bootloader - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I've flash my N7100 with Stock_Deodex_Rooted_N7100XXDMA6_N7100OXADMA5_N7100XXDLK7_XEF ...
Then I tried to downgradebootloader... Impossible
Now my N7100 freezes all the time and seems to work only with this new Rom.
When I try to flash with KJ2 full wipe rom, it fail all the time on nand write...
If I re-install CWM, then try to restore any backup, it failed, with "can't mount data"...
Please, help me!

reflash
I dont think that its bootloaders problem. Try to flash stock rom via odin and press the vol up, the home and the power button while booting when you see the screen on release the power button and you will go into stock recovery mode. From there whipe data/factory reset and then reboot. :cyclops:

Assuming you're rooted...
Give this a go
-download StockCWM-EL26.tar.md5 to your computer
http://chris41g.devphone.org/index.php?dir=EpicTouch/Stock+Repack/EL26/
-Open odin (make sure only auto reboot is checked) and click the PDA tab
-put the .tar you just downloaded in the PDA section
-on your device, hold the volume down rocker and power button at the same time until you boot into odin/download mode
-press the volume up rocker
-plug your device into your computer
-wait for it to recognize and hit start...let it load completely
your phone should reboot. You can then boot back into recovery and be on your way.
Hope this helps. It's worked for me time and time again..
Thanks I will try

are you:
formatting system
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
flashing caulks wipe all
THEN flash your rom?
If you aren't doing all those things when switching from one rom to another, then you will have problems..

Could I get some help please?

Boot into recovery (power the device and press power + volume up + home at the same time), do a full wipe (wipe cache partition, wipe data/factory reset, format system, format preload) and make sure that you read the Rom's thread just to see if some additional step is needed and then reflash it. Flashing a new rom without doing a full wipe are the usual cause of bootloops. Take into consideration that you will lose data this way.
If you can't access recovery, then try booting into download mode (power + volume down + home) and flash an stock firmware with Odin PC.
Hope it helps...:good:
wash, rinse, repeat

Have you wipe data in recovery mode?

We need more info before we can get help. Tell us you're phone model number, how it got this way, what you did in Odin/Heimdall and how you flashed it.

If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it! Ask before you do it.
Follow the tutorial below to unbrick your phone.
Enter CWM (press and hold Home + Volume Up + Power button, when the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and keep pressing Home + Volume Up buttons) and:
select "clear data/factory reset"
go to "mounts & storage" and format /system. This is extremely important!
under the same menu, format /sdcard (be careful NOT to format /external_sd by mistake)
restart into Download mode (restart, press and hold Home + Volume Down + Power buttons)
flash Samsung stock ROM via ODIN Multidownloader
reboot your phone (it will probably automatically reboot anyway after ODIN finishes flashing the stock ROM)
Oh, and by the way, if you would have followed this tutorial when flashing those 3 custom ROMs, your 3G connectivity might have worked and you wouldn't have gotten into this kind of troubles by trying to flash stock ROM over custom ROM without wiping the most important component of any ROM (the /system folder!).

Pull out the battery for at least 30 seconds then try to re-enter to recovery
HOLD VOLUME UP + HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON
release the POWER BUTTON after 4-5 seconds so it won't loop to logo. try.

T805 bad flash in Odin and no recovery with button combo

Hi everyone, some help is needed. Mistakenly when rooting my stock T805 with CF autoroot, tired and sleepy, I flashed it in Odin in BL (bootloader) and not in AP box as I should. Soft bricked it, couldn't go back to stock, somehow managed to install recovery, from there to some AOSP rom and finally to Xtrolite (which is great) .Anyhow, all is working now, EXCEPT, i still cannot flash stock rom in Odin, seems i destroyed bootloader but then again, I flashed stock bootloader-only file, i got recovery, any rom etc. Help is needed what to do??
Also, is this normal that VOL UP+ POWER+ HOME wont enter recovery?? I remember this when i bought it, with knox 0x0 and now also, with TWRP, i have to use an app to reboot to recovery?! weird...
Cheers!
If you had trashed the bootloader you wouldn't even have a bootable device, it would be bricked.
Not getting into recovery is purely pilot error.
You need to give more details regarding flashing the stock rom, screen shots etc.
Part of the problem was that i couldn't enter recovery with button combo but needed to have working rom with special app or 4 way reboot mod. When flashing stock rom (either 4.4.2 or 5.0) at the end of the proccess it says: FAIL (red).

You need to post a screen shot of the flash process in Odin.
I'll reiterate, regarding entering recovery mode is 99% of times user error.
From power off hold POWER + HOME + VOL UP until recovery boots.

Tnx. Finally managed to find some time and clear this one out. It was LP bootloader issue, appareantly you can go back only to some 4.4.2 bootloaders/roms and some not.
I got another brain puzzling issue with my Nexus 10, please share some insight....http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-10/help/nexus-10-half-to-bricked-t3210005
