[Q] Slow touch problem with all sense roms - HTC One X

Hi,
I got a major problem.
When I use CM rom the touch works great. everything fast and clean when im typing etc.
but the senses rom (now using HDR 18.1) wich I love them more, having a really serious problem with touch - its respond slow its not Accuracy, I try to type something and I always is missed it with something near that.
really strange, there is any fix for that?
I really wanna stay with the sense roms they are perfect everything works good GPS application etc but the problem is the slow and complicated touch!
thanks

?

Maybe try calibration touchscreen.

For calibration of the screen do this. Go to: settings- language & keyboards-
Htc sense input- advanced- calibration tool. There you can calibrate the screen.

both work fine for me
things that dont work:
message widget
lock screen background has to be the same as wallpaper background
trackpad wakeup doesnt work
lock screen widgets/shortcuts dont work (dont show up)
Genius button is unassigned
Camera/video recorder. camera is laggy but operational. video is pretty much useless
and more...but those are the major ones ive notices

He makes the best roms. All the other devs say things aren't possible, he proves them wrong. Be even ported motoblur!!!! Best mt4g dev.

I can't agree more that raffy is an amazing dev.
Your generalizations are completely unfair, though. All other devs are not running around saying the things raffy does are impossible.
ONLY THING NOT WORKING on mine is trackpad my messages widget and everything else is working so far
Edit.trackpad wake

Games losing touch screen?

Is this an app issue or kernel issue?
This started occuring this week.
I flash different roms and they all work well.
I tested lately on different roms as well and kernels.
Touch and hold sometimes do not register, causing me to lose a race or die(madfinger games).
Anyone else experiencing this? And possibly identify what is wrong.
Thanks much!
Games tested:
Monster shooter: lost levels
Mini moto racing
Samurai 2 thd
Shadowgun thd
Dead trigger

This issue is known on AOKP/CM9 ROMs. Try with Sense ROMs, if it still doesn't work, it can be hardware fault. On MIUI this problem doesn't exist.

Yes I have noticed this more on AOSP/AOKP ROMS.
It does now on Sense ROMs.
I will have to continue testing some more. It was fluid last night when I flashed a sense rom, then early this afternoon there were some of it.
I came up with a theory that temperature is an issue, it has something to do with the temp of my thumbs or the device. Somehow when it's cold it doesn't react very well.
Any thoughts?

flash leedroid rom with the kernel that comes with it
for me i dont think i have ur issue

and do u have a screen protector on ? maybe its causing the touch issue
(and since u have experinced alots of roms i have to ask u
im having lags on games like shadown gun and deadtrigger etc......
what is the best rom u have tried for games ?
and did u use any special setting for games to prevent lag?
and i am on leedroid rom should i flash a custom kernel ? would it soulve the lag problem ?
thanks in advance

Running SandWiz ROM based on CM9. The issue should be on this ROM, but it doesn't exist. Maybe coz it has TouchWiz framework. And when I'm playing games, no matter which temperature, I have multitouch.

custom kernels there is a chance that it could cause this and i dont have ur problem i think
because i played shadow gun for about 30 min and nothing happend the touch was the same
here is what u do like i said before man
restore ur device to stock firmawre with a stock kernel try the latest leaked firmware like the (4.04)
and do wipes (factory/cache/dalvik ) from custom recovery
after that format ur storage charge ur phone fully
after that take it off the charger
and try playing shadow gun for 30 minuets see if it is the same
click thanks if i helped
Lately I have been using stock 4.04 kernel and still testing thr games. Shadowgun yes but ill wait for nexus7 to play it again. Touch seems back to normal with stock kernel, running on renocate 3.0.0 atm

Used some ROMs lately, and it appeared on SandWiz but I'm running BeatMod something based on Sense, and I don't have the issue yet. Now I'm testing the battery how long will it last, and I will not flash ROMs.

Undervoltage seems to be the culprit here. Not sure but in my testing, stock kernel seems to not have this problem

ICS Ice Cream Sandwich

I am thinking of going back to my LeeDroid rom.
The only good things about ICS is the custom install, one setting which helped with internal storage.
I liked the twitter app which let me set a notification tone for someone in particular.
I have found the speed of the menu and opening apps quite slow. The keyboard is annoying. Using the track ball for moving along text is too fast. I can't leave it on charge when it is fully charged because the phone will switch off. The contacts settings in People is basic and looks odd.
Does anyone agree?

Awesome deductive thinking Batman!
via xda app
The people thing is kinda basic I suppose compared to Sense.
The rest. I prefer ICS

Yes and no. I'm using Leedroid right now but camcorder (including third parties) causes reboot when you press record.

I want my device faster but...still not going to such an old sense. Beauty + speed it's what i want
I guess it depends on priority and how you interpret two conditions. Speed and smooth. These stick together in different proportions and have completely different meaning.
Smoother ICS does not mean faster response, it just mainly higher FPS -"Frame rate (also known as frame frequency) is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames.Frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS)" I just stick to GB roms for now.
I was using MIUI before and tried Sandvolds ICS to see what it was like.It runs really smooth and so far I've had no issues with it.
I don't really notice any lag, in fact a lot of my apps are running a lot better.

[Q] All JB 4.2.1 roms problem

Hello everybody
First: Sorry for my bad English
I have an HTC DHD and I've tried all versions of jellybean 4.2 roms (like codfirex, unofficial cm10.1, aokp jb, jellytime r1,r2,r3,r4) but all have a problem with multitouch. When I put 3 fingers on touch, multitouch work perfect, but when I put 4 fingers, my phone make a big lag. Work very bad, can I fix it? or can I add more multitouching points?
I haven't heard of anything like this before.
Can I ask what you're doing that requires that many contact points? Any details would help

I use a application named multitouch tester, when I try to put 4 fingers to touch my phone work hard and make a lag, when I use 3 fingers it have no problem. maybe is a kernel problem, I don't know.....
You don't need any app. You can test multi-touch by enabling 'Show touches' in Settings-Developer options.

Nice, thanks:good: but my phone work bad in games like fruit ninja when I use 4 fingers for multitouch
But yeah, you're right about the phone not detecting more than 3 touches. That's really strange, because I remember it detecting 4 before. I'm trying on codefireX 20130127 test build with 2.5 performance. My phone is acting funny too. Maybe some other people can test this and confirm?

If you full wiped before flashing both, I would try flashing a rock-solid stock-ish ROM (like ARHD) as a last resort. If it still doesn't work on ARHD, I believe it's a hardware issue.
Thanks mate. Will try that.
