So I had clockworkmod installed andworking beautifly but now the update for the ouya is messing things up. It goes to update and install then during reboot it boots to clockworkmod and no update is installed. I cant cancel the update and do anything with the ouya because of this. Anyone have any ideas? also The cwm looks funky again http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2369317 as seen here from another thread of mine. I was able to get it to look normal with a manual flash of cwm but when it does this update and reboots cwm looks like that.
Thanks in advance
I ran into the same problem with the last 2 updates with clockworkmod, and ended up plugging in an old USB keyboard. When it booted to clockworkmod I could then navigate through a messed up looking screen and pick the correct option to accept the update.
The latest update didn't work like that, though. It came through 12/3 or 12/4? It would reboot and I kept losing video, then would power back up and redownload with the video on and off. To fix that I ended up following these directions and doing a reset. Then it did the update, and )I believe) reloaded the stock recovery. At least it works now, though...

HOW TO RECOVER:
This is a hack, an unintended sequence of events that results in recovery mode; what you need to do is crash the startup using sysrq.
For this you'll need a usb keyboard with the sysrq key, this is usually the printscreen button if your keyboard isn't labeled. As the OUYA starts to boot, hold down the alt-sysrq keys and press i, wait a few seconds and then repeat. This key combination is kill-all-tasks; thanks to whoever left this enabled in the kernel. Each time you kill the tasks the init process will restart them, after about 5 or 6 times init will print a warning on the console that one of the processes marked critical has been restarted too many times -- this then triggers an automatic reboot into recovery mode.
Unfortunately it's not always obvious when the ouya is in recovery mode. You might get screen with the ouya logo and a large red exclamation mark, or the screen might be entirely black; usually I got a black screen. Press the home button on the keyboard to bring up the recovery menu; it's actually a toggle so feel free to press the home button repeatedly until you see the menu since the timing isn't otherwise obvious.

My friend gave me HTC Desire HD (for free) saying I could keep it. It worked for about a month and then out of nowhere just stopped working.
I tried:
- Holding power button
- Holding power + volume button
- Holding power + other volume button
But nothing happens.
When I connect it to USB cable, an orange dot starts blinking on the left top of the phone and ClockWorkMod opens (note: I'm not pressing ANY button, it opens itself).
But after Clockworkmod opens, it closes before I can get to do anything. Clockworkmod is there for about 5-10 seconds and then the phone shuts back down and I need to reconnect it to usb cable again to show clockworkmod again, or sometimes the clockworkmod shows itself back again for no reason.
I tried doing some stuff like installing rom from sdcard, but clockwork mod closes before I can even choose any option, or even if I do get to choose it, the screen turns black again in the middle of the operation.
I sadly don't have any other info on the phone at the moment because my friend isn't available, All I can tell is that the ClockworkMod is version v5.0.2.7 and it says "Ace hack kit" with blue font in the middle of the screen.
I need the phone for development purposes so it would be really great if someone could help me fix it, any idea what could be wrong? thank you!
EDIT: I also have no information on which ROM was on that phone and if it is really rooter or not (but since there is ClockworkMod on it I'm almost sure it was rooted, I don't know much about that stuff though so I can't say anything

