Hi.
I flashed Android Revolution HD 18.4 on to my phone and now it's just get stuck on bootscreen.
And I can't get to my sd card via computer when in fastboot.
If anyone have any suggestions on what I can do, please help me.
Thanks.
Enter the bootloader and go to recovery from there. Mount the sdcard as a diskdrive/mass storage device with the option witin the recovery !
What hboot do you have ?
What recovery do you have ?
thanks.
i mounted it now and flashed boot.img and then flashed the rom but now it's getting stucked on the htc-one-beatsaudio-screen.
any thoughts on what to do?
What recovery ?
What hboot number ?
hboot 1.12.0000
recovery CWM v6.0.2.7
To e able to run JB roms you need to update the hboot first !
in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1920060 - it says "IF YOU HAVE NO CID NUMBER LISTED ABOVE, STOP NOW!"
my cid is H3G_G04. should I go back to ics or is there a way for me to have jb?
(thanks very much for you help by the way)
You can check this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927048
i did these steps exept no. 5 cos' i don't have a unlock_code.bin file.
1) go into fastboot and enter "fastboot oem lock" - the device will reboot
2) go into fastboot again and enter "fastboot oem rebootRUU" - there will be a black screen with a silverish HTC logo
3) enter "fastboot flash zip firmware.zip" (you need the firmware.zip from page 1 for this)
3a) enter the same again, the green bar under the logo should go to 100% (either after the first or second time)
4) enter "fastboot reboot-bootloader" to go back to your fastboot
5) unlock your device again with the unlock code ("fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin")
6) Restore your old boot.img (fastboot flash boot name_of_boot_file.img) and recovery (fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery_file.img), make sure you copied them from the nandroid backup folder we created earlier into the folder that contains the fastboot.exe you're using.
(7) Reboot and you should now have Hboot 1.39 with your old boot and recovery.
now i have hboot 1.39 but... now when i go in to recovery it isn't cwm anymore. it's just a logo of a phone with a red varning-sign over it. then i get in to som sort of android screen but when i unlock it the screen turns white with green htc logo. any thoughts?
You need to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery
Go to the htcdev site and get a new unlock code.bin file
Now it's working, Thanks so very much man! You're awesome! =)
Thank you very much ! and good you got it solved ! :good:

Hello, i just messed up with my Htc One X, I want to flash the ARHD 10.6 but i got bootloop, then i tried to restore from my back up but i don;t know why everything is fone in my sd card. I tried to go back to stock with RUU. My cid is HTC__203, so i tried to flash with the
Europe 2.17.401.2 HTC - but it keeps show signature error 132.
I don't know what to do, then my brother change my hboot to 1.28
Does someone has an idea please? I am really desperate. It is forever bricked? thank you
get into fastboot and check are you locked or unlocked ?
I already unlock it and to flash ruu i relock it
- Unlock it
- Flash the latest recovery "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
- Extract boot.img from the Rom.zip you want to flash (preferably a jellybean rom)
- "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
- "fastboot erase cache"
- Boot into recovery and flash the ROM.zip
edit: you might try flashing the boot.img from ARHD 10.6 and fastboot erase cache and see if it boots
The problem is i can't get access to my phone. It get stuck to the screen with htc logo and there is nothing on my sd card right now. I tried to push file via adb but it also show no result
turn it off (long press the power button) then turn it on to fastboot, flash the boot.img and erase cache
I tried, i keep havin the bootloop(
Just hold the power button and volume down until it goes to bootloader.
Yes, I did go to bootloader, erase cache and flash the boot.img, but I'm havin the sam issue
Reflash recovery in fastboot, boot up recovery, usb mount, put firmware on and flash it. Then flash boot.img again in fastboot. That works, and if not, YOU are doing something wrong.

