Hello, i just messed up with my Htc One X, I want to flash the ARHD 10.6 but i got bootloop, then i tried to restore from my back up but i don;t know why everything is fone in my sd card. I tried to go back to stock with RUU. My cid is HTC__203, so i tried to flash with the
Europe 2.17.401.2 HTC - but it keeps show signature error 132.
I don't know what to do, then my brother change my hboot to 1.28
Does someone has an idea please? I am really desperate. It is forever bricked? thank you
get into fastboot and check are you locked or unlocked ?
I already unlock it and to flash ruu i relock it
- Unlock it
- Flash the latest recovery "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
- Extract boot.img from the Rom.zip you want to flash (preferably a jellybean rom)
- "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
- "fastboot erase cache"
- Boot into recovery and flash the ROM.zip
edit: you might try flashing the boot.img from ARHD 10.6 and fastboot erase cache and see if it boots
The problem is i can't get access to my phone. It get stuck to the screen with htc logo and there is nothing on my sd card right now. I tried to push file via adb but it also show no result
turn it off (long press the power button) then turn it on to fastboot, flash the boot.img and erase cache
I tried, i keep havin the bootloop(
Just hold the power button and volume down until it goes to bootloader.
Yes, I did go to bootloader, erase cache and flash the boot.img, but I'm havin the sam issue
Reflash recovery in fastboot, boot up recovery, usb mount, put firmware on and flash it. Then flash boot.img again in fastboot. That works, and if not, YOU are doing something wrong.

Thank you, with your instruction I can finally flash a rom. I did flash viper 2.6. It goes to the lockscreen but when I unlock, it shows : "venom tweaks stop working", and show blank screen with green htc logo. I'm downloading the ARHD jelly bean rom and give it a try. Thank you
Now, i am having the issue with my phone who doesn't recognise my internal sd card. I did a factory reset and went to the recovery to make sure that the sdcard is mounted, but still hain the same problem

Hi there,
Something went wrong with my HTC One X. Now, I cannot get past the HTC splash screen.
I can get into fastboot and also in recovery (latest clockwordk recovery). What I can't do, is connect my phone to the Windows 7 computer to copy the ROM to the SD card.
Fastboot works fine and reconizes my divice, but I cannot see it as storage on my pc. The USB driver from the android sdk is installed.
What can I do? I Googled, but I just cannot find anything helpful

It would seem your only option is to flash back to stock and then reroot.
Boot into fastboot and flash the stock recovery then relock the bootloader. After that download the RUU, boot into fastboot again and run it.
Once you are back up and running then unlock the bootloader again, flash Clockwork and flash your desired rom.
Thanks

Thank you!
After doing some research, I follewed the steps below and got it working again!
Flash original bootloader
forum_DOT_xda-developers_DOT_com/showthread.php?t=1594819 (use 1.28 stock recovery link)
Fastboot USB:
* fastboot flash recovery endeavoru_recovery_signed.img
* power down
Relock bootloader
forum_DOT_xda-developers_DOT_com/showthread.php?t=1578546
Fastboot USB:
* fastboot oem lock
The screen sais "Relocked"
* Power down
Flash RUU
forum_DOT_xda-developers_DOT_com/showthread.php?t=1543604 (first link)
Fastboot USB:
* Execute RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.9_Radio_1.1204.103.14_release_256469_signed.exe
(this might take a while)
When finished, the phone will restart - if not, restart manually
When started, the phone will update firmware and reboot (or reboot manually)
Thanks!
Is it possible that I can do this but flash the optus firmware instead of the European? firmware and is the recovery the same on optus as well?

Yesterday I wanted to flash the new CWM (5.8.4.0) but I accidentally flash using fastboot boot boot.img
Then it kept rebooting into recovery
After panicking a few times, I used Hasoon2000's allinonekit to flash stock recovery, stock kernel, relocked and reunlocked bootloader, factory reset through hboot.
Now im in a bootloop but instead of the usual htc with beats that i usually get, a simple logo featuring the word "android" is all that showed up on my screen. Sometime when I restart it would show a harddisk or something like that with a green refresh logo. In cwm my phone can't detect my sd so I can't flash my nandroid backup.
Can someone help this noob
Boot into fastboot.
First turn on the phone.
Hold both Power and Volume Down until the screen turns black, after two seconds release the power button only, it should boot you into fastboot, you can also try just holding both buttons, not sure about that so if it won't boot into fastboot try both ways!
When it boots into fastboot, open up command prompt and execute the command fastboot erase cache, this should make you able to boot into recovery again.
Good luck!
I can access recovery now. The problem now is the android bootloops

Do you have any ROMS on your SDCard?
If you do, follow these steps please!
First of all, find the boot.img of the ROM you have on your SDCard, do this by downloading the ROM to your computer again and extracting the boot.img or using franco's or whatever other one there is.
Put the boot.img into the directory where your fastboot.exe is located, boot back into Fastboot and execute the following commands, fastboot flash boot boot.img and then fastboot erase cache.
Boot into recovery from fastboot, Wipe Data -> Wipe Cache, browse for the ROM and flash it, this should fix your phone!
I was running ARHD 6.1.1 before. but like I said in CWM it cant detect my sd,
it says there is no such file. any ideas?

