if anyone has ever had a problem with the charging ... I have a problem when charging my sony arc logo always appears, then die and reappear sony logo. and the charging indicator light is blue. The problem I am trying to re-flash and re-root my arc, but at the re-install rom manager and CWM, when charging, always returning to the charging problem. What has any information regarding this case and the solution.
Thank you.
Have you installed cwm... You need to update which was fixed in v5 the offline charging in cwm is common problem.
If able to switch on the keep plugged in and charge.

Update the cwm app to xparts from play store.
Install app then, click to install cwm into system.
Using roor explorer navigate to sd card/xparts folder and copy the recovery.tar to system/bin setting the permissions like the screen shot.
If still have probs try this chargeMon file again set permissions like the recovery. Tar move to system/bin
Link for chargemon file.

Just flash clean stock ics with Flashtool. Then flash your Stock+ Kernel and then flash XZX 2 from CWM. That should take care of all software issues.
Ty for answer i realised my led config under /sys/class/leds are gone. Maybe someone upload that folder for me ? Thank you.

To install a custom rom, I wipe data reset.. I also wipe cache partition.. Then install custom rom. But it say " error status 7. Installation aborted" then, I chose reboot now. Now, my lovely Sony xperia arc stuck at Sony Ericsson logo and can't get into Recovery mode again. I have tried so many ways by pressing combo buttoms but still being stuck at the logo . Can Anyone save my phone?? Is it Bricked now?? please help!! I love arc.

Cyanogen Modded Slim Bean
Your phone model, LT15 or LT18 ?
Sent from my Xperia Arc S using xda premium
Nope.. I'm just trying to upgrade from jb. My phone is LT15i. I think status error 7 is due to broken. Md5

Please some one help me. I have MIUI installed on my Xperia S with unlocked bootloader. After flashing MIUI ROM I am not able to boot into recovery.Previous method (taping sony logo) is not working at all. Please some one help me. I need to get into recovery and change this ROM. Thanks in advance....
Dude,
If your on v5 like me.
Hold your power button, chose reboot from the menu.
The options should then be reboot, recovery and then boot loader.
Hope this helps.

Thanks bro, I have tried, but reboot menu only have one item. Which is a normal reboot. Btw, I am on V4. I have tried some app like Quickboot, Rom manager etc but when I tap reboot to recovery button it performs a normal reboot. Not booting into recovery...
Is v4 running off the fxp kernel? Using cm10 as a base?
If so when it boots up and shows free xperia logo. And your led goes purple press up on the volume to get in to recovery.

I think it has stock MIUI kernel. And when booting first it shows a sony white logo (not sony ericsson) and then MIUI logo. I tried keep pressing volume up but no luck. And there is no LED lights up at all...
Have you tried the volume buttons when the Sony logo appears?
Try both up and down.

Yes...I tried both. When I press volume down button it reboots into Safe mode.
The only other thing I can think of is to re install your recovery.
If that don't work extract your recovery files and then use flash tool to revert back to stock.
Then install recovery and drop the files back in.
