[Q] Weird issue with market today! - HTC One V

So I am having weird issues, not rooted, running latest software. My volume when receiving texts was very low, even though my volumes were all the way up. Also, I keep getting facebook updates, they download but when I install I get an error message, I have to delete apps, even though I barely have any. I figured it was time to re root anyways. So I RUU'd back to the last version, unlocked the bootloader and rooted. I'm on the stock rom, before this latest update that ends in .6 My market now says downloading, but it wont actually download. I've tried restarting, I've cleared the market data and cache. Nothing.

Finally got one of my apps to update, using wifi, only at 19% after about an hour.....

[Q]Download doesn't finish @ Play Store [cm9 latest update]

Hi
The market is working and the updates are shown correctly.
However, whenever I choose "Update all" or just a single app for updating, the process starts but the file isn't downloaded. It just gets stuck at the "downloading.."-visualisation. For hours.
I've reflashed the newest gapps, tried to reinstall the market via titanium, but the issue persists. Any idea?
Clarification: There is no freeze, or no error message or something like that. It just doesn't start/finish to download the apps properly
Yeah yeah, of course:
Couple of minutes after finally posting to xda the problem is solved:
I reinstalled my backup via titanium, wiped the data,
entered the store. The phone crashed,
I took out the battery and inserted it again,
after restarting it demanded my agreement to the market update (not the initial one), it worked again

Crash and reset when trying to update apps

Hey all,
My note 2 is locking up after I install or update an app in the play store, then restarts. The app update goes through successfully, but then locks up afterwards regardless of what I do next. This happens on both Wifi and HSPA.
My phone is rooted with the stock ROM.
Some apps were backed up and restored via Titanium Backup. I believe it has to do with these apps. Some apps' data was on the SD card. I uninstalled those apps, but it hasn't helped. The crash happens regardless of the app I update or install, whether or not it was restored via Titanium, downloaded for the first time from the market, or an app that came stock on the phone.
I tried clearing dalvik cache, but that hasn't helped. I tried pulling logs via logcat, but I can't find anything useful.
Any suggestions before I start uninstalling those apps one by one?
Thanks!
Here are three log cats from the time of crash.
File 1044pm: Updated an app via WiFi, then opened another app; it froze up on the Loading screen and restarted after about 1 minute.
File 1108pm: Updated an app via Wifi, then pulled down the notifications bar; it got stuck about 90% of the way down and locked up and restarted after about 1 minute. (System starts killing processes around line 32178)
File 1140pm: Updated an app via HSPA, then did nothing; phone restarted after about 90 seconds.
(System starts killing processes around line 28248)
If anyone has enough knowledge to tell me what might have happened, I would be very grateful!

[Q] Cant get rid of "Phone: HBPCG" popup

So last night I flashed dottat's RUU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...nt/ruu-vzw-kitkat4-4-3-sense-6-s-off-t2867643) to update my phone to 4.4.3 stock. Usually when I run the stock rom, I try to get rid of all the verizon bloat garbage using root app delete and root browser. Maybe this time I got a little overzealous, because I most recently deleted two system apps: verizon location app, and the verizon cloud sync app. Before I did this, everything seemed to run fine. But after getting rid of those two, everything went haywire. Every few seconds my phone app would crash and it would give me the message that "unfortunately, com.android.phone has crashed"and the display kept flickering on and off. Also, I keep getting a poppup for an app called Phone: HBPCG Current Country" telling me I have not input my country, and asks me to select one from a blank list. After trying a few things, I went into TWRP to wipe the cache and dalvik. Fortunately, that seems to have cleared up the com.phone process from crashing every 10 seconds or so. But I still keep getting asked to select a country from "HBPCG Current Country". Has anybody experienced this or does anybody know how to stop it, maybe by deleting another service? I can't remember ever seeing a "verizon location reporting" app in 4.4.2 so I figured it was more garbage that verizon added to the ROM as needless bloat, and didn't think it would affect other phone services.
Thanks for any help on this, it's really irritating me. If I can't get it resolved I figure I might have the run the RUU again.
I should probably also mention that after wiping the caches, I got the "android is upgrading" bit when I rebooted and it said it was optimizing 67 apps. I'm not sure what that was for since I didn't flash any updates or anything, but I figure maybe recaching some system info since I ripped out so much system bloatware?
Now that santod released stock 4.4.3 debloated you should just flash that ROM instead. Sounds like less of a headache to just completely wipe and go from there.

