You can can.
Empty your battery
Then charge it to 100%
Then go to cwm mode
Then go to advanced and clear your battery and fix permissions
Again empty your battery
Again fully charge it.

Might be a battery calibration issue. I know there is a calibration app in the play store but you need root in order to use it. Ive used it on my burst to calibrate bat info, so it should work on the ion.

Please only post your thread once, I've deleted your duplicate from earlier and also don't bump your thread within 24 hours as per the forum rules as you need to be patient for people to answer you when they can.

And if that doesnt help you could try flashing the firmware again. If all fails then you have a hardware issue.

Get the back up and restore app from the sticky thread in the dev section (I think that's where it is) instal it on your phone they get flash tool click the little padlock icon it will help you root when it says click restore in the app push it and wait. It will restart then say it's done and you're all done.

I am new to the custom rom thing but I am loving it because I was about to throw this phone away "Xperia S" but after playing around with roms and kernels I am back to liking my phone again. My question is related to the battery, I added the PAC rom V18 and I also added the Nova kernel V5 but my only complaint is the battery is drained very fast that it doesn't go through the day, I am an average user so I don't listen to music or watch movies. Is there a solution or a kernel that can improve the battery life.
Thanks

Follow these steps:
1. Use your battery to 0%
2. Charge it to 100%
3. Go to CWM > Advance
4. Wipe Battery Stats.
5. Fix Permissions (This may take sometimes).
6. Again use your battery to 0%
7. Again charge it to 100%
I looked for wipe battery data in the advanced tab in CWM recovery but I didn't find it

Then you will flash different kernel.
Seeing your screenshot, I can see an app is keeping your phone awake all the time. You should look at that. Kinda unrelated, but...

Ok do you have a link to a different kernel for the Ion L28AT?
somebody help me., my battery percentage still on 99%.,
how I can calibrate my battery stats, cuz in CWM doesn't have wipe battery stats., Please.
Re: [Q] [HELP] calibrate battery stats
It is definitely normal, no need to wipe stats. When a battery is full (when it is ON) it will reach 100% (but not so sure since my battery health isn't that good) but if you charge it when it is OFF and you turn it on you will get it at 99%, Always.
Also, no need to wipe battery stats. It is useless. Battery Stats will wipe itself after full-charge.
Calibrate? Don't think so..

Check if the battery decreasing or not in other apps / just go to setting > battery. If it's decreasing in there that means something has missing in your system UI.
For the easy fix just install some new theme and you will be good to go

hi,
My Xperia Ion has been a bit strange recently. I would leave it over night after a full charge and is would loose 10%. that's ok. But once I start using it at some point shortly after the battery would instantly jump from 90% to 70%. This also happens when I reboot the phone. It would reboot missing 20% to 30% of its charge.

It's not Sony's fault.
If you want to calibrate your battery safely, you have to do this. This is for all devices.