Thank you, with your instruction I can finally flash a rom. I did flash viper 2.6. It goes to the lockscreen but when I unlock, it shows : "venom tweaks stop working", and show blank screen with green htc logo. I'm downloading the ARHD jelly bean rom and give it a try. Thank you
Now, i am having the issue with my phone who doesn't recognise my internal sd card. I did a factory reset and went to the recovery to make sure that the sdcard is mounted, but still hain the same problem

Hello,
i got this weird problem when i tried to install clockworkmod from here: knowyourmobile(dot)com/smartphones/htc/onex/onexuserguides/1419609/how_to_root_your_htc_one_x.html
My bootloader is unlocked.I downloaded the file end ran the script. When everything finished my phone got stuck in the boot screen.I tried to erase chase or install stock kernel and recovery (using all ine one tool from this site)but nothing solved it.The only thing that i havent tried yet is to flash a boot.img because i cant find one (i got the phone from europe(paris) and i have the jelly bean update and i cant find the stock boot.img).Any solutions?
Thanks in advance!
If you flash a rom you can find the boot.img inside the rom.zip file ! Flash the boot.img with fastboot commands and do a wipe in recovery and install the rom.zip file from sd card !
And its not a weird boot problem, it's a common user mistake that is done by many....many people
Ow and a kernel = boot.img
Thanks for the reply,Is there another way?Because i dont want to use a custom ROM.I just rooted it in order to install some apps that require root.I said its weird because i flashed the kernel and the problem stays
Do you have a custom recovery at the moment ? And did u do a nandroid backup of the stock rom ?
I think it's weird that you first say that you flashed the kernel and then you say you can't find the boot.img.......
Well i didnt know that kernel=boot.img and i dont know if the all ine one xda program puts the right program for jb.I didnt backup anything,I have clockworkmod recovery
Do you know fastboot and the commands ?
Fastboot oem readcid
and
Fastboot getvar version-main
And post these results here !
I will try it.THis doesnt format anything,right>?
Nope....
You have to enter the recovery from the bootloader - choose hboot and then recovery....if it enters check which version you have (cwm 5.8.4.0 ?)
From there you can go to mounts & storage and then choose at the bottom mount as USB drive
Then you can at least copy everything from the sd to a safe place. I think that the internal data is going to be lost ! Like messages and apps .... Everything that is stored in the cloud is safe anyway
cid:htc__203 OKAY
version-main:3.14.401.27
You can get the ruu with the same number on www.htcruu.com and put the phone in bootloader/fastboot USB
Relock the bootloader with
Fastboot oem lock
And run the ruu.exe with admin rights ...it will put the phone back to 100% stock
This is the one you need
http://www.htcruu.com/download.php?...Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed.exe
Nice! Now to reunlock the bootloader i will do the same things i did the first time or there is a command for that?
Yes if you still have the unlock token.bin file you can unlock the bootloader with a fastboot command, the correct command slipped my mind at the moment !
Otherwise you can to the htcdev site again and unlock it there
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

Hey ,I have been around the forum and not only for trying to find a way to get back to stock. What I did was I used my Nandroids boot.img and recovery.img and the phone started normally on 4.1.1 as it was when I backed it up. But when I downloaded OTA and tried to install I had the internalstorage issue ,I tried extracting it manually from Downloads app and at it stucks with the note that "This file is corrupted". I then installed another recovery named -endeavoru.recovery.signed.img and when I try to get into recovery a red exlamation mark appears .And checking for software updated says that I am running newest version of android.. Help will be much appreciated
Thanks

You can try downloading latest ruu and extracting boot.img and system.img from there, here's the instructions https: //sites.google.com/site/ androidbyyorzua/home/tutorials/extracting-rom-files-from-htc-ruu (remove spaces)
You have to flash them with fastboot

Full stock!
But within the boot loader you will always see the Information "RELOCKED"
Currently it is not possible to remove this because there would be S-OFF required.

Do not listen to this guy, wrong guide. This will soft brick your phone (stuck at bootloop). After flashing rom.zip you have to flash unlocktocken in order to flash recovery and wipe cache and factory reset. AND DO NOT flash CWM or TWRP recovery as they will soft brick your phone giving you error while reverting system while restoring nandroid backup, instead flash the recovery located in the nandroid back up!

Uhh, have you actually installed recovery - if you haven't well that's why.
Go here: http://www.4ext.net/ddl/ace/recovery.zip
Extract the files
Copy recovery img to your adb.exe folder (make sure fastboot.exe is there)
Turn on your phone into fastboot mode
CD to that directory and type in "fastboot devices"
Confirm it says your serial
Then type in "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Now you have recovery (it means you can flash roms and kernels and mods and anything flashable apart from radios and firmwares)
I did this correctly, everything is OK, but now what? I tried to install stock ROM, but with no result. Here is a pictures of instalation-
now select recovery, and install ROM there

