've noticed that it doesn't work for pictures or videos that are not on my device e.g. facebook pics and such. also my videos are choppy, but it could be my tv being not fully compatible.
