Absolutely a MUST do!!! - Sprint LG Optimus G

Everyone that is looking for a more pure android experience must go and download the lifeless rom with jokers kernel!!!
I just want to say thank you so much to the devs, honestly I was dying to find a rom like this and was about to downgrade to a galaxy nexus until I found the lifeless rom!
Only complaint is that there isn't Google now.. Damn ics
Phone looks just like my nexus 7 now just much fast I love it
I really feel like everyone should be running this rom it's absolutely amazing! :good:

But thanks, I'm glad you liked the ROM.

I easily get three hours or more of screen on time which was difficult for any of my previous phones I was lucky if I got two hours. And this battery is only a but bigger at 2100. I'm hoping once the kernel gets worked on more (thanks devs) well get some crazy battery life from this monster

Yea I agree, I do prefer stock JB, but the current AOKP or CM builds just aren't stable enough for me. Touchwiz is perfectly fine though.

wow.. i cant wait till there is a test version of this rom available for the masses. Im constantly going back between CM10 and Diet ICS/kyanROm. I simply dont have good battery life with ICS roms, but with CM10, its a day and night difference in terms of battery consumption. Only downside to Cm10 is that there is no access to netflix just yet.
But Cm10 is a work in progress (WIP), so it will get better, as it already has, in due time.
still prefer the pure bean!

the difference in performance alone when you drop touchwiz is enough for me to deal with that stuff
i did kind of get used to s-voice, but it made the home button laggy and couldnt be bound to another gesture

I cant wait for this to leak for our phones. I have always hated touch wiz. But I have to admit, I don't mind it on the s3. From the looks of that video it looks like a good mash up.
Google now was featured. And it seems there are some problems with the build, at least if the thread on xda is any indication. Good to see Samsung is working on it though!

Same here. I used to hate TouchWiz, but the one on SGS3 is pretty bearable and very smooth.
This JB leak is definitely welcome. Let's just remove that S voice and start using Google Now.
If someone can just port the camera app onto CM10, it will be golden.

[Off Topic] Rants/Trolls/???

Figured I open this new fishing lure to vent out anything that needs to be said without judgement or complaining. So if you have something you need to get off your chest do, it here...
Don't matter the topic or subject, just take the 2 minutes it would take to type it out and bash someone that obviously owes you nothing and express it here. Don't mention Dev/Rom but have at it and keep it PG-13 as possible. Could be an app that has you busting your head open, a mod or tweak... doesn't matter.Bring it here. Either ICS or JB. Makes no difference. If you have a issue that maybe someone else can help you out on, and they actually do just be kind enough to atleast say thank you. So have bout it!!!!
I'm super pissed that people can't just stop complaining about things that work pretty flawless. People argue ICS is more stable than JB. I find this to be incorrect. If that were the case, I haven't had an SOD or RR since September 18th. ICS is just an outdated OS as far as a technical stand point.

Still one advantage to ICS and that's battery life. Slapped Darkside Evolution v8 back on the other day just for hahas and got a sweet 4 hours and 12 minutes of screen on time. CM10 has always been a battery hog for me as compared to AOKP. AOSP Liquid RC7 with tweaks, CPUSleeper and flapjack kernel gives unbelievable speeds and battery times. I'll have to do a battery drain test throughout the day once I hit full charge.

I'm disappointed with the newest LiquidSmooth ROM release, the RC8. It has numerous bugs that need to be sorted out, the first post in the thread for it isn't very organized (yes yes, I know reading the post would lead to less bricks, but nonetheless) and the changelog hasn't been updated for weeks. RC7 was quite perfect as it was. The RC8 could have waited until a changelog was finalized, posted, the bugs were worked out a bit better and the OP was at hand to address the issues.
(On the good side, RC7 is my favourite ROM yet by far. I'm only disappointed because I'm holding liquid up to the highest standard)
Yes, I know; no names/devs. But can't be that ambiguous.

Great article man the truth for real!!!
The purpose of the link is to reiterate the fact that a) in the start of all of this, the originals did this for the rush of making something better than what was published. b) the steady request of donations. Truthfully, those guys never asked for a penny. But now everyone asks for donations. Lol!!! c) none of the software released by devs its official firmware. Its all mods, tweaks, build prop adds but nonetheless is all for testing purpose. So why in ****s sake does anyone complain. Instead of complaining, build or create something better. As the link included says, the originals learned code. They built from scratch.
Now that's no me saying I'm a Dev or a "kanger". I'm deff not but I do read. Is it not frustrating enough to read every single thread and pages upon pages of ppl steady saying g how bad **** is? Wtf, if you don't like it well don't freaking use it. Either way that's my some what of a rant

Where are all the AeonFluxx people going?? :)

Well seems our man MikHail has gotten himself a job and stopped support for his AeonFluxx ROM and locked up the thread
This is the 2nd time a ROM I loved has lost its dev(Kyan was the 1st), so its off to look for a new ROM and I wondered where my peeps from Aeon are heading, birds of a feather and all lol... I'm all about performance and good battery minus the bling or dev injected themes which both Aeon and Kyan were also built on so I was wondering what good, stable, non-buggy ROM, performance enhanced and good battery life have you guys found??
PS:Thanks Mik for all your hard work, Dude you had one hell of a ROM there!!

When the f*ck did we get ice cream??
Problem is not many devs have this phone at all. Unfortunately on similar less than popular phones it has taken nearly a year to have a few ROMs that are worthy of being a daily driver. Happens a lot when you deviate from mainstream. I'm only interested in mods and overclocked kernals or maybe if it were really great, stock based ROMs myself. CM 10.1 is good but with any device it takes forever to have a RC, most never do. Plus the loss of the lg ir remote app would eat at me and I love love the pop up texts.
I'm doing the same thing...I keep checking around the web every few hours hoping to find some aosp to flash.
