[Q] I am BRICKED uP - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have an the Galaxy note 2 at&t i317. I installed the diaphanes rom and it was working fine the night before last.... then I hit hot boot yesterday morning and my phone froze. I am able to get into download mode... I have tried Odin v3.7 and used KIES_HOME_I317UCALJ2_I317ATTALJ2_215287_REV04_user_low_ship.tar to get my stock rom back...... i tried several times... it goes through the entire process... after it reboots its goes to the SAMSUNG glaring on/off..... nothing else....
What else can I do?

I tried loading the new senzation rom. it installed successfully then when i went to restart my phone it just stayed on the samsung galaxy s2 splash screen. now it won't turn on. so i figured it was out of battery. i plugged it in for a 2 hours already and still wont turn on. i notice that the power led light is blinking a dim blue. anybody got any ideas on how to fix this?

Sounds like a bad flash. Go into Download mode (volume down+ power button while phone is turned off) and Odin back to stock... I its just a soft brick so you should be fine...

Try taking out battery. Then hook phone up to PC without battery and see if it boots to download mode...

So with battery in, when you try to power on, you do get the blue light but really dim and nothing after that?

Well, I think you can take it to Sprint to have it checked. I heard they give you a replacement for free if it went bad...

freeze+stuck after auto restart

new note2
using the original rom which comes with the phone. randomly freeze after i turn on the cell phone. sometimes it will restart automatically, sometimes won't. after auto restart, it stuck on samsung logo. I tried to flashed the root stock (ATT ROM) which is downloaded here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2004650
I also tried Jedi X 6.1.2
no matter I did factory reset or wipe cache + dalvik cache, I still got the same problem.
anyone has an idea what is going on?:crying:
Pull the battery once you Odin stock att , then replace Battery. Don't turn it on hold the volume up, home button, and power to get into recovery. Once in there do a factory reset then reboot

Random phone freeze... Maps pop-up

Not sure why my Note 2 freezes up every now and then. It freezes for a few seconds, then a "Maps has stopped working" pop-up would appear.
Not sure what can be causing this issue.

Reflash the rom. Looks like maps app got corrupted.

I'm stock. No custom ROM.
I also began to get error messages that "Settings has stopped working"
I uninstalled a few apps that were running at the time the error messages were displayed.
If it continues I may have to do a factory reset. Just hoping I can find a fix without having to start over.

When you reflash stock rom, nothing will change. It would just eliminate the possibility of corrupt files.

yes, you can wipe/factory reset from the stock recovery. with phone switched off press up vol + home + power and hold for a few seconds.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind if it happens again. I did the standard factory reset last night. So far, everything seems to be working fine.
I'm also using the TouchWiz launcher this time around, instead of Nova Launcher Prime to see if it makes a difference.

[Q] Cm10.1 stuck in Vibration Loop

I installed CM10.1 yesterday on my T989. I updated it this morning with the newer version of CM10.1. So today I was at work, I was listening to some music and in the process of sending a text, my phone shuts off. I attempted to turn it on, it said "Samsung," and goes into a vibration loop, nothing loads. Then I tried to go into Odin and go into download mode, and it shows the download mode screen, then shuts off. I am running out of ideas. Hopefully you guys can help, Thank you!

yeah im on tasks AOKP
first thing to do is clear your cache, boot into recovery, clear cache and reboot to system, most of the time this will fix it, if not then clear data and cache and that should fix it most of the time

no i havent ill try that now
i just tried it and it went to a screen but as soon as i let goo of the volume down and home buttons its shuts off
is it possible that my power button maybe stuck?
just heard from a friend that could be the problem
That's possible but as soon as the screen comes up you have to release both buttons or the screen does turn off, try volume up and home, when you see booting recovery, release both buttons, what I wanted to see is if you got the proper response, could be power button but have more to try
