Hi Guys!
I think I need your help. In the past I´ve flashed the stock rom via odin to my galaxy nexus. Now I want to back to Stock Recovery. Bootloader looks ok, but if I connect my Galaxy Nexus i won´t get a connection by "fastboot devices", I tried to install the driver but it will not be recognized. I´ve seen if I start my phone with into recovery that it will be in Odin Mode?! I want to go back to stock recovery, does anybody know if I can go back probably without loosing any data?
thanks for your great help!

OK I've solved one issue that the Gnex would be recognized by fast boot, was an issue with windows 8. But the second thing doesn't work. I tried to flash the recovery through stock but it is still the same with Odin. I tried "fastboot erase recovery and reflash it but still the same....

If you can boot into Android then you can dd the recovery partition. That's how twrp flashes recovery I think.
Assuming of course you are still rooted

Just use 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img' with 'recovery.img' being the stock recovery

Hello,
yesterday i bought my galaxy nexus and started to root and cwm it today...
After i flashed CWM via Fastboot, i´ve tried to flash the autobrigthpatch from Paul.
After the restart in was hooked up in a bootlop.
I´ve tried to Flash a system.img via Fastboot flash system, but i think
i did something wrong.... now i´m stuck at the GoogleLogo.
Can anyone pls help me?
Another question is...
in which folder should i have to push (ADB Push) zip´s, so that CWM recognized it.
It´s definately not ADB push ROMNAME.zip /sdcard.
I tried already but cannot find anything, also after a restart.
Thank you in Advance
Try clearing cache/dalvik in CWM recovery..

didn´t work
Do you not have a backup to recover to?
If not [tut tut tut] then you could flash a stock ICS ROM over the top
There is one here from Peter Alfonso
So try booting them from fastboot
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
That was the solution
Thank you

Hello,
I know you're getting tired of this questions, but I searched for hours and still can't find a solution to my problem.
I was trying to root my HTC One X (international) when I did probably something stupid, and now I'm in boot loop (only normal HTC logo appears). My HTC One X however is unlocked and my hboot version is 1.39. Also, I managed to install 'ClockwordkMod Recovery' via a command on my computer.
I just want my old factory settings back please, I don't really need a ROM anymore lol, I just want my HTC One X back too work
Thankyou in advace
Have you unlocked your bootloader before flashing the custom recovery? If you have, just install a custom stock rom like Android Revolution Hd to get it to work again...good luck..you can also just put your phone in fastboot mode, and type "fastboot erase cache"...then do a reboot...good luck!

na ARHD isn't anymore a stock like rom the real stock rom is by Mike but it's really completely stock
and for OP like sadman said if you want stock like rom then just search in android development for this stock rom by mike not the arhd if you don't want a custom rom, then download put on sdcard go into recovery there you would be able to put on sd then isntall from sd card then search for the zip flash it, take out the boot.img from the zip flash via fastboot, fastboot flash boot boot.img then fastboot erase cache and fastboot reboot then you can boot...but before that all to be sure wipe all things like factory reset and cache and dalvik cache erasing in CWM or whatever recovery you have

i have had my hox for about a year and have used a few custom roms
my most recent was sentinel 4.75 with the kernel in the zip file
i tried to install probam 4.4.9 last week and it didnt work
reinstalled from a nandroid now and wifi doesnt work and it takes a while to find network
then it started reset loops
if i boot into fastboot and power down then leave off for 10 mins or so it would turn on fine
now i cant even get it out of the loop
i cant install any other rom (they all get stuck at logo on first boot) and the only nandroid that works is the last one ive done
have I "bricked" my phone?
or is there some corrupt file on my phone that I need to fix?
is there any fix?
Are you flashing the roms boot.img and clearing cache in fastboot?

yes
update
i have gotten out of the reset loop by going into recovery and loading that last nandroid with above mentioned limitations
i still cant manage to install a new rom
I am sure this cycle will continue repeating itself, the rom deteriorating slowly and having to restore from nandroid
what else can i do?
Flash another recovery and try again

I have tried install another rom and no success
I was able to load an old nandroid but it would not connect to mobile network
I have restored to latest backup and am now getting occasional resets but it boots up after about 2 or 3 resets
Will try install sentinel 4.75 see how that goes
Looks likes its fixed!!!
I flashed philz recovery and tried some restores with no success
I was going to reinstall sentinel 4.75, rebooted in fastboot and loaded boot.img
when i went into recovery I realized I had forgotten to put the rom on my internal memory
I tried mount from recovery and it didnt work so I restarted to mount the device and copy rom onto the internal memory
It booted up and WIFI IS WORKING!!!
Looks like it is fixed and the only issue was a corrupt boot image?
Will try load another rom shortly and see if its all fixed
In philz recovery you need to wait for ums ...it needs time to mount...but its working normally and yea after or before flashing Rom you always need to flash in fastboot the boot.img

No, flashing another rom failed.
Good thing I know how to fix it now but still cant install new rom
Help please
Hey guys,
So i got my tablet rooted and now i want to see if i can flash some ROMs. I am really interested in CleanRom but is it available for MK1? I installed GooManager and TWRP and i can't get into Backup and Recovery to flash anything. It keeps rebooting into Android recovery. What am i doing wrong?
Thank you for your response.
When your device is off press volume up and the power button. When you see the "Galaxy Note 10.1 2014" release the power button but keep pressing the volue up button. that is how it works for me

Yea that's exactly what I am doing but it keeps going to android recovery. I got it rooted and installed tarp and goomanager. Anything else I need to install?
Have you installed the recovery via odin?
I've followed this thread and everything is running fine.

All you`ve got to do is untick "auto reboot " within odin before flashing custom recovery, flash then reboot manually.
thanks guys, that did the trick. Not understanding the process completely i did it through GooManager and thought it installed it.
I have gone and flashed it with Odin and restarted, works great, i appreciate the help.
Hello guys.
I'm with this problem that the phone don't pass the google logo.
I0ve tried flashing 4 diferent roms -xenon HD. cm11, etc and all of them dont boot. (flashes normally with wipe and all).
Also tried flasing diferent CWM, tried CWM 6.0.4.7 and 6.0.4.8 and TRMP 2.7 and still happens the same...
I noticed that before flashing new rom (had 4.1.2 on TWRP 2.3) the phone had that gallery problem that cannot open camera algo, could be possible that camera module dont let the phone boot??
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
cheers
Wipe system+data+cache+dalvik cache and flash factory image and then flash one of that ROMs.

Nexus root toolkit: http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
Factory images: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Flash 4.3 android
For flashing factory images you don't need custom recovery, but for ROMs you NEED it!
NO toolkit please.. Just manually use fastboot. No offense to the devs though.

Guys, worked like a charm. Thanks a lot!! really appreciate it
For anyone who's in the same situation:
1. install ADB/fastBoot on your pc and install phone drivers
2. put the phone in fastboot mode
3. flash stock image file from link posted above
4. boot phone
5. Done
If you want to flash custom rom right away
6. download cwm 6.0.4.7 or above
7. flash recovery via fastboot (fastboot flash recovery recoveruFileName.zip)
8. enter recovery mode
9. flash new rom
p.s. to put files on phone, you0ll need to install twrp recovery instead, the in that recovery, enter advanced mode, then command line, select sd card then press select on right bottom corner. To transfer files go to command line on pc and pass files like: adb push fileNameAndPath.zip /sdcard
Cheers
