Lk8 and. Ljc whats the difference ? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I am running a Rom that I am very fond of it happens to be of the Lk8 variety but due to a compatability issue I may need to change to cleanrom or beans rom due to the fact it works with my Dac/Amp but they both are Ljc type Roms I believe.
So what is the difference and what problems do I need to be aware of when flashing an Ljc Rom after running an Lk8 Rom?
Thanks for your help

Not to sure of the little stuff but with the ljc you will have more carrier specific stuff since thats the official and lk8 is a leak. If you roll back to ljc you will get tge chameleon errors but there are fixes for that in general and development sections

This is all fairly new to me although my years of working on PCs helps I still am a novice in all things Android

LK8 with LJC loaded rom.. Does it matter??

I have the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 with Mack's rom that shows it is equipped wIth the LJC but I ran the all in one LK8 on an earlier rom and it shows that I still have Lk8. What's the difference?? Is it better or worse.....
If it works fine count yourself lucky... If it doesn't, then the first likely problem source is lk8

Where are the Flashable Modems?

Ok so for some reason! I can't find any flashable Modems/Radios for Tmobile Note 2. I wanted to see if a different one would make any difference. I just moved into a new house and have little to no service. So wanted to see if that would help or make it worse. I'm using Jedi XX Rom and Saber Kernel 15.2+ with the UVALK8 Modem! Thanks a million

what is wrong with mc2?

there are so few mc2 ROMs and they are all broken in some way. why are the good devs staying away from it?

Thing is that it's not that big of an update to completely redo a whole rom. Plus MA7 has nothing wrong in my opinion.

Yup, and many of us are waiting for 4.2.2 TWiz to bother with another update on TWiz ROMs...unless there are glaring bugs.
OP, when Samsung releases an updated firmware...they basically completely rewrite where everything is located...which essentially means that you have to start completely from zero, figuring out where the hell Samsung hid what and figuring out again what needs done to change what....it is the definition of a software root canal.

Personally I had some sort of degrading performance issue on MC2 that doesn't exist on MA7, both were deodexed.

[Q] new to the Note 2 roms

can anyone point me to the newest cutting edge TW rom....I'm new to the Note 2 roms and some plainly say whether they are CM, Akop...etc, but some dont say any source. I want to keep my pen and multi window if possible. As of right now I'm running deodexed stock with SaberKernel, but looking to flash a dependable rom. Thanx!!
Flash them and see.

mc2 are post ota, ma7 are pre ota touchwiz roms. since i've applied the ota on my device i stick with mc2 roms.

All the ones in the android development section are tw or tw based. The ones in ORIGINAL android development are open source roms whether cm or aokp. If you see some in android development that say cm or aokp they are merely tw roms edited to look like cm or aokp

Will at&t visual voice mail still work on dandroid?

Getting ready to flash my rooted 4.1.2 on at&t... Trying to determine at&t VVM will still work on the newest dandroid rom. Thanks in advance.

I assume it will work. It's based on 4.1.2 att touchwiz. Only thing that's different is the theme along with massive debloating.
