... and? I mean, honestly... that's what you base your opinion of a company on? Not their horrible customer service or their amazingly increase in dropped calls? LoL
I know we all want the latest and greatest but I sometimes question why everyone loves the official releases of these updates/patches... this exploit was sealed up by the amazing devs on this site many moons ago yet everyone gets a half-stack when an official release comes out.

well at least its not like when I was with verizon. Love the blazing fast 4g speed but updates what are they. always months behind the other carriers updates if you got it at all. then the locked bootloaders.

New to the cell phone world hm? It's pretty rare for an update to hit an entire country at the same second.

Carrier updates? Lmao people round these parts update there own s hit

really...if you care about ota updates from your carrier, you really don't belong on XDA..

Well said, sir. Well said.

Thread Closed and OP if you are unhappy with your Carrier you can always switch....but bottom-line XDA is not here for Members to rant on about their Carriers, Thank You.

This is not for our devices its for global, carrier unlocked versions. The First gen galaxy S2 with the hardware home button. And wont help us much if any at all.

It is somewhat good news nonetheless. Means we will get a bite of ICS soonish...

spelling and device are wrong. Tell us alot less about the status of t989 builds than the skyrocket leaks.

hopefully ours get updated before the GSIII announcement, or else Tmobile might delay the update so more people will buy GSIII (although I doubt they need much convincing). they're already doing this with the HTC phones

Lol, nice..I'm sending this to my gf right now..she just bought an I phone 5 and already complaining about how the device slows down and doesn't have all the features she had on her last rooted android. She even asked me to jail break it for her!! I told her it was against my religion and I couldn't sacrifice my personal integrity, then I acted like I didn't speak English until she left me alone..I love to say I told u so!! Lol

LOL! :good:

How do devs test their builds without fear of bricking?

Just a random thought, was wondering how devs do that.

Who said the devs weren't afraid of bricks? They're just generally good at avoiding them because they understand Android and their phones better than most folks. It comes with the developer territory. Anyway, I've seen plenty of devs have to quit maintaining ROMs or kernels because of bricks. They just don't generally make super-obnoxious "OMG MY PHONE IS DEAD!!!11!1 SOMEBODY HELP!!1!" threads when it happens, so it stays out of the public's attention.

Slowing down

Noticed the S3 threads seem like they're slowing down. Time to upgrade in guessing
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
You gotta be kidding me? What else are you expecting we have pretty much every rom available there's no more for people to port or and issues ect. Fell free to upgrade but do not try to Blaim it on there isn't ehnough threads.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Wasn't saying I'm going to upgrade or was I talking ****. Just saying this thread has slowed way down. People must have upgraded. I appreciate all the hard work the devs have done. So you sir can.......

i think the development threads are still busy, just hasn't been many updates in the past week. seems like there are some data issues with the latest CM nightly's, which i think might be keeping roms based on that from being updated for the time being... just my 2 cents.
Might be because most of the bus are worked out and everything is working good... I know there hasn't been much activity in my thread but there are over 450 downloads.

Thank you Motorola, now gimme my wrist flick!

Really enjoying the moto 360 this last week or so, I was considering returning but real world use has convinced me to keep using it. I use the N6 which I have slickwrapped and keep it in my pocket most of the time. I don't know if its the same for you but most of the notifications my phone gets are not what I would consider important, yet I would pull the phone out to look anyway. With the watch I filter out the fluff and find myself reaching for the phone in the pocket a lot less, and even less due to the success of the reply options for simple hangouts from friends/family with the watch. Thank you Motorola!
Looking forward to wifi and wrist gestures, gimmie gimmie gimmie.
I agree. Gimme my "wrist flick", please. [emoji1]
Same here...

Seriously! It used to seem like Motorola was first to these updates but now this one is taking forever to get here. They better be adding some good **** to the update
I asked Motorola and this was their reply.

This has been an Android problem from day one... in addition to waiting for the Firmware update for the Moto360.. I'm still waiting for my Verizon Samsung Note Edge to be updated to Lollipop!