don't install stock rom or RUU again..
just installing custom rom (you can search and choice a custom rom in "Desire HD Android Development") and installing the rom.zip file from 4ext recovery (install zip from sd card)..don't forget to flashing boot.img too (flashing under FASTBOOT mode with fastboot command "fastboot flash boot boot.img").. that the boot.img are extracted from the rom.zip file that you had already installed..
hope this can help..
Thank you, but I can't see 4EXT Recovery menu on my phone. And I can't install custom ROM

just copied your custom rom file to the root of your sd card..this mean just placed inside your sdcard..don't placed inside any folder..then after that you can installing that rom from 4ext recovery
hope this can help..
I made this from second post, but can't see any difference in phone or bootloader. When I pushed recovery from original bootmenu, came white screen with green HTC logo with one vibration end nothing happend
Just repeat all the step in second post...just this time you show me the out put from cmd...after you typing command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

that's so weird..it must be something wrong with that phone..
what about if you try return to the stock first..?
to do that...firstly just find the cid num of your phone by command through fastboot "fastboot getvar all" (you can find your cid in the INFO CIDNUM XXXXXXXX) if you wanna show me the output of that command..don't forget just remove your imei and serial number first..
after you find your cid num you can find the right RUU for your phone..just check it here to find what RUU you must download it..and just download it the RUU with same main version of your phone or higher version than yours..
after that just relocked your bootloader through fastboot "fastboot oem lock"...now you can continued flashing that RUU
hope this help..

Here it is
I am posting this in the hopes it might help someone that has a similar problem. I personally went down a lot of wrong roads before stumbling across the answer. Maybe that is me but like many issues all the answers were here in XDA they were just a little hard to find. If you are facing this problem here they are in one place/
Initially I was faced with a non-charging, boot looped HOX International
Many thanks to [email protected]|-|oR, teemo, Thant who got me through this.
HOX International Endeavoru
S-On
HBOOT 0.95
Version-main 1.29.401.11
oem readcid H_Y13-2.17.401.2
Stuck in boot loop. Device would not charge, would only run when on usb and then only go to bootloader screen. After a few minutes connection and phone would die. This is the worst possible situation if you have anything more than this it will work as well
The phone was unlocked.
Should work on either Windows, Mac, Linux as long as you have adb and fastboot installed (I use Linux)
This can all be done without ever having a working phone until process is completed.
Step One - Install a recovery CWM 5.8.4.0
On your pc download 5.8.4.0 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5#post24738635
Personally I renamed it to somethingeasy.
Open a terminal (in Linux as long as fastboot is in your path it doesn't matter, in Windows you will need to be in the directory that has fastboot) Now flash the recovery.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery somethingeasy.img
Make sure it completes with no errors. This is an old recovery and should not be a problem for the device.
This recovery will (among other things) give you the ability to mount the phone on your box easily so you can copy files over.
Step 2 - Give the phone a chance to charge
Reboot the phone into recovery (or the bootloader and select recovery) which will allow the battery to charge.
Step 3 - Find a file to update your HBOOT
The major issue here is HBOOT 0.95 since it won't allow you to do a native update in the phone OS from an OTA. For me it refused to accept anything I downloaded on the phone after I restored from a nandroid backup so I just skipped that step.
By going to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
Then find a file that matches your realcid. In my case that was a H_Y13 with 401 file. As in x.xx.401.2
Download that file and put it in your fastboot directory.
Step 4 - Relock the phone
Boot the phone into the bootloader select fastboot usb. Open a terminal and type
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Step 5 - Follow the steps on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
Follow the steps from thread above:
Rename the downloaded file to firmware.zip and open a terminal
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
and wait for device to reboot. It will come up with an HTC screen, be patient
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
and wait for process to complete, again be patient it will work as noted on the link above sometimes flashing for the first time doesn't work, so flash firmware.zip again just to make sure (and in my case it did not and I had to flash twice)
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
and wait for process to complete
Code:
fastboot reboot
Then find your original unlock code from HTC dev or just do the whole unlock http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/ again from the HTC site
Step 6 Reflash the recovery from above
Next reflash the HOX recovery from above we called somethingeasy.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery somethingeasy.img
Boot into recovery
Wiped system, data, cache
now follow the steps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630225 or whatever ROM you want. In my case my HBOOT was upgraded to 1.72, just in time to get ready for Lollipop. Hope this is of help to someone.
