[Q] system lag when running some apps - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

i'm facing lag when running a few apps that has a floating bubble like toucher and facebook chat heads even Velis Auto Brightness
the lag is only on launchers i tried a lot all the same (Apex - all xperia launchers - miui launcher ------ etc)
I'm on XS 4.1.2 trinity rom 2.8
does anyone have these issues or just me ?
what should i do heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp i'm starting to hate my phone

Don't make it harder for your phone to react, by installing lots of apps that you don't really need, like Velis Auto Brightness. And you should try installing HONAMI HOME Launcher, you'll have no lag.

thanks for your reply i tried honami launcher it's much smoother but the lag still when running those apps

Sometimes yes. Stock gets much stable and smooth.after removal of bloatwares .while modding somehow slows the ph, nt everytime or every mod.
Thats why modded roms are free from bloatware.

[Q] Black screen on games

I having a black screen when i select some games. The game seens to load, sound efects and etc, but no grafics, only a black screen. It is no happens in every game, just some. I´m using Slimbeam with stock kernel, and Seeder V7. There a configuration or some trick to solve this?
try using CHAINFIRE3d.....
If the game stays that way and TK asks for FC of the game, the game most likely don't fit your device. Try going pristine, and use kernel with bigmem.
I faced the same situation too... Jelly Bean sometimes cant run games like beach buggy blitz and Riptide gp... I use CM10 and SlimBean... Than i switch to ICS because its still not working...

Xperia S lag and smoothness issues

Hello all.
I have my Xperia S for one month now and I am becoming more and more frustrated with the frequent lags and slowness of the system in general.
On the same day I bought it, I discovered that I was with a locked bootloader and from then on, despite my attempts to improve the system by rooting and trying several Roms I am about to give up hope.
I am now with KA25 ROM but already tried XZXperience 2 and Turbo ROM. From all of these I must say that sooner or later the system becomes laggy and starts to have strangely large access times to some actions or apps.
I notice this in the contacts app a lot, in the messaging app, on the in-call and after call screens, slow loading times while performing normal tasks, like in the album scrolling and accessing images, hiccups and annoying sounds within the Walkman app. Don't know where to even start or stop.
Sometimes I feel that it must be something related to ICS but I would like to have your opinion on these issues.
Also, I am having thoughts about going back to basics and just factory reset the whole phone. Would this clean all of the "debris" the rooting and appliance of several Roms could have done to the phone?
How would I do this? Just flashing with flashtool a clean stock image?
Any advice or any second thoughts, or even the sharing of similar experiences would be great and I would be grateful.
Looking to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the feedback. When you mention tweaks what do you precisely mean? Because I have tried some tools like Pimp my ROM which state to have entropy generators and other speed tweaks but up until now it is pretty much of the same...
However I must agree that waiting for Jelly Bean is the most straightforward solution however I am surprised that a good device like Xperia S has this difficulty dealing with ICS or any usual tasks.
I came from an HTC Sensation XE and with ICS ROMS these issues were not so frequent.
However and I must address this in the topic I have been restoring the apps from ROM manager when changing ROM. Would this have any influence in the short term to the system stability and general speed?
Many thanks.

But is there a way to close running apps ?
In android 4.1+ if you hold HOME you can kill every running app you want with a swipe..
That just removes recent apps from the list, im sure it does'nt kill them. Have a look in ur apps and see if theres an app called task manager, if so u can kill all apps there. Most sense roms have it.
EDIT: Just thought of this rom, Alex-V, he has a bliss mod version, so basically theres not that "bar" from the bottom Alex GingerBreadSense-

Rom doesn't function well, need good xperia z looking replacement

I've been using the 'Xperia Express Z ICS Rom' made by imputazz lately and i have noticed a lot of bugs and glitches.
1. The keyboard doesn't show up sometimes and i need to force stop the app to get it to work again.
2. while using the browser or playing games if i try to turn the volume down, it takes about 3 - 6 seconds for it to take effect.
3. touchscreen doesn't work half the time while i play games.
Are these problems rom-based?
If not, how can i fix these?
If yes, can you recommend me any other good roms that has the same stock launcher as the xperia z and DO NOT HAVE any of these problems.
