LK8 with LJC loaded rom.. Does it matter?? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 with Mack's rom that shows it is equipped wIth the LJC but I ran the all in one LK8 on an earlier rom and it shows that I still have Lk8. What's the difference?? Is it better or worse.....

If it works fine count yourself lucky... If it doesn't, then the first likely problem source is lk8

If it comes out for the 7105 yes, you would need to flash the Tmo modem but other then that it should work. Now if it is for the 7100 then no it wont work.
7105 = international LTE
7100 = international GSM only

Im positive we will get aokp & cm10 once source is released. Our notes are too new yet, give it time. Im betting by early next year we will have something.
i was just getting ready to flash the lastest n7100 nightly and looked here again just to see.. glad i did.. would have been a pain to odin back to stock and start over.
Yea I tired flagging the nightly and it killed my baseband. I just restored from nandroid and it worked again.
It was so nice to have the speed and look of AOSP on this phone though. I really can't wait until we get AOSP ROMs or until we figure out a way to port N7100 ROMs.

Why is TMO Note 2 rom development non-existent?

ATT has any rom they want, tmo has nothing.
why is that?

Check out the Jedi Roms. Ptmr3 is an awesone dev for our tmo note2.
Yes but I was wondering about aosp, aokp, and cm10 or even miui, the att version came out later than ours and they have any room they want, such a shame I can't afford att, and we only have the jedi series, but don't get me wrong jedi x kick ass

Yup. All of them. Just be ready to flash the T-Mobile radio if a ROM includes it.

so if I just flashed at&t rom, and after that I flashed my T-Mobile radio, everything will fine or I still get a few problems with the connection etc....?
I know it will install on ours, I played with miui for a bit. I also saw good speeds. But, I wonder about intermittent issues.

Because that nifty little s pen wont work with other roms amongst other things

The s pen is TW exclusive right? Or is it app based?

So just flash att rom and tmo radio right after then it should be good.?

Flash Player not working on UVALK8 Update

Anyone notice the flash player is not working on the new t-mobile update 4.1.1 UVALK8
That's because the Note 2 doesn't have flash player to begin with. You have to side load it

Still working just fine on the stock browser after the update

Yes, but is your phone completely stock?
As I've said the Note 2 or any jelly bean phones does not come with flash.

Yup, stock. I did side load flash.
Then it's not completely stock.
The point to the op is that he didn't lose flash. He just had flash installed at some point. The update reverted everything back to oem state so he just need to install flash again.

Lk8 and. Ljc whats the difference ?

I am running a Rom that I am very fond of it happens to be of the Lk8 variety but due to a compatability issue I may need to change to cleanrom or beans rom due to the fact it works with my Dac/Amp but they both are Ljc type Roms I believe.
So what is the difference and what problems do I need to be aware of when flashing an Ljc Rom after running an Lk8 Rom?
Thanks for your help

Not to sure of the little stuff but with the ljc you will have more carrier specific stuff since thats the official and lk8 is a leak. If you roll back to ljc you will get tge chameleon errors but there are fixes for that in general and development sections

Thanks for the repy.
This is all fairly new to me although my years of working on PCs helps I still am a novice in all things Android

Yep... What eZ said.
You didn't say what version you are on to suggest the correct one.
Assuming your signature is right and you're running 4.1.2.
Download AT&T UCAMH3 i317 *Odexed* Stock CWM Note 2 if your running a cherry 4.1.2.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484338
Again, assuming this UCAMH3 is what you are running.....
I sat on my tin foil psychic hat today, so I'm a little off. :silly:
