[Q] Netflix on G2 CM7 not working.

Anyone on CM7 having issues with netflix streaming video. I am only getting audio.

Same here. Running CM 7.0.3. Tried both stock kernel and pershoot. Still no luck. A buddy of mine still is running CM7-RC2 and it works fine, so I am sure there is something somewhere that can be fixed.

Can anyone test on CM6?

same. at first i thoguht it was a kernel issue (im running pyro/smartass) - but it is not.

Where did you guys install the Netflix app from? I am running CM 7.0.3, but unable to find it in Market.
Update: I found it

same. audio for a few seconds on a black screen then the player quits back to the app menu.

app is on market website then pushed to phone for me but only audio for me

backed up first running latest night build and latest stable releases. updated flash to 10.3 still audio and no video.

I'm running CM7.0.0 using pershoot's .36 kernel. I got audio but no video. Upgraded flash player from 10.2 to 10.3 with no change. I have only tested it over wifi.
I read on one of the engadget comments that someone was running it successfully on cm7, but don't remember what phone.

I tried on xboarder's pure GB rom, no joy. Audio but no vid.
Restored to tmo factory shipped rom, worked fine.

Sorry, noob question: If I wanted to go back to stock to try out the app, do I just flash the stock rom/original ship rom?

I used market enabler to get it in canada, and it only works on my 2.2 stock sense rom, not cm7

I'm also having the same isssue with cm7 stable 7.0.2. I read the description and it had the device and the rom version so I'm assuming that for now the phone has to have the original stock rom

I'm sure cyanogen will fix it. I'll create an issue on the tracker later, but if somebody beats me to it post the url so we can star it.

i heard some chatter that it worked on cm7 rc2 - hopefully someone can confirm. I posted a logcat of the error over on the cm nightly thread in the development forum. hopefully someone can patch this?
if you are on the latest cm stable build please logcat the error and submit a bug report on the cm bug tracker.

I found this from Koush's twitter to get the app working for the nexus s running cm7. Any way we could tailor this to help us out?

Reverted to rc2 as per daveerickson, is working perfectly

Adobe Flash 10.3

Ive noticed that flash does not work correctly on phone after the update. I can see where the flash on the page is then it shows a little blue block... any fixes besides uninstalling the update

What rom are you running and have you tried installing the 10.2 version again. I've noticed alot of people are reporting the "blue block" problem with 10.3. Is it in the browser or an app?

I'm Running Sprint Lovers Latest ROM and I am now back on 10.2 and its working fine.. and I was having issues in the broswer...

I actually downgraded back to 10.2 myself man 10.3 crashes on me alot lol. It has weird issues man

where can i get 10.2 from,,, having same issues using fresh evo 2.2

im still using the original release of flash 10.1 (as far as i know) and im getting the blue block as well and cant install 10.3 for some odd reason, so where can 10.2 be acquired

I had the same problems with 10.3, it would buffer and rebuffer alot where as I go to the same site on 10.2 and the streaming is perfect no rebuffering every 20 secs.

i've been using 10.3 and things were fine when using the lastest FRESH rom. but I just switched to GingerAle and the browser FCs a lot when there is flash.

market issue

ive recently installed cm7 nightly along with the last version of gapps. the problem is everything works except the market. it doesnt let me download any app and wont load the "My Apps" page. please help soon, its very frustrating knowing i have apps that need to be updated!

Have you tried re-flashing the rom? Did you install on a clean wipe?

MIUI will cause problems like this, if it's not a clean install, just like the above poster stated.
I had a similar problem, then realized I'd forgotten to wipe, so I did that an reflashed, no more issues!

I have the same problem except I have CyanogenMod 7 the latest stable version.

I've noticed mms issues on MIUI 1.9.16 as well. I haven't really looked into a fix since I don't use mms very often. I can send them but I either don't receive them at all or they don't download. I've been having issues with downloading through the stock browser as well, so I feel that the two are related.
I have the newest release downloaded, just haven't flashed yet. If I have issues on that one I will probably roll back to 1.9.2 or 1.9.9. I suggest anyone else with the problems to do the same. I installed on a clean wipe, so I know that isn't the issue.

wifi problem in mildwild cm and oxygen

I need help. I have been a long time sense user, last one was runny rom. I tried to install mildwild, everything works good but the wifi can't really scan for an access point. i tried mildwind cm 4.6 and 5.0 stable, also mildwild oxygen 4.3 and all the time i get the same. i tried the tiamat kernel and nothing. Now i have been back in runny rom and it works ok. Is there any solution? I have posted the catlog and i don't know if there is something.

ive been useing WildMild 5.0 for ages & 5.1 for a few days & my wifi has been great as i dont use roaming just the wifi or a hot spot, so i hope you can srot out your problem as ive found WildMild spot on
