[Q] Samsung's "Remote Controls" & "Find My Mobile" - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I did a quick search on XDA and found nothing...
How do I enable "Remote Controls" in the "Settings" section, so i can access Samsung's "Find my Mobile"?
http://findmymobile.samsung.com/help/guideHelp.do

The T-Mobile Note II isn't on the list of supported phones, so maybe it isn't supported.
Supported models:GT-N7100, GT-N7100T, GT-N7102, GT-N7105, GT-N7105T, GT-N7108, SC-02E, SCH-N719, SGH-I317M, SHV-E250K, SHV-E250L, SHV-E250S

install a n7105 ported rom and you will have the feature under "security" i tested it, it works perfectly

Hidden Menus in Sprint S6

I have been watching Tips and Tricks Videos on Youtube and I have seen so many phones with different menu options than mine has. There are features that I would like to have like "Device Security" and "Find my Mobile". I'm not sure if I need them but I am frustrated that certain options have been disabled. I have used root explorer to find and edit the "features.xml" file and have been able to enable the shutter sound menu and the call recording option, but other menu options I have not found. Does anyone have knowledge of what code to add to the files or even what files are used to hide certain features that other carriers besides Sprint seem okay letting their customers have access to?

For "Find my Mobile", you could always try google's version: Android Device Manager.
Lookout is another alternative but is much more than device location.
Cerberus is the best choice for device security.
Even though there are alternatives for some features of Samsung's Find My Mobile, I don't believe any of them offer the 'reactivation lock' feature that Find My Mobile offers. So, it's annoying that carriers don't want to support native Samsung features that I would want as the person who paid for the device.

One of the best apps I've found for missing phones is Android Lost. It uses Google services to push commands instead of the app doing it.

samsung Galaxy s9 collins dictionary popup on all devices

Hello,
On my Samsung Galaxy S9, I can select a word, there is an item Dictionary on a popup menu and it opens a popup with the selected word in the Samsung Dictionary 2.6.36 seller, a very detailed Collins for learners dictionary.
I tried to install the apk on other phones such as Sony XZ Premium, Nokia 8, Honor View 10 but I can't : App not installed.
Is there a way to have this wonderful app on devices different from Samsung?
Thank you.
Probably better to ask in those different devices own forums, someone might know a workaround

Question Supported devices for Your Phone app

Dear Community!
I hope I follow all forum rules, it's my first try.
I intend to buy an Samsung A 72 4g and would like to use the feature "Apps" (running apps in Windows 10 with "my phone"). Unfortunately, the A 72 is listed for the feature "Link to Windows" and the feature "Phone screen" but not for the feature "Apps".
Supported devices for Phone Link app experiences - Microsoft Support
A list of devices supported with Link to Windows and other features in the Phone Link app.

Is this a mistake, because even the previous model and other older models are mentioned in the list to support "Apps"?
Who owns a Samsung A 72 g and uses the "Apps" feature of "my phone" in Windows 10 and does it work?
I am using VYSOR premium (in free quality is limited).
It is full integration as you have your phone screen mirrored to the screen of your PC.
You can laso try https://www.dell.com/en-us/lp/dell-mobile-connect
there was tutorial somewhere in internet on how to trick your windows to think you have DELL hardware to make it work
Thanks for the tip, but do you know, if Samsung A72 support running Apps in Windows 10 with the App "Your Phone", like most of the newer devices from samsung?
Hello, how are you?
I have the device and it does indeed support Apps on Windows 10, it makes a kind of miracast from the cell phone to the PC, meanwhile you can't use the phone.
Thanks for the answer!!! So i´m going to buy it!
