Here's my kernel and version.
If you are unable to seethe images, I'm running paranoid android 2.99 with Franco kernel.
I have tried other kernels too, but same results.
The phone is about 7 months old and has the stock battery. I haven't bought an extended battery or anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

OK some info might help, what were you using your phone for? Looking at the peaks and fall rates it doesn't look like your phone is being prevented from deep sleep.

I usually use it for listening to some music while going to college or just playing a game or browsing the net during a lecture.
The drops aren't that intense while my screen is off.

Perhaps give BetterBatteryStats a try to see what is draining your battery.

Battery help?

So I recently flashed sorcery 2.3 flashed Franco's latest stable. And now I have media server as a battery drain along with Apollo as a drain. 4 hours of the charger and I'm already at 41%
Could it be the kernel? Or the rom never had this issue before but now its a little ridiculous

what is apollo?
Music app normally comes with cyanogen but its also with sorcery. Its a system app

You probably have a corrupt media file somewhere on your /sdcard which mediaserver and/or apollo try to index but causes them to loop. Remove all media files from your phone to see if that stops mediaserver/apollo from using that much resources (or place .nomedia files in all folders with media files).
Could be why did it only happen on sorcery my previous rom codenameandroid and this problem didn't occur

Maps seems to be eating alot of my battery

The only thing I had on which I recently turned off was update location automatically. Anything else I might be overlooking.

Google Now uses maps. So if you have it enabled, that could be why. Mine uses a little, but I do not use it much for commutes so that might be why it does not use much battery.

I had the same issue but keeping GPS off (when not needed) fixed it.

This is what my battery usage for maps looks like. It used to not drain this much. I haven't even turned on Google Now on a fresh ROM install.

Does newly flashed rom give better battery performance?

Whenever i flash a new rom particularly stock rom (as i have not been too much into custom ones), the battery performance of my GNex has been overwhelming. But after a few days of working the performance decreases. Is this normal?

Currently i am on a rooted GNex running 4.2.1 stock deodexed

Flash 4.1.2, it's supposed to be better on battery life. Here's mine on stock Google 4.1.2:

My phone usage is mostly light and about 2 hours of screen time. I had like 1d 16h with the Nexus S, but looks like with the GN it's possible even longer.
I flashed udk's 4.1.2 & cyanogenmod 10 previously.but those roms also drained my battery,so i returned to stock firstly 4.2 odexed, then 4.2.1 deodexed.the problem starts after rebooting the device after a complete discharge of battery(approximately the 3rd to 5th boot after flashing)

Were any apps listed at the top of the list for your battery usage stats? Facebook sometimes drains my battery like crazy so i have to force close it and restart the app if I want.

you should give more information.
This is all the usage.

Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
no need to flash anything ! just reboot your phone a few times ! something got messed up in the kernel . wiping cache and delvik cache can also help

Does this mean that i should change the kernel to get better battery ?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Dropbox is causing a high wakelock
If you are using a custom rom derived from stock, yes try stock rom with stock kernel
Seeing how your two highest kernel wakelocks are kind of hard to diagnose, i suggest you try a different kernel. The other wakelocks aren't big issues. Is your wifi signal weak?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
No wifi is good in my house and on all the roms I have had on my phone the wifi has been 24/7 without any problems.
Will change the kernel and see what happens.
I am using liquid cm 10.1

Ok used redphil kernel for a day now and battery life is so much better now.
