[Q] Question regarding versions - HTC One X

My version under cidgetter says 3.14.401.31 while in bootloader, with the adb command says my software version is 3.14.708.28
CID: HTC__622.
Where can I find the latest JB RUU for my phone? Seems like something is screwed up with my phone, hence why I have issues with it. Dang auto JB installers.

do it with fastboot command
phone in the bootloader/fastboot usb mode
then fastboot getvar version-main
this is the real version !

Since you can go to hboot, that is good enough to check your CID.
Be in fastboot mode and type this :
fastboot getvar cid
Example here, mine is HTC__044
Code:
C:\Users\ckpv5-A\Desktop\fastboot>fastboot getvar cid
cid: HTC__044
finished. total time: 0.001s
C:\Users\ckpv5-A\Desktop\fastboot>
Please Help to get CID of my HTC Panache Phone

Hello ckpv5,
I have the same problem (My HTC Panache stuck on HTC Logo. When I Press
On + Volume Down, I go to HBoot). Please describe more what I should do?
I connect my HTC Panache (while it is on HBoot) to USB port of my computer,
but from Windows 7 Command Prompt I cannot go to (fastboot) directory. Why?
Do I need to install any software on my computer to do that?
Please help to get CID of my phone.
Thanks.

You are on wrong forum man, this is for One V.
Anyway.. why do you need to know your HTC Panache CID ? There are only two of them either Videotron or Mobilicity. Which is yours ?
Have you try the Factory Reset ? When you are on HBOOT, you should see FACTORY RESET menu I guess.
If you want to check your CID, firstly you must have the HTC USB driver installed on your PC and also fastboot files on your PC too. Without these two items, you can't do the fastboot getvar cid

Thanks ckpv5 for your respond.
My phone is HTC Panache from Mobilicity which I think is the same as MyTouch 4G of Videotron.
Its model under battery is written: PD15100.
Factory Reset does not do any action (phone hangs at the same menu and cannot do anything after that).
I need CID to make a Gold Card and install new stock android on my phone
by using MicroSD. I have tried different Stock android versions
of Panache & MyTouch 4G , but I always get wrong CID message.
I believe that I have installed HTS USB drivers (included in HTC Sync sowftware) for my HTC.
Where can I get the fastboot files for HTC to install it on Windows?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Attached is the fastboot.zip
Extract it to C:/
Connect your device in fastboot mode
When you go to HBOOT
Press power once, you will be in fastboot
The open a command prompt
cd\
cd fastboot
fastboot getvar cid
or
fastboot oem readcid
Other than this I can't help more as I don't have that device and also this is in a wrong forum

I think it worked ckpv5. I got the following:
========================
C:\fastboot>fastboot getvar cid
cid: DAVE_001
finished. total time: 0.007s
========================
The other command (fastboot oem readcid) did not work:
========================
C:\>fastboot oem readcid
... INFO[ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.016s]
finished. total time: 0.016s
========================
Is < DAVE_001> my CID?
Is it what I need to make a GooldCard?
I also run another command (may not be related at all):
C:\fastboot>fastboot devices
SH169RM00588 fastboot
Thank you.

Ya... DAVE_001 is your CID. If you ever need to run a RUU to revert your device to stock, you need RUU_Glacier_Gingerbread_S_DAVE_CA_2.09.1800.1_Radi o_12.55.60.25_26.09.04.26_M
And that is not the CID for making a GoldCard. You use a Goldcard tool to have the CID that will look something like this
1B534D303030303010B15A45800093F6
As this is not related to One V, anything further you need to know, send me PM.

[Q] How do I find my CID? [SOLVED]

I've been looking at the JellyBean ROMs and see that they require you to have the right CID but I'm having trouble finding mine. I've tried both CID Getter from the Play Store and "getprop ro.cid" from a terminal prompt but neither show anything. The terminal entry just acts like I hit return and there isn't an entry for CID listed in the information CID Getter shows me. I'm about to restore an ICS Sense build as I'm using a CM10 nightly and see if that helps but in the meantime if anyone has another method please let me know.
I searched and the only results of note suggest CID Getter or using the terminal command which I've already tried.
In fastboot, use
Fastboot getvar all
Or
Fastboot oem readcid

That did it, thanks! Getvar showed "cidnum: None" but I know it's a branded handset. The second gave me "T-MOB005" so I'm now stuck waiting a few years to see when T-Mobile get around to releasing the update.

[Q] CWM jelly bean stock backup

Hi,
Does anyone have stock jelly bean one X rom backed up with CWM? I really need it
What's your cid and main version
Fastboot oem readcid
Fastboot getvar version-main
HTC__032
version-main: 3.14.401.27
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
You an check there for a nandroid backup. it does not have to match your CID. any 3.14.401 should work.
Or else here is your RUU
http://androidfiles.org/ruu/securek...Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed.exe
Oh! There is RUU!! Had no ide, this is something new?
No its not new... Do you know how to install it ?
You put the phone in the bootloader and lock the bootloader
Fastboot oem lock
Then you keep the phone in the bootloader and execute the ruu with admin rights (click the ruu.exe with the right mousebutton)

[Q] One X ruu flashing issue

please help when setup is nearly complete it says bootloader version error
Do
fastboot getvar version-main
Make sure the RUU file matches the output. If it does, make sure you locked the bootloader before running the RUU (fastboot oem lock)
Also make sure to run it as admin.

Download this RUU :http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...12-radio-2120413520-release-274900-signedexe/
Lock your bootloader using following command:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Then run the ruu with admin privileges. It will take your phone to full stock! Then you can update OTA via Software Updates to the latest firmware and then you can flash any 4.2.2 roms out here!
