Assuming you're rooted...
Give this a go
-download StockCWM-EL26.tar.md5 to your computer
http://chris41g.devphone.org/index.php?dir=EpicTouch/Stock+Repack/EL26/
-Open odin (make sure only auto reboot is checked) and click the PDA tab
-put the .tar you just downloaded in the PDA section
-on your device, hold the volume down rocker and power button at the same time until you boot into odin/download mode
-press the volume up rocker
-plug your device into your computer
-wait for it to recognize and hit start...let it load completely
your phone should reboot. You can then boot back into recovery and be on your way.
Hope this helps. It's worked for me time and time again..
Thanks I will try

are you:
formatting system
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
flashing caulks wipe all
THEN flash your rom?
If you aren't doing all those things when switching from one rom to another, then you will have problems..

Hello all,
I accidentally flashed CM9 9/9 nightly over the CM10 9/8 nightly. I was unable to get back into clockwork, so I attempted to flash back to stock via Odin. Now my device boots, but hangs at the Samsung logo.
How do I recover this?
Thanks in advance...
Depends on what you want.
If you wanna get back to stock go into stock recovery (or whatever recovery you ha e right now) and do a factory reset (data wipe). See if it powers up. If not, follow instructions again on flashing stock Odin file. All you probably need is a Factory Reset though
If you want to go back to CM10 flash the CWM tar.md5 file through Odin (I have a thread in the dev section with that file in the OP, look for CWM Recovery thread). Make sure auto reboot is not checked. After the tar.md5 flashes, pull out the battery, put it back in, go into recovery ( while phone is off, hold volume up+home button+power button @ the same time until you see blue text flash on the top left corner of the screen then let go)
In CWM do a Factory Reset and wipe flash CM10

At this point, I just want a functioning phone...
I'll try the CWM tar.md file. Thanks for the help.

There is no CM10 tar.md5 file. There is the CWM Recovery tar.md5 file found here
Get into download mode, plug phone into computer, open Odin and uncheck auto reboot, load the tar.md5, flash. If successful take out battery, put it back in, get into recovery, perform Factory Reset, flash Cm10, reboot
Worked like a champ. Thanks again...

Yeah, I mistyped. I wanted to edit when I saw my mistake, but, you know. Junior member...
so heres my problem. i succesfully flashed the cyanomgen 10 md2 build....was messing around with it decided i didnt like it as much as stock, so i plugged the phone into my computer via usb and hooked it up to oden selected the tmobile factory firmware and selected pda and the firmware hit start and flashed it back to tmobile stock....well when it rebooted after flash thru oden it wouldnt go past the samsung screen.so i googled it and found a recovery option said to flash cf root v6 thru odin so i did that and it failed...now i am stuck at a page where it is the recovery page where it lists odin mode, product, custom binary etc etc but usually where the little android bot is it is saying "firmware upgrade encountered an issue.please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. well my device in kies wont connect trys for a little while and then says defice not responding please help!
Try Odin flashing your FW again. If it sticks at the logo reboot back into recovery, wipe dalvik, factory reset, and reboot again. (This is what prob needed to be done 1st time around) It can take a few min at boot so be patient.
Where did you get the fw you are trying to flash? If you use MrRobinsons root66 fw its pre rooted.

Yup. Same thing happened to me. Turn your phone off and use power + home + vol down to get to download. Odin back to stock or MrRobinsons (much easier in my opinion). Then boot into recovery using home + power + vol up and do a facotry reset. Note: this may wipe your internal storage.
worked like a charm thanks guys very much
I too was having the same problem so i just joined searching for an answer. This worked perfectly after banging my head against a wall so many times with the info i was finding else where on the net. Thanks!

I just installed liquidsmooth 4.2.2 official and googleapps i cleared cache etc before i installed too. Everything installed fine but when I went to reboot the device it wont boot up. I can get back into recovery mode but I unfortunately forgot to make a back up. What can I do? Also my father has the exact same phone as me. If need be can I use his SD card to make a backup and then put it in my phone?

Go to wipe in TWRP recovery. Factory reset should be in your options. Then flash again

Did you factory reset, wipe cache, and reflash the rom? If that fails I guess at least you can Odin.

Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Wipe data/factory reset
Flash ROM
Flash gapps
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Reboot device
↑if that fails, get to a computer and download another ROM, place it on the SD card, pull the battery out of your phone and insert the SD card. Put the battery back into the phone and boot into recovery and try the steps above, but instead try flashing the new ROM and only flash the gapps if needed (usually stated in the op of the ROMs thread).
↑if it still fails then Odin back to stock and I guess try rooting again.