what is your recovery version? 5.8.4.0?
If you flash the latest recovery 5.8.4.0, then you should be able to view your SD Card and also infact,
if you go to ADVANCED Mode in the latest Recovery, connect the USB, it will detect your PC. Transfer the required files.
You have recovery now, try mounting the SD Card. Make sure you have enough charge ( >50%)
Please do not panic!
I will try that. Although i don't know how much battery I have left cause it suddenly turns on and bootloops after I charge for a particular amount of time
did you fix your phone now? if you fix pls mail [email protected] me cos we have same problem im using HOX stock " android logo "
even i put file on cwm 5.8.4.0 SD failed open master mode
Thankyou anyone for helping me.
I was trying to update my phone to the Maximus rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1601543) from an AOKP JB ROM.
I succesfully followed the instructions to relock my phone, the flash the firmware, then unlock it again. Unfortunately I was foolish and didn't think to copy across the rom.zip before doing this. I tried restoring a Nandroid backup but was stuck in a bootloop. I also tried reflashing the previous AOKP Rom that I had on there. In this case it booted but I had no radio, no wifi, and importantly I couldn't mount over USB to copy across the new ROM. I'm guessing neither method works because of the new HBOOT?
I went to this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609190 and it's clear that I have to flash an RUU through fastboot to get back to a working state. Unfortunately All the RUU links for JB Roms as listed on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376 seem to be dead so I can't download them. Similarly the links to older RUUs found here http://www.filefactory.com/f/e3e8b30e62a4a8aa/ all require a premium account because they are over the 500MB limit.
Can anyone tell me where I can please get an RUU to restore my phone to working order, or if there's another method available? Thankyou very much for your help.

Thankyou for the suggestion, but the problem with that method is that once again the ROM I want to flash has to be moved over to the virtal SD card of my phone. Since the ROM on it is currently not working I can't copy anything across to the SD card through the usual means. Is there a way I can copy it across using fastboot, as that is still working fine? I had a look at the fastboot help and there didn't seem to be any way. What I need is a ROM that can be flashed over fastboot, which I understand can be done with the stock RUUs?
I'm not panicking, I know that I will be able to get it back up and running, I just need a bit of help to get there.
Boot into bootloader and from there to recovery , mounts and storage - mount as USB ....and you have a working sd card to copy the rom.zip file to
Copy the rom.zip to the card and copy the boot.img from the rom.zip to the fastboot folder.
Flash the boot.img and flash the rom from recovery ..... Are u using cwm recovery 5.8.4.0

Thankyou so much for that suggestion. That would really help. I'm sorry, I don't know what I did, but now if I try to go into recovery the recovery flashes breifly on screen and then it resets. I tried reflashing it, using the All In One toolkit and using Fastboot.exe. I also tried flashing both the CWM recovery and the TWRP recovery, neither of them worked.
Thankyou for your help again, I'm sorry but recovery was working before, I think all I did was flash a boot.img but could that break recovery? I even tried going through the whole relock, flash firmware.zip, unlock, flash recovery procedure to see if that would work but it didn't.
Do a fastboot command
Put the phone in bootloader / fastboot USB menu
Fastboot erase cache
Check if you can enter recovery after that

Thankyou! That fixed the recovery issue. Once I could get into recovery I could copy across the ROM, flash it, flash boot.img (not that that was a problem) and my phone is now in woring order again.
Once again, many many thanks.
Glad you got it sorted !
So I made a problem
I have One X with CID: T-mobile DE "T-MOB101"
I tried to root it with Hansoon 2000 HTC One X all in one kit
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24972527
So I unlocked the bootloader, Rooted the phone (probably not - here I see the misstake)
and then tried to install custom ROM
from that time I am not able to run the phone, only bootloader and any recovery (except stock recovery - this shows me just red triangle)
I tried more recoveries here from forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609190
tried to restore from backup but didnt worked for me, then I managed to erase it ...
My last try was according this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
but my status after this is that my phone loads with HTC quietly brilliant and reboot still in a loop ...
please help me, I would like to use my phone again ... how can I rescue it
Post the output of the following:
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
fastboot getvar version-main
Code:
version-main: 3.14.111.28

No RUU available for your device, I can't even find a nandroid backup for your device.. strange...
If you want to flash a custom rom you will first need to download that rom and put it in your sdcard using custom recovery>mounts and storage>Mount usb.
After than flash the boot.img from zip with fastboot and then fastboot erase cache.
Go back to recovery, wipe data/cache/dalvic and format system. Flash the rom.zip and also the gapps.zip if required and then reboot!
If you want to restore the nandroid backup which you had taken (from the 1st post)... Here are the steps:
flash boot.img which will be found in /clockworkmod/backup/xxxxx/ via fastboot and then wipe everything and finally restore backup!

Hello Guys,
at first i have to excuse me for my english!
First i rooted my phone and it works fine. After that i wanted to try out a Custom Rom but the installation failed. I tried to restore my Backup from yesterday but it said it was broken. I didn't know what to do this command: fastboot recovery (or something like that) and after that i just came into my recovery. I was happy that i could put a new rom on my HTC One X but my PC didn't recognize it. I tried to go in the fastboot option into the bootloader with fastboot reboot bootloader i guess. Now i can't get out of this menu and when i try to flash the Recovery and the Rom it says that i don't have enough battery and when i try to charge it it sometimes stop charging and turn off. I can't turn it one for a short while!
I need help! Thanks!
