Hello
Please I need nandroid backup 3.14.206.27 for htc one x can you upload it please....
Dowbload the 2.17.206 nandroid backup from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
Restore it including the boot.img and flash back the 2.17 stock recovery afterwards
http://db.tt/U5CK4noo
Then update again in the software update menu of the phone. It will bring you back to stock 3.14 software
Hi,
I am stuck on a similar thing. Can someone please help me with the boot.img and recovery.img for the stock 2.17 please? The link you have mentioned isnt working now. My CID is O2__001 (Hboot = 1.36.0000 and S-ON). Basically what I want to do is to update to 3.14 (stock) so that I can update to the latest JB 4.2.2. Urgent help please!! :'(

Yes you do it by cw recovery, after installation have to flash boot.img form backup file and flash this stock recovery <<<http://d-h.st/p3X>>> and then relock bootloader and check for update and download OTA & install it.
Currently its downloading the 4.18.206.4 update. I noticed that the nanroid you gave me is a rooted version. Does this mean that it doesnt matter if the firmware is rooted for it to update through OTA?
---------- Post added at 04:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:07 PM ----------
I tried updating with the stock recovery and bootloader locked but it still failed. it failed right after the verification stage (it said applying_patch_check something). any idea what can be going wrong?

anyone who can help me urgently please?

If so try with Philz_Touch recovery, you download OTA file and install it by Philz_Tuoch recovery with manually flash.
Ive never tried this recovery before. Do you have a reliable tutorial for this?

download firmware from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376 (it's the first one) for your cid! I assumed that you need backup, not recovery.img! I just woke up flash via fastboot command!
Sorry for wrong information for firmware from nandroid backups, i ment from stock OTA files matching your CID and main version or from link with only firmware version from OTA (Thanks again Mr Hofs) - morning isn't my part of day
Thanks!
You need the 3.14 stock recovery. Its not updated ....not even to the 3.20 base.
If you need a stock one you can't use one from a nandroid backup, its a custom recovery because the nandroid is made with a custom one !

Hello Guys,
yesterday I tried to flash cyanogenmod 10.1 on my phone an i got this error.
assert failed: getprop("ro.bootloader") == "1.28.0000"
My CID is VODAP102 an I think the problem is that i have a to old Version of hboot für this rom.
when i use the command
fastboot getvar version-main
i got the answer
version-main: 1.28.161.9
Is this my hboot version?
Can anyone help me.
My Handy is hanging in a bootloop now. :crying:
That is your main version.
Hboot you can read in the bootloader. Probably you will have to update hboot, because 1.28.xxx is rather old...

Did you flash stock boot.img and recovery.img?
Usually, when HOX gets into bootloop, it's because boot.img is missing. You should find the one in my nandroid. Flaash it, and see how it goes.

then i flashed boot.img 2 times with the command
fastboot flash boot boot.img

then i started recovery with my smartphone
then i restored your nandroid -> completly Successfull
Now im hanging in the startscreen "quietly brilliant"
my hboot version ist 0.94.0000. Could that be the reason?
if it is so, can you tell me how to update it and send me a link of the correct version.

I am not completely sure about it, because this action should have updated your firmware, too. Is your hboot 0.94 after restoring nandroid?
If so, find proper firmware (1.36 as minimum), and flash it, too. It should be in general, or q&a section, I can't remember right now. It should be .img or .zip file I think.
Also, try wiping cache, that might be also a reason for your problems.
Remember to keep your battery well charged!

Hey guys,
i have a european HTC 10 with root, stock android 6, s-on and Team Win Recovery Projekt 3.0.2-6. I wanna go to full stock (stock recovery) and update to official Nougat
I googled and found people saying to use RUU. My CID is HTC_034 and I downloaded RUU zip for this CID.
I put it on my root sd card and enter downlaod mdoe wit hvol down and power, confirm with vol up and get a error that something is missing. (Edit: 19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in adnroid-info missing or i)
Did I do something wrong? Or is my dl corrupt?

Is this way also for stock recovery?

Now i think i should have flashed TWRP first to get everything original right? With a locked bootloader it wont work or will it?

You can't get "locked" status without S-Off. You can only get "relocked" status which will show that the bootloader was once unlocked.

If it works after an RUU then there is no need to send it for repairs. It's probably from the ROM you are running or some other software related issue.

I'm aware of that, however that wasn't asked and I was expecting the next question to be about relocked status. Besides, even with s off and locked status ( which I have ) there is still a message on set up regarding the device being a test device anyway
