Jedi x11 is based off the international version while Jedi Master is based off The-mobile version.
X11 is android 4.1.2 and Master is 4.1.1.
As to which one is better, I think it's just personal preference.

Jedi master has wifi calling. XX does not
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app

Jedi XX, 4.1.2, keeps its users running the latest GNII "carrier provided" update (ported to TMO, hence no WiFi Calling), this is ideal for those desiring to keep TouchWiz/Samsung functionality, while trying to be the "most up-to-date"
Jedi Master, 4.1.1, is completely based off of the latest TMO "OTA", but with Jedi "properties" <--- if "properties" is okay enough to describe what I'm implying)

Which one has better battery life (I have also heard the OTA update to 4.1.2 had drastically decreased battery life)?

Honestly... I know I am a but head sometimes but the question about battery life is like which movie did you like better. It is so open to different factors.
Apps installed
Kernel
Kernel settings
Brightness settings
ROM settings
Usage
Wallpaper (live or not)
Push apps
Just try one... See how it works for you. Let the ROM settle for a few days before making a judgement.

This is Jedi Master 10 with Saber15.2 from today, best I've ever gotten
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app

Notice, that although it was at only 10 1/2 hours but had 6 hours of screen on time... and still 30% battery remaining...
That's like (on pace for) almost 9 hours of screen time!! (Mostly I wasn't getting no more than 7-7 1/2 before this)
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app

Well since PhxDroid86 posted his Jedi Master battery stats I guess I'll give my Jedi X a go..
Like previously stated, its best to try them both because there are always so many factors.
The first two are obviously the same day, the 3rd one is from another day.

[Q] To those of you who've tried a variety of ROMs

Hi there. As the title suggests, this is a question to those members who've tried a bunch of different ROMs. Can you please suggest the most stable one out of the ones that you've had a chance to try out, one with the least amount of bugs. Please don't go around posting annoying comments like "why don't you try a bunch of ROMs yourself". If I had time to try different ROMs, I wouldn't be typing this right now. I really need a stable ROM, and any suggestion is appreciated. I am currently using Jedi Knight 4, and it keep messing up my data connectivity every 15-30 minutes. It would go on an off non-stop every 3 seconds, and it would only stop if I turned the Airplane mode on and then off. It's really annoying, and I really need something stable, since the next few weeks are going to be incredibly busy for me, and I will need to rely on my phone a lot. I don't care whether it's ICS or JB, as long as it's stable and functional enough. Good battery life would be a huge plus, though not absolutely necessary, anything within decent range would suffice. Thank you in advance.
Have you tried to flash another radio?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I have not, but that's not my only problem with the ROM, just the most annoying one. I still need something different. Plus I don't really think that the radio had anything to do with it. It only started happening after I flashed the ROM, and that ROM wasn't too different from the rooted 4.0.4 update that I was using prior to that, and I never had problems with my connectivity with that one. Either way, maybe I'm wrong, but in that case, might you suggest a good radio?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Even though most of them are urging me to use a ROM that I already am using lol. Either way, keep 'em coming
It is hard to suggest what radio is the best. It depends on your phone and your location, but you can try Galaxy Note radio. For Rom, jedi mind trick X2 is the most stable.

I'll just add...no bugs that concern me at all. others may say this or that isn't perfect....like no wifi calling. bit I've used every jb rom lately....all are pretty good. liking paranoid android for its certain customization features...like dpi changing...even particular apps....plus finding its battery life just great!
I suggest to flash again the same radio that you have.
When I flashed All-dev AOKP version, my wireless got messed up in the same way as you are experiencing. Also sequential roms flashed after I noticed this issue did not fix the problem.
There is nothing to lose if you flash the same radio. Maybe only 1 minute of your time.
After I did this, I no longer experienced issues with my wifi connection.
I've tried many roms but i always go back to juggernaut its just stable and smooth its the daily driver for me. I wish team Kang will ever go back and edit that rom and add new themes and good update.<-------------- this is the answer untill they ever come up with a good stable release of jb roms they look cool and much more choices but a headache.

