Most stable(and least buggy) AOSP rom - HTC One X

So what is the best AOSP rom out there for the HOX, both JB and ICS. I am thinking of finally getting AOSP and was wondering what have people's experiences been with so many roms out there. For both ICS and JB TripNRaver and Tbalden's roms are my top choices right now. I was wondering which is more stable and has better battery life. It seems that both of them have stopped working on their ICS roms in favor of JB roms. TripNRaver's rom is RC2 and Tbaldens is Beta 5, should i just go with Trip's rom seeing that his was atleast a RC as opposed beta? And what about JB, whose JB rom is better for everyday use?
EDIT: By best i mean which has less bugs and is more stable

There is no best rom, the best rom is what works best for you, it's always good to try them out personally and see how they meet your needs. If you don't like it try another one until you find the best one that caters for you.

Yeah I get that i just meant which is more stable and has less bugs

Also, will there be an official CM10 for the HOX like there is for the SGS 3 and other devices?

it seems like cyanogenmod doesn't support htc one x? WHY?

It's still in alpha I don't think the cynagon team will release officially until it's stable. They haven't released cm10 on the sg3
IMHO tbalden alpha4 is the most stable its my daily

ohh.. i just thought since htc one x isn't listed on the cyanogenmod, its not officially supported by them. And I thought all these CM9 and CM10 roms for the HOX are just ported from other cyanogenmod roms??

Recommend a stable Jelly bean ROM

Hi can someone please recommend a stable CM10 jellybean ROM? I have been using tbaldens nighties but the BSOD is touch of an issue for me to continue using the night lies.
Thanks for your help.

There isn't any.. Although I'm having minimal problems with the 019 tbalden nightly. No bsods

Why don't you try going back to beta 1 or 2. Especially beta 1 was very good for me
Also, htc is expected to release jb update for hox in October. Once released, everything will become more stable.

Thanks Eyosen. What are you running? Is the BSOD not an issue for you?
Strange I know, but no problems for me whatsoever. There were few quirks but reflashing solved them. I am using bricked 0.6 kernel btw. Great battery life for my usage. 12:45 since last charge, 3:24 screen on, 45 minutes phone calls, still 27% left. Calls, emails, xda, no gaming. Maybe I am not taxing the phone too much. :fingerscrossed:
Once in awhile I get very high values of audioout_3 wakelock but rebooting solves that.

Thanks, I shall try the bricked 0.6 kernel. I'll have a look for it mate. Thanks agin, you are a legend.
Thanks for the compliment but I am nothing but a curious guy who likes to learn and help. That's all.
Some people are having problems with that kernel while watching youtube, smsing, etc. Read first so you won't get surprises.

The nightlys have been rock solid for me with NCX kernel. I believe most of the current issues are caused by the CM10 kernel which is still in the early stages of development by Show-p.
I am also using the latest nightlies, 28th now and bricked 0.6 kernel with no serious problems to mention.

Up to and including beta 1, showp's latest mpdecision routines weren't included in the kernel and it was traditional in a sense, so not many kernel related issues were there. Since he is working really hard to get current issues resolved with the new routines, it's just a matter of time.

Hey, I tried them all, none of them gave me the consistency I was looking for, but before I was going back to Sense (RD-MIUI) cause I was convinced that every Jelly Bean ROM isn't that stable, I tried IceColdJelly AOKP, and its amazing. Definitely try it, its the best for me.

[Q] Sense 4.5 / 4+ and Jelly Bean/CM10

Hey guys,
Just a quick question. Seeing all the great ROM development going on here (basically, we have 99% functional CM10, and full Sense 4.1 ported as well), I was just wondering: why is there no development going on on porting Sense 4.5 to our CM10 base? Is it only because it's only on higher resolution devices and thus the screen size doesn't match? Or is there some greater difference here?
A semi-related question: would it be possible to port Sense 4.1 to a Jelly Bean base?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

Lol, I didn't mean that HTC used CM9 as a base, rather shubham when he developed Amazing Sense. Of course I could be wrong

I guess the reason nobody gives you an answer may be, that those, who use CM may hate Sense, otherwise they'd maybe use a custom-rom with Sense.
However, knowing CM to be very stable and well developed, I'd like to have it with Sense, too. I like Sense!
I just compared it to my mom's new Galaxy SIII's interface, and it kicks the Galaxy's ass! Alone the Sense text-input is so much better, coming already close to SmartKeyboard's, which may not be as nice as Swift, but is still pretty clever. Or the way Sense does folders! Just drop one icon onto another. Can't be easier. Search everyhwere, even in the app screen, very nice. Apps are not about looks, but about functionality, all go hand in hand, very nice. And the music-player! Wow! Really like it. Only the status/info-bar in the Galaxy is a killer. You can switch on/off all important things from it, WiFi, Blutooth, PowerSaving mode (which is nice), sync, GPS, areoplane mode, etc.
ha ha... i tried to put sense ui on MIUI once... it was a disaster... :silly:
I would love to see sense + jellybean! I'm a big fan of Google Now and it has an update which adds more cards and I can't update it running extreme sense.

ICS ROM for HTC Wildfire

Currently running jordfaz rom with S2E and without ant MTD partitioning. Its smooth and bug-less. You should try it..
i also recommend cm9.1 by jordfaz. after few days of testing i can tell that almost everything works and it's the fastest ics i have seen

Yeah CM9 by ErwinP. ICS is the limit for wildfire though, also installed CM10 JB 4.1.2 on my wildfire. It's is working but so slow and lagging. It's like wildfire can't handle it. Also like the 7 CM Nightly builds

Devs all thought that, first they said that Froyo is the limit till they discovered Gingerbread and thought that was the limit. Then ICS came out and ICS became the limit... We never know whether the limit will change or not, pretty amazing

[Q] best rom?

Hm...
There's many rom for galaxy w but wondering which is the best?
Do you like ics or jb? If you prefer jb it is still have some bug but a lot new feature, so if you don't mind then try jb.
But if not try cm9 rc4 it is the most stable ics of all. And you can find other ics based rom that is been customized either. Just try some man, you can even know if yoy didn't try. After all rom is just personal preference

I had the same doubts, and I chose to use the CM-9, very good!
Is it really worth upgrading to CM9 RC4?
I use Bagux 1.4 rom, GB with custom go Launcher. So what would change if i installed CM9 and had the same launcher too? Any advantages to CM9 over GB on our device?

I'd recommend you to stick with CyanogenMod 9 as it's the cleanest ROM out there. No mods/scripts/tweaks so you have the freedom to flash whatever you want. And you're gonna get the updates first too as the other ROMs are based on CM9 and it takes a day or a week for them to update to the latest release.

Slim Bean is the perfect combination of speed and features for me. AK Kernel is the best kernel I have ever run, concerning battery life and smoothness. I highly recommend it.

Thanks. Trying it now.
As my sig states, I'm running JellyBro CM10.1 nightlies (I update every week or so) and AK Kernel. I'm currently on AK Diamond v33. So far, it seems that Dynamic FSync is helping performance, though I need to let the phone get some longer uptime to be certain.
I'm currently running Carbon 1.6 with AK's Diamond kernel. Incredibly smooth even while underclocked. Not to mention I generally get pretty darn good battery life with Carbon. Sometimes up to 4.5 hours of screen on time with a 2200mah battery.
Where exactly can I find AK kernel? This is such a nooby question I just can't seem to find it