Can you get to fastboot if you hold down vol down while you plug it in (from completely off)? This would help to get some more info on the phone status.
Hey guys...so i got an error message for...System.img to large failed.
stupidly rebooted watch...now bricked. stuck at Huawei logo without animation...adb devices, blank.
i'm assuming this thing needs to be sent in?
NEVERMIND!
Step 1: Put the Watch to Fastboot Mode
1) Hold down the power button
2) The screen will go black for about 2 seconds and then boot into the Huawei logo. Keep holding down the power button.
3) Wait for the first vibration, release the power button and then immediately give the power button one short press.
crap...adb devices doesn't detect!
got it...did
flash-all.bat
waited for it to show waiting for devices...then reboot by hand into bootloader as shown in first post. YAY!
hello
i searched the whole internet but there are not much informations about this Phone so i thought i make a new Thread
about the panasonic DCM-CM1 Factory Reset.
please write here any informations and experience you have about the Panasonic DMC-CM1
i never saw someone on youtube google or any other side or anyone who can tell me how to do a Factory Reset with this phone
today i called 5 Panasonic service numbers but noone can help, i also called about 10 Phone Service points for repair no one can help.
i tryed so much with this phone and i finaly found that the CM1 have a Secret key combination to connect it with USB as a Android ADB Interface without having acces to the phone cause it is screen locked.
1 .Turn Phone off
2. press Camera + Volume-up + Power ( Hold )
3. while Holding connect USB. (Hold)
4 .the LED should go green for maybe 2 seconds release all bottons while the led is green before it turns off and then the LED must still green.
then windows found a Android ADB Interface
if im in android SDK Tools i the phone will be found in fastboot!
if i type Fastboot Devices
the other thing i know is how to start in Save mode.
but this is nothing to help with a lost pin.. it only starts the phone without apps that have been installed by the user.
maybe for deinstalling a app or a buggy app.. dont know..
start phone at the screen for the pin or at the home menu..press the power botton hold for 2-4 seconds or so it ask for Shut down Restart and so.. just press and hold Shut down. and then it ask you if you want to start in Save mode. then press yes.
2 weeks ago i wanted to make a Screen lock with a pin for more secure.. i cant remeber the pin anymore thats why i want to make a Factory reset i think im not the only one. so any information would be nice
if there is someone who made Factory Reset with this phone or was able to start in fast boot or anything.. please share the infos with us!
thank you.
I have TWRP and LineageOS with Magisk installed on my A50. Normally, when my phone boots, I get the following sequence:
1. Phone vibrates.
2. Samsung Logo appears for a very short time, with bootloader unlocked warning at the bottom.
3. A screen showing a bootloader unlock warning at the top and "PRESS POWER KEY TO CONTINUE" appears.
4. After a while or if you press the power key, an additional unofficial software warning appears in red letters at the bottom.
5. After some time the phone continues to boot normally.
My problem is that after the latest reboot ("reboot into recovery" via power menu), it gets stuck at step 4 and won't continue to boot, neither recovery nor system, even if I wait for tens of minutes.
What I've tried:
-reboot with volume +/-/poweroff
-reboot with volume volume -/poweroff
-all of the following with and without USB connected to PC:
-power/volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
None of these helped. I just get the normal sequence 1-4 and then stuck every damn time. Can't get into recovery or download mode. Can't even power off, obviously.
Is my phone gone for good?
same **** here. for me i cant charge the battery too. but before that with about the same problems i got it to work again for a few days.
now hangs on step 4

With some help I managed to get into download mode, and from there reflash stock rom with ODIN.
Basically, you need to reboot the phone with power/vol+/vol- and as soon as the screen goes black, you release power but keep pressing the volume buttons, and also immediately connect the USB cable with the PC. Timing is key.

bro, you helped me alot, i'm stucked at this screen maybe 2 hours I didnt know what to do.
Btw, I've it just in 1 time =))
I got a way easier Method which has saved me several times
Is something i came up myself
Il be as precise as i can be so everyone understands!
1.Plug the phone to the wall (Your charger to the outlet)
2. Hold Power And Volume - (Volume down) until the phone shows the second charging animation (Which is the one after the first image of the phone charging [A circle with the lightning icon in the middle], this second screen shows a charging animation and the percentage of the battery) This indicates that the phone is fully Turned Off
3. Unplug your phone and the charger off the wall and bring it to your computer
4. Plug your cable to your Computer then back on your phone Hold Volume + and Volume - (Volume up and Volume Down) and plug your phone to your computer WHILE HOLDING BOTH VOLUME BUTTONS.
This little trick will put your phone in download mode so you can restore your device using Odin OR Flash Twrp with Odin and boot to right into Twrp (There is a way to do it without turning the phone on and having to go back to step 1, Follow this Tutorial to do it
(
)
I Hope this helps you all
And Happy Flashing!