It did seem to be very well-developed, nice functions, and just looked overall promising. I'm definitely considering that one.

Frostyjb vs jedi master

I am currently running frostyjb and i was wondering if anyone have used both and can point me to if jedi master is a big upgrade? I like frostyjb for the simple debloat but it doesnt add too much to the stock and I believe the dev stopped deving for note 2, I like how jedi seems constantly updated but last time I flashed jedi x I lost wifi calling and didnt seem to gain too much noticible (no signal at home so wifi calling was crucial so didnt get to test battery life and such in less than 1 day using it)
So pretty much is there any feature in jedi that attracted you over the other roms?

Best Battery Life ROM?

What's the best T-Mobile USA compatible ROM for battery life? I am a gamer and watch videos a lot, so basically I need the best ROM for screen on battery life.
Jedi X is giving me okay battery life, I believe stock was better.

Battery life is pretty subjective to use and CPU governor used.. if you are comparing using only stock PegasusQ; my opinion would be that I actually get better battery life now than on stock.

few questions here about the t989 and roms

I have a few questions about the t989 maybe hoping someone could answer who have tried different roms and such
1. the very first key board that came on my t989 i liked really well but i cant find it anywere it had the predictive text and when you went to type numbers the were on the left in a pattern like this 123 what stock rom was that so i can snag the keyboard from it
456
789
0
2. ive been having horrible battery life lately on any rom with my data disabled and the phone just sitting my the android system uses 40% of my battery and it drains really fast could it be the radio? if so what radio is best for the t989 and will any radio work with any rom
3. will different launchers use different amounts of battery power like the next launcher seemed liked it used alot idk
4. whats the most popular and stable rom for the t989
which roms did you try?
let me know so I can help you further...

Yeah something is definitely eating your battery, it could be an app that's constantly running in the background. Download what I mentioned above and find out what's draining it so quickly. Also try wiping your caches and see if that helps

thanks for the help guys i just flashed back to cm10 from cm10.1 and my battery is doing fine again something about 10.1 i dont like it says stable but from my experience its far from that

finding the right OS recomendations?

i am trying to find an OS with great battery life, the best possible cell reception, that i can copy and paste easily between all screens and that has neat features for usability.
I have used dark side and jedi mind tricks ICS and both had great battery life, i liked jedi better.
i tried AOKP V3 jelly bean and it was very fast and worked great but battery life was half that of ICS, there were days i would have the phone unpluged for 3 hours and it would be down by 60%.
i am running jedi mind tricks jelly bean right now and its much better on battery life than AOKP was but the messaging is slower, the flash light is a bit glitchy and the cell service is much weaker than AOKP was.
what OS should i try next?
I prefer jedi mind trick jb. But embryo 6-11 (Touchwiz 4.1.2) is also great. I got great battery life with it and there are so many settings to play with (i.e. statusbar transparency, overclock, etc...). Its really fast and stable and is a good rom overall. Plus I think you meant custom rom instead of a OS.
Don't forget to hit thanks

i am using jedi mind trick 4 jelly bean right now. its fast in some areas but slow on teh txt screen, has graphic glitches in 3D games, is a bit slow when searching contacts and turning on the flash light makes the camera crash untill i reboot. perhaps i should try version 5?
im installing version 5 tonight and ill see how it runs. i am seriously thinking of just going back to ICS, i love some of the features of JB but i just cant find a good version of it.
As far as OS goes I'd say Android
As for a Custom ROM I'd say try them all and make the choice your self..(I know I hate that answer too.. But its the only way you'll find what's eight for you.. )
I personally love AOKP and Cyanogen as they are the only truly custom built from source ROMs. Have many features. And if set up and tweaked have awesome battery life..
But lately I've been using Jedi Mind trick and its a pretty nice mix between battery and performance.
