Hello All, just wondering what everyone is getting
your Sunspider benchmark results. Here's mine @1.6 Ghz and 1.8 Ghz
Btw, I've been running @1.8 Ghz for awhile now with great battery life! Couldn't be happier with this phone 969 and 873
Sorry guys.. How do you attach your screen shots here?

I only score 11626 with the linpack app. I have seen people saying they get around 38000. I cant figure out evt i cant get a higher score. Does anyone know why that may be.
Ps og thisted is not the right place
to post this plz say so.

I scored 22 the other when I tried, I removed the app since. I didn't like how it needed voice call permission, seemed dodgy.

15-30 is a normal result for linpack, its just a cpu benchmark, and depends on your current cpu load, i just ran one now to check and got 27.485mflops
I have now been running it several times and I ever get above 13, even after restart.
U say it says something about CPU load. So how do I lower it, so I can get a higher score. As I have understood it, the lower CPU load the more battery.
I'm still running the standard sense, how much more battery could I have if I were to switch to what u have in here?

Certainly is, that was on stock sense with buzz kernel.
I got 42 max, on stock, not rooted 2.3.3. That's OK I guess.
And on quadrant I got 1600.
mmm u seen the performance post of honeysense??? it´s awesome... has 2012 frames in quadrant!!! see post#415

[Q] Lemon Processor? [Solved]

After owning the Galaxy S3 for 2 months and doing lots of flashing of roms and kernels, I've decided that I have a lemon CPU. So my GSIII can't score over 6000 in Antutu, even at 2Ghz/Performance (it actually scored 4800 @ that speed), because the processor score is so low. The highest I've scored in Quadrant is ~5800, @ 2Ghz/Performance. I can't undervolt below 1050/1075 mv @ 384 because I get crackling when listening to music. It runs all smooth though. I had some performance issues in NOVA 3, but I think that was a rom issue. So, what do you guys think?
The rom you use will drastically change your benchmarking scores. For instance. I used to always get under 6000 in Antutu on every TW rom. OCd to 2 GHz as well. Now I am running JB CM10 and am getting well over 8000. No crackling in music while undervolt etc.
Your CPU is fine

I tried CM10 too though... About a month ago. Same 4900ish score. I got like 6000 one time on a TW rom.
Edit: I retract that. I tried the new JB TW rom and got 6000... with power saver... on Antutu. Maybe I just have a finicky CPU! Looks like for the first time ever, with the JB TW Rom, I hit a few points of 8000 in Antutu and 6000 in Quadrant... I don't know what the deal is. I have been trying different roms since the beginning of August and then today I tried a new one that worked for me. I guess I retract my question. Thanks!
Anytime! Remember those benchmarks can vary drastically even between test. A reboot could give you an extra 1000. Use them with a grain of salt.
Don't forget to use sunspider! Its a web based benchmark that tests your browsers speed.

One X - Lower Quadrant score / Android Rev. HD 9.7.2

Hi there,
It seems like everyone has 6000 in Quadrant on his One X , using Android Revolution HD, wich is stock.
I don't seem to get higher then 5350 in Quadrant, same thing happens for Antutu benchmark where I get around 12500,
and else get like 13000. I did a quick comparison and the cpu scores somehow looks lower then others.
I have a variant 1, stock boot.img android revolution HD 9. Anyone got an explanation / fix for this?
Thanks
Well, i heard that people say that Quadrant is not stable and chaining score all the time. I tested it and it's true Quadrant is not the best benchmark app. I can recommend you AnTuTu it's much more accurate and better!
It seems that my I/O score is half the score of someone else, I get around 5k instead of 10k

Not only that but scores are higher in the paid than free version, antutu is a better test as said, you should score between 10 and 12 k.

Antutu should 'always' be higher than 12k since the 4.0.4 update.
It will only ever be less if battery is running low.

[Q] GN II Sunspider Score?

Can somebody who already has their phone post a score from the sunspider benchmark?
Phonearena gave a score of 10xx in their review which is fantastic if confirmed. I know it's a rather meaningless score but it does goes to show Samsung are really spending resources optimizing the software over and above what Google has already done.
I got 1008...
1012.7
With Chrome = 1192.7
With default browser 1025,5
Thanks guys! Those are some great scores. The S3 in comparison gets 14xx with the CPU running 200 mhz slower.
1053 in the stock browser
1133 in the popup browser
Not as good as ifruit 5 but still really good

Mine is 577 with stock and 495 with chrome.Overclocked to 2ghz tho.
With default 1.6 ghz is 587 with chrome.I didnt test it with stock but i guess it will be around 600 or so..
Yea, I'm resurrecting the thread, but this would be the only place to post my SunSpider results for a Galaxy Note II. I got 832.

BENCHMARK SCORES! - post your best scores!

Lets all post our Benchmarks!
I am using Antutu Benchmark found at the play store for free
I am currently running the Infamous1.5 ROM based on android 4.1.2
with the Infamous kernel .7.4 by Jamison904
BTW... I have about 85 or so personal apps installed in this mod
I am also running the World Weather Clock Widget at the same time
and I am not running any kernel tweaking software...
here is my score...
btw what is benchmark?

a benchmark is basically a set of tests to see how fast your phone is running
here is the dictionary meaning...
bench·mark
/ˈbenCHˌmärk/
Noun
A standard or point of reference against which things may be compared or assessed.
Verb
Evaluate or check (something) by comparison with a standard: "we are benchmarking our performance against external criteria".
if you want to compare your device to others
go to playstore and download Antutu Benchmark and run it
I know my device would score low...I'm setup for stability and battery life.
Those with really high scores are tweaked for Max performance and probably carry an a/c charger in their pockets!

AOKP JB MR1 milestone 1.
Stock kernel. Both Cpu cores underclocked to 1.35 Ghz
Btw about 115 personal apps no mods at the moment.
Aaaaand with only one hour of screen time this is the battery life I get.

Actually I posted a benchmark and mentioned that screen was on for one hour. It was mainly a response to an earlier post about high performance means battery sacrifice. More people on this forum need to learn the balance between power vs stability/battery. Not directed at anyone in particular btw

My buddies Nexus 4 scores around 20k with cm 10.1 and some random kernel. I can't wait to get rid of this thing and upgrade.
Also, I scores 3700 in Quadrant and around 9k in Antutu. Running stock CM 10.1.

That's great and all, but hardly surprising. It's about double in scores because it has double the cores. Personally for me this would have no positive effect on my phone usage, but I would have a worse camera and have to use an lcd screen.

Yea.. not for me. A much faster phone would be nice. The Nexus 4 is much faster and smoother on all fronts. I've had 3 t989s and the camera is absolutely nothing to write home about. Compared to an exynos powered GS2, the sensor on this camera sucks.. and don't say theyre the same because they are not. SAMOLED is awesome but outdoors it's a pile of sh*t.
Point is, to each their own.