Verizon Location WAS in fact in 4.4.2, and many services of the phone depend on it and won't function without it…

Pandora stopped working, stuck at splash

Hello all. Hoping someone can help me figure out why Pandora has stopped working on my N7 2013. It is fairly new, got it for Xmas. It is unlocked and rooted, but running the stock 4.3 rom (no interest in 4.4+ at this time).
Pandora was working fine at first, but when I opened it yesterday, it gave me an error, saying something like "your pandora session has timed out", and kicked me out of the app. Opened it back up, and it was stuck at the splash. Left it for several minutes, and nothing. So I force closed it, cleared it's data and cache, and reopened it, same problem. Uninstalled it, reinstalled it, same problem.
Went into recovery, cleared dalvik and cache, booted back up, reinstalled Pandora, same problem. So finally, I made a titanium backup of all my apps (no system settings), did a factory reset, restored my backed up apps, everything EXCEPT Pandora, downloaded that fresh from the play store, opened it, same problem... wtf???
Ok, fine, it wants to play hard ball... so I did another factory reset, then wiped data, cache and dalvik seperately. Booted, set up my google account, and didn't install ANYTHING, EXCEPT for Pandora.
SAME PROBLEM!!
What is going on here??? For what it's worth, Pandora still works fine on my phone (Rooted 4.3 GS4). So it's not a server outage or anything like that. This has been going on since last night.
My last ditch effort would be to restore the factory image, then unlock and reroot again but damn... what could possible be stuck so bad as to survive all that? I have not modified /system/ at all except for installing busybox and supersu.
... well... what the heck. So I flashed the factory image, and now, finally, Pandora is working again.
I can't think what the heck would have happened in /system/ or anywhere else other than /data/ that would stick through a factory reset and keep Pandora from working....
Any ideas? I really, REALLY want to avoid this happening again.
Upgrade
I have installed Pandora v5.5
I don't think it is available in the Play Store yet. It could be an issue with ART and Lollipop. Flashing a stock older image could be what works with that version.
I only see Pandora 5.4 in the Play Store.
5.5 brings a new Interface and some really cool features. You have to find it online and side load it. Probably what your problem is/was.

[Q] Google Playstore Broke?

Good morning! Alright. So. All I've done to my phone was Root it and get Xposed on it. Everything was completely fine until last night. Now, whenever I try to download anything from the Playstore, it just gets stuck on "Downloading". I've tried wiping its cache, its data, force closing it, reinstalling the update. Nothing seems to solve this issue. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue on this phone, and how they resolved it? I can't even update my applications, and I didn't even get a chance to Update my Phone, but now when I try to Scan for Updates, it just gets stuck searching :/
This happened to me at first. What worked for me for a couple days was to toggle airplane mode. Then, it started getting stuck again. So, I downloaded Beans GAPPS, and extracted Google Play services and Play Store.apk, and that seems to be working. Keep in mind, that not everything is going to work smoothly. If none of this works, look for the .apk and move it to your device and install it that way. Hope that helps, bud.
I tried Googling Beans GApps, but it seems like they haven't been updated in about a year. Or am I looking in the wrong places?
This has also been my problem since getting a pixel 2 xl almost a month ago. In fact, I wanted to make a thread about my issue earlier but I'm just too lazy! The only thing I did at first was to unlock the bootloader.
Now, I am completely stock without even root but my playstore downloads are stuck in "downloading" and usually the download starts after being stuck in this phase with about 15-30 minutes delay (which could even be hours before my download is finally started, so it's random). The funny thing is playstore lists my device certification status as "uncertified" in the settings. I have tried clearing cache+data of play services+play store+removing/adding my Google account. I also did a fresh and clean install of the May security update rom but all to no avail. I remember reading in another thread that Google may impose a 7 day lock or something for your Google account in these instances so at this point I am just waiting it out (only 3-4 more days remaining) to see if my problem goes away by itself, otherwise, I am pretty clueless as to what I should do next.
