[Q] email folder location - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have about 8,000 emails in my trash folder. I am using the stock email program that the Sprint Note II came with and the phone is rooted. I can not get the folder to populate so I can delete them.
Can anyone tell me where the emails are stored so I can go in with root explorer and delete them?
Thank you

I figured it out. I had to stop synch on my email accounts to be able to load the trash folder. Minimized each group and checked the box on the left of the group name, then hit the trash can icon at the top of the screen.
Thanks for the help.

Creating Email sub folders

I have a Tmobile Dash runniing WM6.1.
I use Gmail and have it correctly set up on my phone.
I would like to create another email folder, like stuff to keep or something like that but when I go to the manage folders page, I can not do anything. No create new folder or anything.
Does anyone know how I can create another email folder for my pop gmail account on my phone?
Thanks,

i have a question that i need help with too concerning gmail.
i set up the gmail account and i receive gmails just find and send just fine.
the problem is when i delete emails in my received box (and i have the DELETE OFF SERVER option checked under the WHEN DELETING EMAILS option in settings), well they DO NOT delete off the server. its so annoying. HELP!
I just want to be able to create a new folder so when I want to keep an email on my phone, from my gmail account, I can just put it there, and it wont fall off when I download the next three days messages.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
Go to messaging and under your e-mail you setup go to 'tools' and then 'options' and 'Account settings'. Instead of downloading the last 3 days, set it to "keep all." Now your phone and outlook will be synced completely

Yes, it will
If you set the time to manual...the emails will be deleted after your next manual check.
If you have it set to every 15, after the 15 minutes is when they get deleted/

How to Delete E-Mail Account?

Now that I've convinced myself there is no way to mass delete already deleted e-mails by emptying the trash folder, I have downloaded and installed K9.
For the life of me, I can't find a way to delete the original email account?
Typically these is a listing for accounts and you can delete them but I can't find this anywhere?

No folders for Exchange with FD26

I tried searching but to not avail. I installed Stock FD26 clean but when I sync'd up my Exchange email, it only gives me my main inbox and doesn't list my folders at all.
anyone else run into this or did I do something wrong?
1. Open email. Based on your explanation, it seems like you set up the exchange server setting correctly (at least if you see the incoming emails).
2. Click menu
3. Select Folders
4. Select the mailbox from there - inbox, drafts, outbox, sent,....
If you only see the inbox from there, definitely there's something wrong. You may need to reinstall the email app or remove the existing account and try to configure your exchange server again.
So I removed and readded my exchange account. Still only have my inbox, no subfolders. Upgraded to FC07 and still the same issue. Can someone confirm they have more than thier inbox for exchange in ICS.
I installed touchdown and got the same issue. I didn't have the issue on EL29.
I want to rule out ICS before I go to my IT dept

I have TD with my ics rom and do not have that problem. When u r in mail tab click menu more scroll to the bottom and select choose folders than just select the folders u want to sync. Stock exchange is limited and will not tell u u have a new email in a folder unless u switch to that folder.

Polska,
Thanks, I got it to work in TD but when you say that native exchange doesn't know to refresh a folder unless you click it, which I had to do in EL29 but my problem is that my sub folders don't even show up in my email app, it's just my inbox.
If I'm stuck with TD that's fine, but ideally I want to use the email app.

I had the same problem with GB and ICS which is why I use TD. With the stock app I can see the other folders and select them but it never notified me of a new mail unless it was in the inbox. So when I would look at the subfolder it would show (1) new emails but it didn't notify me of it.

[Q] copying "stored" email messages from PC to Note 2

To head off being flamed I'd just like to say that I have searched numerous forums for an answer to this question, AND I have posted a version of this on both note2forum.com and on forums.androidcentral.com - all to no avail. This leads me to believe that either my question is so stupid that no one feels it is worth responding, or there is no way to do this. Seems like this would be such a routine task for an email app that I must be missing something, but ????????
QUESTION 1: How can I copy/transfer email files currently stored on my PC in Windows Live Mail to the stock email app on my N2 so that I can view them efficiently? Does the stock email app store messages on the phone? If so, in what directory/subdirectory are they stored, and can I create a new folder within this file structure and copy the stored email from my PC to this email folder? If so, would these emails then show up in my stock email app? ----- OK, so it's a compound question!
If the answer to Question 1 is "it can't be done"; then
QUESTION 2: Is there a way to get the N2 to retain the email subject line in the file name when copying from the PC to a Note 2 file? As a workaround, I copied the stored email folders from my PC to my Note 2 in: "My files/all files/storage/sdcard0/savedemails". I can then view them in the "My files" folder. However, when I do this, the file names show up labeled with the file #, but no title. This makes it impossible to find the file I need without randomly opening every file to see if it is the right one.
BACKGROUND
I am using Note 2, Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with the stock email app (not gmail). My email provider is a POP3. I currently have a folder for upcoming travel plans that is stored in Windows Live Mail on my PC. The files in this folder were downloaded from the server over the past weeks/months when I had my server set to delete files after downloading. According to my internet provider, there is no way to uploaded these files back to the server. My IP suggested forwarding each file to my gmail account, but the one file I tried to do this with did not show up in my gmail.
Please help. I really need to find a way to get these emails onto my Note 2. I want to use these emails while on a trip to Germany. Since I speak little German, I plan to show the confirmation emails (which are in both German and English) on my phone when I check-in.

Just forward them to an account on your phone.
Or setup that account on your phone

Thanks. As stated in my original post, I had already tried several times to forward them to my gmail account and it hadn't worked, so I gave up. Your post made me go back and try again, and it worked as promised. There were problems initially with my password being rejected by my POP3 account, but I thought that was fixed. Looking back, I think that may have been the problem when I tried to forward to gmail initially.
Thanks for prompting me to try again..

If your talking about the standard email app that comes with the phone, you can pretty much pull that from any ROM.
Try @rwilco12's repository.
Also @erikalin's stock app will provide you with all stock apps.
