If you want to go back to 100% stock then just flash the 4.2.1 factory image

Of course Galaxy Nexus stock ROMs..
and some custom ROMs!
I recommend Jelly Bean 4.1.1 "takju".
Stock is most stable. If you want a custom ROM, go try them and see what works for you.

Ktoonsez KT747 will work on TW ICS. I'm using it on AOKP 4.2.1 and it is stellar. You can find it in the original android development section.
what's the different between TW and ICS because there is 2 kernels over there one for TW and one for ICS?
THANKS
TW is if your on stock and still use touchwiz. ICS is if you're rooted and on an AOSP based ROM such as CM or AOKP.
And if i'm stock ics rooted?

Click to collapse
Then use the TW version. If you are to flash a new ROM, you'll need to re flash the kernel. Additionally, if you flash an AOSP ROM, be sure to flash the AOSP variant.

4.1.2 to 4.2.2

I read that 4.2 wasn't that great which is why I jst stayed with 4.1.2, but I've read that 4.2.2 is better. Is it worth switching? To do so, do I need to do anything different or just wipe data and flash a 4.2.2 rom?
