Well as most of you know, we received Jelly Bean yesterday and it is slowly makings its way to everyone. If you are eager and don't want to wait, then check out this thread.
First, here is the Screenshot of the About Phone stuff showing Android 4.1.2 and of course when you rapidly tap on that you get these next two screens.

Next, is the home screen. Looks the same except for the Weather Widget is updated with newer pictures and as you can see the menu text is bolder now. Which makes it look 100 times better.
Another cool thing about the weather widget is if you click on it, it will bring you to these next two screenshots. One gives you a Today forecast for Day and Night. The other will give you a 4 day forecast.
The messaging application looks a little different now, the text in the front message page is a little smaller and in the actual message page it gives you a time/date for every message.
Notification Bar looks the same but it now displays previews of the pictures and the Sprint logo disappears when you scroll it up and down and the little three bars on the bottom turn ICS blue when you click on it.
This is the biggest enhancement for Jelly Bean, Google Now. This displays sports scores, the current weather, and it even will display any tracking information if you have it in your Gmail and plane tickets or movie tickets also.
Lastly is the settings, the On/Off buttons are switches now and when you plug your device into the computer now, that page looks a little different and has pictures.
The pictures do it a little justice but until you really use it and mess with it and feel the buttery smooth transitions and movements. The text throughout the phone is bold now which makes it pop a little more. If you want to see anything let me know and I'll take more screenshots.
is the camera any better? Thats my big thing, and Expandable notifications
The new on and off switches on the settings page seem very out of place.

Is it possible to get the actual JB camera on the phone? I'd really like that. I have a strong feeling that LG isn't that great with camera fw/sw.
I could just try to side load it but I'm afraid what will happen.

No idea what you are talking about!
Because benchmarks are stupid?
If you want to give any credence to Quadrant then go ahead, but it's about as random as a mouse eating celery while driving down the freeway in a 2013 Mustang GT 500 sky blue with white racing stripes jamming the new Tiesto album in 7.1 surround sound digital speakers with a 2 channel 3000 watt amp powering three 10s and two 12s (yeah, 5 subs is random, deal with it) and part of his ear is missing because he got into a fight with a demonic blender and nearly lost.
And that's actually not even as random as the numbers quadrant gives.
Quadrant serves no useful purpose whatsoever.
They are not stupid, but you can't use it to compare to any other phone (even other Nexus) they work to compare before and after for you phone only. Like run it with STOCK clock and ROM and then flash and overclock to see any change, something like that. Same to check how fast does temp go high, and so on...

why does it matter so much to you? because people like to have fun with their devices. no one believes that these benchmarks are the end all. but some do enjoy benchmarking their devices. if you dont like them , ignore them. id rather know why people like you would rather that people not benchmark their devices.. how does this affect you directly and personally? just ignore these threads and dont read or post in them. personally, i suspect that youre feeling inadequate with a slow device :silly:
its as easy as.. if you dont believe in Christianity, dont go to church. but dont stand in front of everyone yelling that theres no god. thats just rude.
---------- Post added at 06:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:49 PM ----------
just to make something clear.. to the average person these benchmarks mean nothing. but to a kernel developer(for example) they show just how the changes they made affect the device. and one specific benchmark does not hold the answer. but using many different benchmarks is like a goldmine of information. plus, some people find it fun, thrilling, just to see how and what they can do to make their devices faster.

Quadrant scores used alongside other numbers do paint an overall picture and can be quite useful finding bottle necks and does tell you if a change to code had the desired effect.
You can catch when a change not relating to performance turns up to have an undesired side effect afterall.
Just don't depend on a single benchmark and use several and the data gained is quite useful.

Just caught a post regarding missing JB clock and other features..someone stated a possible leaked, early version
Few articles popping up supporting this theory
Not to mention, folks are having a lot of difficulty installing manually
Just an FYI
What other features are missing? IMO JB clock isn't a big loss anyway, there are plenty of 3rd party imitators of it if you really need it. I haven't updated yet since I'm waiting on flashable zip, but it'd be disappointing if some important features were incomplete or left out. If it's just missing widgets then no big deal.

It'd be sad but at the same time bitterly humorous if someone secretly threw off a malware infested ROM that's harvesting information from our phones as we speak. In all likelihood it was probably just someone doing us a favor in the higher ups. Or LG just never told Sprint about the update and pushed it out on their own. I'm certainly glad we got it, leak or not.

It isn't any less private than the regular Facebook app. This is a really tiny launcher that just pulls everything from the app and displays it to you front and center. You can still access all the stuff on your phone easily, but I don't care that much about Facebook so I don't gain anything from using this. It's not bad, just not for me.

Just the smaller lower end phones because i hang around with university girls all the time and thats what they have and they use them for Facebook 24-7. So plastic posted this just a bit ago. Enjoy! http://phandroid.com/2014/11/06/lg-g3-lollipop-screenshots/
It looks the same.... ugh too much LG skin and not enough Lollipop.
Transmission sent from my LG G3.
It better get a bunch more work done.
I love LG but come on. They are covering a lot of the goods up. It doesn't look much different from what we have now, which is a downer. So hopefully LG updates there interface atleast to go along with the look.

Yeah not diggin it if thats official.. I feel like though different variants will look slightly different.
Sigh looks like I'm going with the Android L launcher instead of LGs

Right, and the Galaxy S5 will still look like Touchwiz, and the HTC One will still look like Sense. I don't understand why people think that OEM's with skins on Android were going to suddenly go all stock for Lollipop. We all bought a phone with a LG UI on it, now it's not good enough, because it doesn't look like a Nexus. I honestly don't understand why people are surprised by this. At all.

Well, I was hoping they would listen to customer feedback and get rid of the crap they call a TW. One can dream...

They have all invested too heavily in their own UI to scrap it for stock. The only way we're getting stock Android is buy a Nexus or flash an AOSP ROM. OEM's are never going to just suddenly go stock.
You all do realize that the UI is the least we should be interested in... Visual look can be modified, themed. I'm far more interested in all the system improvements.

Motorola was nowhere near Samsung or HTC is in their UI. I think the last popular Motorola phone was the Razr.
