I tried loading the new senzation rom. it installed successfully then when i went to restart my phone it just stayed on the samsung galaxy s2 splash screen. now it won't turn on. so i figured it was out of battery. i plugged it in for a 2 hours already and still wont turn on. i notice that the power led light is blinking a dim blue. anybody got any ideas on how to fix this?

Sounds like a bad flash. Go into Download mode (volume down+ power button while phone is turned off) and Odin back to stock... I its just a soft brick so you should be fine...

Try taking out battery. Then hook phone up to PC without battery and see if it boots to download mode...

So with battery in, when you try to power on, you do get the blue light but really dim and nothing after that?

Well, I think you can take it to Sprint to have it checked. I heard they give you a replacement for free if it went bad...

Well, i think something is majorly wrong with my epic..
i normally turn it off to charge while i sleep, cause it gets really hot if i charge it while its on.
but now when its off and plugged in, it only shows the empty battery icon thing with the loading wheel and the touch buttons on the bottom light up, and the red light does not show, and i seem to actually be losing battery like this. (stays like that as long as i have the cable plugged in too) :O
i was on Frozen 1.2 when this started
ive flashed back to stock ECO5 and this did not fix the problem
and i am now on ACS Bamboozle EF02.
ive used 3 different cables btw
Does anybody know how to fix this problem??

Edited....if it truly started on SRF 1.2 then you need to take your phone to the Sprint store. If it actually started on a Gingerbread ROM, then its a known issue with the leaks

Anyone else noticed a problem while charging the phone when its off?
waited till phone shuts down itself, cause off low battery, then plugged in the AC adapter.
a batteryicon appears on the screen, but i am not able to boot
when i plug off the AC adapter the batteryicon stays on the screen
i only can boot the phone after a batterypull :-(

Doesn't happen on stock ROM+kernel. Happens to me right now with the same config.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this DOES happen on the stock kernel when you shut down the phone while its plugged into a USB port..... Solution is pull the battery and reboot and/or don't shutdown the phone when plugged into USB.

This is correct. A lot of people have the same issue including myself.
Ive only had to pull the battery once after a crash. I thought there was an issue with charging and power on but holding the power button down has always turned it on.

franco confirmed that it is not kernel related (cause the kernel isn't loaded in this state)
i also noticed that the battery is getting charged in this "dead battery icon"-state, maybe the phone can be booted after it is fully charged?
It was said before, that this was a problem with CWR (ClockWorkRecovery). IT's being looked at, I believe.

Ive been running the 4.1.2 AOKP ROM for "all variants" and yesterday it suddenly stopped working. The phone shut down and will not turn back on. It will not return to CWM Recovery and when i try to reroot/unroot a blue screen flashes and it goes back to its boot looping thing. The phone will show the samsung logo, black out, (no unicorn) then "glitches" and repeats with a small vibration right before the sammy logo. Anyone have any ideas????

I installed CM10.1 yesterday on my T989. I updated it this morning with the newer version of CM10.1. So today I was at work, I was listening to some music and in the process of sending a text, my phone shuts off. I attempted to turn it on, it said "Samsung," and goes into a vibration loop, nothing loads. Then I tried to go into Odin and go into download mode, and it shows the download mode screen, then shuts off. I am running out of ideas. Hopefully you guys can help, Thank you!

Ok, so this morning i pulled my phone off the charger running M`rage rom and i looked at it and decided to change it. So i went to go look for another rom and remembered I had a version of AOSP on my phone, so i turned it off, and tried to boot it into CWM, but suprisingly, the screen would not turn on... So I looked around and I found some pages saying to use Odin, but everyone was saying to put it into download mode,so i did,
although for some reason I could not get the screen on, but on Odin it said that the device is connected, so I tried to put 2.3.6 on the device, but it took over 1.5 hours so i aborted the operation and decided to come here for advice from someone who knows how to fix the problem.
Thanks for any advice!