If you are not sure what happened and why it happened and just want to fix the phone so it boots normally into
the stock-rooted Samsung Jellybean v4.1.1 rom so you can start over again or if you decided that Liquidsmooth
is not for you then here is the step by step guide to get your phone working again.
After getting the phone working properly, I suggest that you flash the Wicked v10 custom rom. (it's excellent)
P.S. there is no OFFICIAL Samsung v4.2.2 roms for out phones yet, the liquidsmooth is the official CM10/AOKP Android rom.
Easy and sure way to to get your phone back up and running properly with this step by step guide:
After you have followed these instructions your phone will be in the same condition
as it was the day you have purchased it except with the benefit of being rooted.
Download the stock-rooted T999 firmware: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390169635556426451
After downloading it make a folder on your computer's desktop and unzip the
file using Winzip or 7zip so the .TAR file is in the new folder you just made.
Here is a link for ODIN which is required for flashing the stock rooted firmware (a windows app) http://d-h.st/Q14
Download and extract Odin into the same folder you made containing the TAR file.
Download the Odin Flash firmware for T999 Tmobile then copy it to the same folder as Odin
Run Odin by double clicking the Odin.exe within the same folder as the TAR file you extracted
Turn off your phone and boot into DOWNLOAD MODE (Volume Down + Home + Power Hold until phone powers up, then release and press Volume Up to enter Download Mode)
Once in Download Mode, connect the USB/Charger cable to the phone and plug into the USB port on your computer.
You should now see a COM** port listed toward the top-left of Odin (under ID:COM)
Click on the PDA button in the middle-right area of Odin.
Browse to and select the Firmware you downloaded (TAR file)
Make sure Auto-Reboot and F. Reset Time are the only options checked and that PDA is the only other thing checked.
TRIPLE CHECK your settings and that you have selected the correct firmware for your model phone and are using the correct options.
If you are using a laptop, make absolutely sure you are plugged in, or if on battery, that it is charged enough and will not go into sleep mode during flash.
Click Start to begin the flash. This will take a while, so be patient!
Once complete, in the top-left box in Odin, it will say PASS and the phone should have automatically rebooted.
You may unplug the phone and close Odin if you wish.
Wait at least 5-10 minutes for the system to boot the first time and then build its cache!
(It may seem to hang during boot, this is normal and you must be patient!!!)
Good Luck!

i used ODIN 4.43 , and Ancora.ops and the package file that i downloaded in samsung-updates.com

If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it! Ask before you do it.
Follow the tutorial below to unbrick your phone.
Enter CWM (press and hold Home + Volume Up + Power button, when the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button and keep pressing Home + Volume Up buttons) and:
select "clear data/factory reset"
go to "mounts & storage" and format /system. This is extremely important!
under the same menu, format /sdcard (be careful NOT to format /external_sd by mistake)
restart into Download mode (restart, press and hold Home + Volume Down + Power buttons)
flash Samsung stock ROM via ODIN Multidownloader
reboot your phone (it will probably automatically reboot anyway after ODIN finishes flashing the stock ROM)
Oh, and by the way, if you would have followed this tutorial when flashing those 3 custom ROMs, your 3G connectivity might have worked and you wouldn't have gotten into this kind of troubles by trying to flash stock ROM over custom ROM without wiping the most important component of any ROM (the /system folder!).
I have followed the flashing instruction via Odin through this link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34983298&postcount=2 but I still get stock recovery. Can anybody help me please as my flash counter is increasing but still can't have the Philz recovery.
i also same problem with my note 2 lte..

Maybe this will help...
1. Download PhilzTouchRecovery 6.26
2. Put device into Download Mode
3. Run Odin
4. Connect device
5. Load PhilzTouchRecovery.tar.md5 to PDA Tab/Button
6. Uncheck Auto Reboot from Odin
7. Click start. Once Pass! Disconnect device.
8. Hold Power Button, DON'T RELEASE till you boot into your new recovery.
9. Once booted to PhilzRecovery, select reboot system now, select yes. to make sure not to overwrite with stock recovery or else you're PhilzRecovery will be reverted back to your stock recovery and you have to flash again your PhilzRecovery.
10. Once successfully flashed PhilzRecovery. Make all necessary backups.
11. Once fully backed up. Copy backup files to your PC.
