Stuck @ Google Logo... can anyone help - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
yesterday i bought my galaxy nexus and started to root and cwm it today...
After i flashed CWM via Fastboot, i´ve tried to flash the autobrigthpatch from Paul.
After the restart in was hooked up in a bootlop.
I´ve tried to Flash a system.img via Fastboot flash system, but i think
i did something wrong.... now i´m stuck at the GoogleLogo.
Can anyone pls help me?
Another question is...
in which folder should i have to push (ADB Push) zip´s, so that CWM recognized it.
It´s definately not ADB push ROMNAME.zip /sdcard.
I tried already but cannot find anything, also after a restart.
Thank you in Advance

Try clearing cache/dalvik in CWM recovery..

didn´t work

Do you not have a backup to recover to?
If not [tut tut tut] then you could flash a stock ICS ROM over the top
There is one here from Peter Alfonso
So try booting them from fastboot
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img

That was the solution
Thank you

Cool, so what did you do in the end? Flash all the images or just the boot one?

[Q] [HELP] Problem after flash recovery

hey, I need some help here, I flashed at new recover.img on my phone. but after that my phone won't boot into recovery or android system. only into the bootloader/fastboot menu
plz, help me
Have you tried flashing the old recovery through fastboot?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
How did you flash it? Through fastboot? If that is the case, there is no problem there, and the problem would probably be the recovery file you flashed. Try another one, that you know for sure work with the phone.

Q: Flashing Android Revolution HD 6.0.0 (1.29.401.11)

Hey guys I've just unlocked the bootloader on my HOX and installed CWM and rooted. I had a Galaxy S2 before so flashing roms was a bit different and before I end up bricking my my new phone, I just wanted to get some more info/confirmation as to what I (think) I know before flashing a new rom, Android Revolution. Hopefully this can help some other noobs.
I've downloaded the required files, the rom zip, the kernel bootimg and super wipe.
I have a FAIR GENERAL idea of the steps but I'd like to confirm here before damaging my device.
To my knowledge:
1) Place the rom zip on the internal SD card via USB cable as normal along with the super wipe zip.
2) Boot into the bootloader, enter fastboot and connect the phone via USB and open CMD from the same folder used to root it, with those files present. When CMD is opened enter fastboot devices to ensure the device is being detected and then flash the bootimg kernel using the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
3) (unsure of this step and following steps...) After flashing the bootimg via adb reboot the device and enter bootloader mode again and this time enter recovery.
4) In CWM, reset to factory settings (data wipe), clear cache, clear davlik and then flash the super wipe zip and finally flash the rom.
Those are the steps I know..and I've also read of a .bat file to execute the adb commands automatically but I don't know exactly how that works and I'm a bit scared to try it. I've done my research so please don't flame me for asking this, I'm just scared as hell to brick my new phone.
If someone has a clearer simpler list of steps please post them or please correct any errors I have there. Thanks in advance for the help guys

Making the bat file is very simple..I'll help you on fb if you want...Everything else looks good though...do you really need to connect to the pc every time you want to flash? 0_0

The bat file isn't an issue..once I have the correct commands (if someone can confirm that too it'd be appreciated ) I'm good. And yeah I think so because a kernel ..or bootimg can't be flashed in CWM cuz its S-On ..so anytime u need to flash a new rom I guess you'd have to flash the kernel for that Rom via fastboot.

fastboot erase cache (bootloader>fastboot)
flash boot.img from bootloader in fastboot mode(fastboot flash boot boot.img)
flash superwipe in recovery
flash rom
flash rom cleaner if you want
reboot
job done

[Q] Stuck in boot loop, can't recover from backup (name includes spaces)

I recently installed Android Revolution HD 7.1.0 on my HTC One X and got stuck in a boot loop. I have tried getting out of the loop by emptying the cache, but it hasn't helped.
Now I'm trying to recover my phone using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.2.7. The problem is that my recovery folder name contains spaces, so I'm getting the "MD5 mismatch!"-message.
So my questions are:
1. Is there some way for me to rename my backup file?
2. If not, can I transfer another backup file from my computer to my device when in ClockworkMod Recovery or fastboot?
3. Is there some other way to get out of the boot loop?
I need to go to work in an hour so I would really appreciate quick answers! Thanks!
Typical. I search for a solution for 2 hours without luck, and as soon as I post a thread I find a solution. Well, here it is for future reference:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25557817#post25850720
EDIT: The solution answers the questions 1 and 2.
usually wiping dalvik cache solves most boot loops.
Flashing the boot.img of the respective Rom will surely recover from bootloop.

I like this solution. If you can extract the boot.img from your backup then it will recover you from bootloops.
If you're using stock kernel for his rom flash his boot.img.
Otherwise the repacked kernel boot.img will work.

[Solved] Stuck in CWM Recovery

During installation of ARHD Rom I suddenly got caught up in CWM Recovery mode. I have now tried to wipe system and everything and do a "restore" of my NANDROID backup without success. My question then is; how the hell can I push a ROM to my phone with the phone only in CWM Recovery??? I'm kind'a desparate!!!
Can also mention I'm on a Mac!
Hope someone has the answer!

Try restoring your nandroid backup, just remember to flash the boot.img
Sent from my fauxed HOX running ARHD 8.0.0
Did you flash recovery to the boot partition? (fastboot flash boot recovery.img)That could explain why it only boots to recovery. Try flashing recovery again (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.) then the boot.IMG (fastboot flash boot boot.IMG )then the Rom.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I've already tried that, I've even tried going to advanced restore -> boot -> restore boot without success..
BTW; I've now managed to push a new ROM onto my phone, installed it but still it won't but other than to recovery!!!

Sounds pretty much like what I did.. Will try your version now..
LATEST EDIT:
Seems like it did the trick rayford85.. Nice to see the bootanimation on my HOX again! Stupid step to forget (flashing the boot.img) LoL! Thank you rayford85!
Reusing this post to another dumb question... Everytime I reboot my phone it seems like the boot.img disappears because I have to ./fastboot-mac boot boot.img for every reboot of my phone!
Any good ideas of how to solve this?
It's flash boot.img not boot boot.img

Gnex bootloping.. help please!!

Hello guys.
I'm with this problem that the phone don't pass the google logo.
I0ve tried flashing 4 diferent roms -xenon HD. cm11, etc and all of them dont boot. (flashes normally with wipe and all).
Also tried flasing diferent CWM, tried CWM 6.0.4.7 and 6.0.4.8 and TRMP 2.7 and still happens the same...
I noticed that before flashing new rom (had 4.1.2 on TWRP 2.3) the phone had that gallery problem that cannot open camera algo, could be possible that camera module dont let the phone boot??
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
cheers

Nexus root toolkit: http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
Factory images: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Flash 4.3 android
For flashing factory images you don't need custom recovery, but for ROMs you NEED it!
NO toolkit please.. Just manually use fastboot. No offense to the devs though.

Guys, worked like a charm. Thanks a lot!! really appreciate it
For anyone who's in the same situation:
1. install ADB/fastBoot on your pc and install phone drivers
2. put the phone in fastboot mode
3. flash stock image file from link posted above
4. boot phone
5. Done
If you want to flash custom rom right away
6. download cwm 6.0.4.7 or above
7. flash recovery via fastboot (fastboot flash recovery recoveruFileName.zip)
8. enter recovery mode
9. flash new rom
p.s. to put files on phone, you0ll need to install twrp recovery instead, the in that recovery, enter advanced mode, then command line, select sd card then press select on right bottom corner. To transfer files go to command line on pc and pass files like: adb push fileNameAndPath.zip /sdcard
Cheers
