Hi, can anyone make linaro rom for our gio? It's the best performance rom, and very stable, based at 4.0.4 ;D

CM9 is adopting the changes linaro made
so when CM9 is updated, we'll get it aswell when galaxy ICS is updated afterwards
not sure if our device will benefit form it
Its sounds great. I hope galaxyics make it.

So what is the best AOSP rom out there for the HOX, both JB and ICS. I am thinking of finally getting AOSP and was wondering what have people's experiences been with so many roms out there. For both ICS and JB TripNRaver and Tbalden's roms are my top choices right now. I was wondering which is more stable and has better battery life. It seems that both of them have stopped working on their ICS roms in favor of JB roms. TripNRaver's rom is RC2 and Tbaldens is Beta 5, should i just go with Trip's rom seeing that his was atleast a RC as opposed beta? And what about JB, whose JB rom is better for everyday use?
EDIT: By best i mean which has less bugs and is more stable
There is no best rom, the best rom is what works best for you, it's always good to try them out personally and see how they meet your needs. If you don't like it try another one until you find the best one that caters for you.

Yeah I get that i just meant which is more stable and has less bugs
Also, will there be an official CM10 for the HOX like there is for the SGS 3 and other devices?
it seems like cyanogenmod doesn't support htc one x? WHY?

It's still in alpha I don't think the cynagon team will release officially until it's stable. They haven't released cm10 on the sg3
IMHO tbalden alpha4 is the most stable its my daily

ohh.. i just thought since htc one x isn't listed on the cyanogenmod, its not officially supported by them. And I thought all these CM9 and CM10 roms for the HOX are just ported from other cyanogenmod roms??
Hey Everyone,
Been messing with my kindle since I got it at release, but more or less put it down due to time/new phone (HTC One X whutup).
I know before I put it down, I was having a lot of trouble with the new ICS roms and battery life. Has Hashcodes kernal / the roms that are around now gotten to be more gingerbread-like with their battery life?
I know on stock, and with a little bit of tweaking on one of the GB roms, the battery would easily go a week while just reading. I'm just looking to go for a day in general =P
Looks like this rom may be more for you

And btw my Ics rom lasts all day with just a charge nightly... moderate to mild use... if I just left it in standby it will last 4 to 5 days... but cm7 will definitely last much longer

Thanks a bunch for the suggestion =) I just flashed Jandycane to test it out.
Which ROM according to you is the best ICS ROM for our little HTC Wildfire?
Please help!
*thumbs up to all who reply*
Thank you:good:
CyanogenMod 9.1 of Jordfaz! One of the smoothest, in my opinion!
Here is the link:

Yes try jordfaz ROM but not the 'mini' one 'cause the sensorbuttons don't work

If you would like, jordfazs miui is awesome. Themes make it ics version.
'BAZINGA'!
I still like erwinP's Ics. It's quiet smooth after a few tweaks and with cornmod script it is awesome.

Currently running jordfaz rom with S2E and without ant MTD partitioning. Its smooth and bug-less. You should try it..
i also recommend cm9.1 by jordfaz. after few days of testing i can tell that almost everything works and it's the fastest ics i have seen

Yeah CM9 by ErwinP. ICS is the limit for wildfire though, also installed CM10 JB 4.1.2 on my wildfire. It's is working but so slow and lagging. It's like wildfire can't handle it. Also like the 7 CM Nightly builds
i am testing pator's miui v4 and it works great so far (; give a try

Devs all thought that, first they said that Froyo is the limit till they discovered Gingerbread and thought that was the limit. Then ICS came out and ICS became the limit... We never know whether the limit will change or not, pretty amazing
Aokp light is also good

Hi guys,
I'm currently running Ultimate HD 3.0.2 and am quite happy with it. However, since the xperia pro device was developed in GB times, I was wondering if it would generally run smoother and faster on a tweaked 2.x.x rom. Am I right? If so, which Kernel/ROM would you recommend for travelling back in time?
Thanks,
pan
Yes GB works better than any ICS or JB ROM in universe but performance comes at a cost of design and features. Basically no Holo for you.
---------- Post added at 03:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:07 PM ----------
Also GB font is ugly as ****.

And next time ask your questions in Q&A.

Yes it is really bad in design and font is also baas and too big .. I downloaded font resizer paid app
And it requires root and font is smaller and you can see more on your display
For design i modded the framework and replaced the pngs from my mothers xperia S themed framework with the pngs with my framework i using now atomic gb v7 and it is really fast
And it has full xperia S design and look better than the normal atomic framework
My batter also lasts longer with gb about 13 hours moderate usage
In jb or ics only 7 hours moderage usage
If yoz want the framework just pm me xd

with ultima kernel 1.1.1 for gb and wifi models 1.1 (for wifi fix ) from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1600165
and for camera use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569309
Stay with GB... Having performance issues and battery drain since i updated to JB :/ The ram is not enough to run JB oder ICS smooth...
GB is rock, very smooth
Try X-Gamer GB Rom . It's very awesome. With ANTUTU i earned over 7000 points.
