Thank you so much, will try it later:laugh:

I'm a little confused by the instructions.. I don't understand. Is this just a launcher or a rom?
If I install is it going to mess up my currently installed apps and settings?

No, just install it using CWM, like flasing a rom or gapps .zip
The Launcher is great, I really miss my Xperia phones now my nexus launcher feels smooth and fast like my Arc S

Flashed disabled Auto rotation 6x4 xhdpi, widgets and wallpapers...see apps and widgets from xperia launcher, but not the launcher itself?
Flashed V2, works and i can use the launcher... but V3 does not work!
Which version did you flash?
Did you flashed directly V3 or something first?

Try this - http://db.tt/O9z5a48h
Download. Extract. Copy and paste the apps to system/app. Set permissions to rw-r-r for all and reboot (maybe even wipe cache and dvalik)
No guarantees tho!

Re: Next Launcher 3D the best...
No I am not a developper, I am an android Newbie. And not related with the app developers at all.
I am just giving a honest review of the most beautiful Wallpaper I have ever used in my device.
Besides, the launcher I think runs very smooth, And I do agree that the app is quite expensive. That is why I am saying try it , Keep the wallpaper and return it...
Re: Next Launcher 3D the best...
By the way, I ONLY recommend it in your AOSP jb 4.2.1 ROM,
By no means it is a substitution of the Touchwiz in jb 4.1.2.
But as a substitute of the AOSP 4.2.1 launcher, it's great.

The app does not eat a lot of ram same as touchwiz does. But it need a lot of upgrade some it become more usable for me it's better now the touchwiz with jkay in build wire list

New Xperia Z launcher laggs!!!!?!?!

Hey guys,
I am on UHD Rom 2.0.3 and have installed the new Z launcher via cwm.
Well, the layout of the launcher is very cool, but it laggs very hard in homescreen and app drawer.
What should I do to get it smooth?
Thanks

Buy a new phone. But seriously, how much of free ram do you have? You can always try to overclock or flash JB adreno drivers it helped me a lot when I used stock ICS. If none of these helped then you can only wait for some better answers...

Xperia S lag and smoothness issues

Hello all.
I have my Xperia S for one month now and I am becoming more and more frustrated with the frequent lags and slowness of the system in general.
On the same day I bought it, I discovered that I was with a locked bootloader and from then on, despite my attempts to improve the system by rooting and trying several Roms I am about to give up hope.
I am now with KA25 ROM but already tried XZXperience 2 and Turbo ROM. From all of these I must say that sooner or later the system becomes laggy and starts to have strangely large access times to some actions or apps.
I notice this in the contacts app a lot, in the messaging app, on the in-call and after call screens, slow loading times while performing normal tasks, like in the album scrolling and accessing images, hiccups and annoying sounds within the Walkman app. Don't know where to even start or stop.
Sometimes I feel that it must be something related to ICS but I would like to have your opinion on these issues.
Also, I am having thoughts about going back to basics and just factory reset the whole phone. Would this clean all of the "debris" the rooting and appliance of several Roms could have done to the phone?
How would I do this? Just flashing with flashtool a clean stock image?
Any advice or any second thoughts, or even the sharing of similar experiences would be great and I would be grateful.
Looking to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the feedback. When you mention tweaks what do you precisely mean? Because I have tried some tools like Pimp my ROM which state to have entropy generators and other speed tweaks but up until now it is pretty much of the same...
However I must agree that waiting for Jelly Bean is the most straightforward solution however I am surprised that a good device like Xperia S has this difficulty dealing with ICS or any usual tasks.
I came from an HTC Sensation XE and with ICS ROMS these issues were not so frequent.
However and I must address this in the topic I have been restoring the apps from ROM manager when changing ROM. Would this have any influence in the short term to the system stability and general speed?
Many thanks.

Here's what i did, hope i can help you with smoothness.First of all clean flash your stock ftf to remove all tweaks. After that flash the seeder zip file in cwm(search for it in forum). No other tweaks should be there except the touch screen pressure in system-user-idc set it to .001.Now install Mr.Nice guy app in playstore or from blackmart.Download the latest xperia launcher v 2.05b (set its transparency of app drawer to 70%,app drawer size 6*5).Now in mr.nice guy app set this xperia launcher priority to high. Thats it now you will have a very smooth rom.Not to mention you can always install the sony widgets for this launcher

i'm facing lag when running a few apps that has a floating bubble like toucher and facebook chat heads even Velis Auto Brightness

Don't make it harder for your phone to react, by installing lots of apps that you don't really need, like Velis Auto Brightness. And you should try installing HONAMI HOME Launcher, you'll have no lag.
thanks for your reply i tried honami launcher it's much smoother but the lag still when running those apps

Sometimes yes. Stock gets much stable and smooth.after removal of bloatwares .while modding somehow slows the ph, nt everytime or every mod.
Thats why modded roms are free from bloatware.
