[Q] |ROM| Jedi Jelly 4 |4.1.2||Flashbar|| 1|17 - Telus Issues - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hey,
I'm trying to get this rom to work on the Telus network, but it keeps saying "No signal found for mobile network".
I have flashed the telus radio to see if that would help and it didn't work (KJ3 and TLLE4)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1895400
I have made changed to the APN setting and rebooted the phone but I'm still getting the same issue.
Any Ideas?

Try other radio

I am going to try and make an app, if anyone wants help this beautiful talented celebrity in making it just message me!

Tlle4 should work. Double check apn settings. Maybe reflash old rom and write it all down....and triple check it.
All I can think of.

Do a super clean flash, wipe everything 2-3 times flash then wipe dalvik/cache and fix permissions

It Works.
Hey guys,
Thanks for your help. I finally got it working. Seems the issues was with the settings. I installed Liquid Smooth, Took screen shots of the APN settings and It turns out that the APN TYPE is what was causing the issues. I had everything else set-up properly and once I changed the APN Type from DUN to default, supl, mms, the 4G icon appeared and I was able to connect to the internet.
Thank you all for you help.

[Q] change about phone?

It's our possible to change what the about phone says. For example, change android version to 5.7.8. I want to make them say cool stuff. Any suggestions?

I believe changing the build.prop values might do the trick. Just make sure you do a backup first, because certain changes can cause your ROM not to boot.
Russian smashed across the interwebz from my T-Mobile Galaxy S2. Please hit thanks if I helped.

It worked, but after I restarted I got zero signal. Even after restoring freshly backuped Rom.

[Q] How can I get the superuser to work again after update to ICS?

I rooted my S2 when it was still running on Gingerbread.
I just updated it to ICS 4.0.4 a couple of days ago and now the superuser doesn't work anymore.
I didn't reset it to factory default before update so what should I do to make it function again?
Thanks.

Upgrading to ICS lost root. Superuser is just a play store app so it'll stay even after losing root.
Re-root and you'll be back in business.

Virgin E4GT MMS/etc... Fix after ROM flash?

Hey guys, I joined just a month ago and I thought I had everything worked out for when I activate my Virgin mobile E4GT. However, I can't seem to find the thread around here about how to fix the MMS issue/etc for a Virgin E4GT when flashing it to a Rom specified for the Sprint E4GT. I've seen plenty of fixes, but none of them hold a similar method. I would like a method that is known to work currently because I would like this flashing transition to be as smooth as possible.
Extra info: I'm trying to install the CyanogenMod 10.1.
I apologize for my noob question, however I think this is important to know considering all the new peeps coming from the new carriers. Maybe add these details to the stickied thread of noob questions??
I will thank your posts! Much appreciated for those who can help me out!
EDIT:
Problems
1. Okay, I've been on the ROM Paranoid Android 2.54 and the creator says it contains all the fixes for Virgin mobile, however, I'm receiving the MMS issues. It was working fantastic last night, until I went and cleaned my phone with SD Maid Pro/System Tuner Pro and froze a few apps. I don't think I disabled anything that would effect my MMS. (Just TvOut, Live wallpapers, etc...)
2. Been also trying to improve 4G data speeds via ##3282# (##DATA#), except I get nothing but "USSD code running" or "The number you have called is invalid, please check the number and call again"
Does anyone have an idea as how I get around this? I've looked all around and the Virgin mobile users are not only scattered in random places, but far and few between. I'd like to get active in this community, but I find it hard to without a decently functional phone. Please help?

[Q] Phone Doesn't Read Certain Music Files

Hello there, I'm new to this forum.
I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 with the P.A.C Man rom installed, and for some reason, there are certain music files that aren't seen by Apollo, even though I can see them through my File Manager. This works the same way with other roms that I have installed. Is there something wrong with the rom, or is it the music file? All the files are in the same format (.mp3), but it won't read those in the player. When I had the All-Star Rom installed, I could go through the File Manager and use open with, but it doesn't work with this one. Help please
Thank you

Chances are there's nothing wrong with your music files. Unfortunately you'll have to use another player. Or go back to All Star
