It will, but you also need init.d support, just follow instructions in this topic to enable it on stock rom

which partition you are using with link2sd? use ext3 its better fast and work all the time.
for script use cronmod int2ext+
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
its fast stable and great.i am using it. but for this script you need init.d support on your rom.
with s-off you can just port radio, and other ruu easily and also you can mtd partition and advanced stuff.:good:
and use ext3 partition bcz ext4 isn't support by much kernels so.
EDIT: but if you have cm9/cm10 rom installed on phone you can use int2ext4+ script (Ext4) partition. else use int2ext+ (Ext3)

difficult.i really dont know about how to add init.d support in rom(when you're using it). that guy posted link of thread which can give you init.d support.so follow it.
i think its only way.
in btw i can make rom with init.d support but i need boot and system files of rom.in short backup of rom or ruu.

I using kimsmod stock

if you are using this kimsmod
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771646
it has init.d support already.
but for int2ext+ you need to reflash your rom and then right after rom flash int2ext+ script.or it wont work.

INT2EXT+
-Mounts /sd-ext to /data
-Leaves /data/data on internal for speed
-Works with EXT 2/3/4 filesystems
-ZipAligns /data/app on every boot
-No symlinks
-First universal INT2EXT method
its dev said.
you just need to flash it. then go to mounts and storage> format /sd-ext
reboot.
now in your phone
go settings>applications>manage applications
you can see increased internal memory as you partitioned your sd card.
its same as data2sd script you have seen in old 3.5 sense rom and others but just more fast and new.

App2ext and data2ext with stock ROM and root

There is an application or something similar to enable app2sd and/or data2ext?
Or there is a ROM based on stock ROM with this two features?
thanks for help!
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
You can use link2sd on a stock rom (rooted) without busybox and init.d support. Im sure it wouldnt be as good as a2sd+ or data2sd.
If you want a2sd+ redcommend teppic74's rooted stock GB. If data2sd, Supernova or any other of Droidzones roms....
These are all listed in the "Everything desire is here" thread in the dev forum. Link2sd is on the market
Thanks!
I'll try asap!

You know what? You could have provided all the information about your setup on the first post so people can provide you with the right steps to go through. People here are not mind readers ya know?
So you have an ext partition... What type of ext partition? What is the size of that ext partition? What hboot you are using? Blah blah yada yada..

Installing new apps problem

Hi,
I'm using CM9.1.0 ALPHA9 by Modpunk, and I'm using Jinkataru Data2SD, I installed more than 60 apps but now when I try to install more apps from the Play Store it says "package file is invalid".
I tried to reflash the ROM, gapps and I tried to clear the cache of Play Store, but I thought the problem was the memory because if I cancel some apps I'm able to install new apps, but if I go in Settings>Memory the internal memory is 458MB of Applications and 541MB free, and if I install an app from the Internal Memory I don't have any problems.
I used to gave this problem too, when I used Jikantaru's DATA2SD. I think you should switch to Int2EXT. It works like a charm on CM9. I never had any if these problems again.
Good luck!

You could also download the zip file, place it on sd card. Go to recovery, mount system, mount data. Flash int2extv2.zip. Wipe sd ext and dalvik cache, reboot.
