Is it possible to install the OLD mediascape of xperia x10 into our ARC.
sent via awesome aRc (rooted 2.3.4)

[Q] how would i get the official ics ?

now that ive flashed my phone to the ics beta for xperia play ...could ne one tell me that when the official ics realses how would i get it ? and would the sony pc companion work for me ?or would i again have to flash it ?

There will be a .ftf to flash with FlashTool

Yep. That's why I installed the generic firmware instead.

Can the Stock Sony ICS update be used with Custom Kernals it does it only work with the Stock Sony Kernal?

you can flash stock based roms like Gin2JellyBean and true ancestor and Xperia NXT as they can be used with stock kernel.

Ok so its not so bad I did the dial to get the menu like in ur post but no root menu so I guess I cant unlock it could you direct me or link me to these said roms please and Ty

Waaaat?
If you want a link for jb based rom for locked bootloader, FORGET IT.
You need custom kernel to run jb based roms, for custom kernel you need unlocked BL
