Pa 2.99 pie 6.0 with JTbean inverted gapps - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Been running this setup without any problems on prior versions of PA up to pie 4.0. Since trying to run pie 6.0 with same gapps everything works except contacts force closes. Anyone running this setup. If so are you running into the same problem. is there a work around or another set of inverted gapps worth trying.

[Q] Android Market Issue?

So i flashed cyanogen-Mod 6.1.2 thru rom manager. i also flashed Gapps thru rom manager...everything is running great but it has been two days and the Android market still hasnt updated to new one... i did wipe everything before install...any suggestions? thanx in advance..
CM 6.x Market will not auto-update. Old, known, uncaredabout bug. If you want support, get CM7 Nightly13 and GApps 20110307.
Thanks... its been driving me crazy..

[Q] Android 4.2 + Gapps = constant FCs

Hey all,
I decided to flash Jelly Belly 10.0 (4.2) and everything works fine until I flash the GAPPS- I've tried three different jb GAPPS from three different sources, and whenever I flash them, the next boot and from there on out is "setup wizard has stopped" and "com.android.GAPPs has stopped...", mostly giving me a Setup Wizard has stopped popup though, and it's keeping me from using the phone at all- not even pull down settings are responding.
Any ideas, maybe I'm not supposed to flash jb GAPPS?
Thanks!
AFAIK most of the 4.2 roms out include gapps in them, so there's no need to flash it over. Also, no official gapps package is out for 4.2 yet (most seem to contain pre-release versions of the 4.2 apps). That could be your problem.
I know what you're saying, but I'm also flashing the GAPPS linked in the ROM's original thread.... I also looked at the Pure AOSP 4.2 ROM for the VZW Nexus, they're linking to some 4.2 GAPPS package...I'll give it a go.
Thanks for replying!
Edit: Yeah that did it... For anyone else using Jelly Belly or any other AOSP 4.2 ROM, get GAPPS from here: http://old.bitsurge.net/android/gapps-4.2-JOP40C-121117.zip

Cyanogenmod 10.1/Dashclock Widget Incompatibility

So I upgraded from CM10.0 stable to CM10.1 monthly 2 yesterday night and everything seems pretty good. However, I tried to download Dashclock widget from the google play store yesterday, yet it says that my Galaxy SIII is incomptabile.
What should I do to fix this? In case it helps, I did a dirty flash. Didn't wipe 10.0 and just installed 10.1 over it.
Android Version: 4.2.2
CM Version: 10.1 (m2 - d2att)
Phone: Galaxy SIII Bell

You can attempt to do a clean wipe install, however I suspect its just not compatible with the new version of JB. CM10 was 4.1.2 and CM10.1 is 4.2.2. So its very possible the developer has not updated their app to include the new version of JB

Thanks everyone. Will try it.
Did the clean install solve your problems?
I'm experiencing a problem with Dashclock incompatibility, where the web version of the Play Store says it's compatible with my phone, but the Play Store on my device says it's incompatible. If I click install via web, nothing happens on my phone.
CM10.1
Custom DPI (but using patched play store)
854x480
Edit: apk installation from file explorer works fine, found this download link: http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/90618241/file.html

i understand u cant use dashclock in cyanogen mod, but if u cant use dashclock is there any substitute for showing your notifications on your clock screen on cyanogenmod?

Running CM10.1.3, want to flash CM10.2 Nightly?

So, I have been running 10.1.3 for a while, and now that 4.4 is out, I want to flash a 10.2 nightly (4.3) so I am not too far behind.
However, When I try the usual way of updating the ROM through the CM Updater, my google apps dont work... (like play store, messaging, dialer, etc.).
I will be flashing GApps to see if it fixes it, but does anyone know if it will?
Thanks!

It might work, but my best recommendation is to clean install CM 10.2 since updating from CM 10.1 could cause a lot of errors.
Thanks for the reply!
So flashing the gapps package seemed to work! However, the Google Apps (drive, hangouts, music) would force close.. But a simple uninstall and reinstall fixed that issue.
Running 10.2 snapshot m1 now with no issues! Can't wait for cm 10.3!

[Q] Gapps question

When it comes to gapps is there any reason to go with anything besides PA's version of them for non tw roms?
I am trying to save space by not having the cm version then the pa version and then whatever other version some rom says I need.
What I would like to do is keep a set of the different packages of the pa gapps and the pa ota update app so I can just install the gapps and the app and if an update is available then the ota app will just take care of it.
No one has an opinion?
